Beautiful and private with great sh
Shelter was clean and nice, views were wonderful and the property was nice and private, bathroom was clean and George was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to our friends.
Great little spot. Bigger than expected. Quiet and relaxing. It rained our entire stay, but didn’t “dampen” the mood at all. We stayed dry and had a kept the good times going. Highly recommend!
This place is fantastic, and we had a great weekend! The shelter was really nice to have and felt so cozy. It even had some camping and grilling supplies in case you forgot something. The spot was well maintained, with a really nice fire pit and wood available. The surrounding woods were lovely. George was great, available, and helpful. We were very happy and impressed and can't wait to go back.
Relaxing mountain getaway
We had an amazing weekend at the Toccoa River Cove. Campsite was awesome and the all the small camping amenities in the shelter make it that much better. This is our second time staying at a property by this owner and we would gladly do it again.
George is awesome. Site is nice. Shelter is amazing. Outhouse is handy. Not as private as the Cove (his other property) or as much as we wanted just due to proximity of the cabin and its occupants next to it, but it's tucked back nicely away from view. I will say we were up late with music and a fire and had no complaints, so that's good. You have to trek your stuff uphill a bit, but host provides a sturdy wagon and a handy cart. This site can be pretty windy (which we didn't mind, but good to know). Might want to check those directions to the site as the cabin's house next door is number is 257, not 277 as listed in directions. Overall we would do again, as it's nice and private and clean and a great value. But the Cove property is probably more our style.
