Camping is provided by and in support of the Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center, a 501 3C non-profit company. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest, the Outdoor Center provides access to the Blueberry Hill network of trails, the Vermont Long Trail, The Catamount Trail, and the Moosalamoo National Forest Trails. All campsites are located at the edge of the field behind the Outdoor Center. We have hot/cold outdoor showers as well as restrooms in the Outdoor Center. For more information, visit our website at blueberryhilltrails dot com. While there is an internet connection near the buildings, it may not be available at your site. Cell service is limited at best. You can drive your car right up to your site. Sites are a good distance apart. Site 1 and the Bed in the Shed are the most private. Site two is quite open and supports trailers. For your campfire, you can forage for wood or request "bundles" (about a dozen hunks of wood) by the morning of your arrival, and we'll have it delivered to your site. Please note, wood from outside Vermont is not permitted. We like to keep things quiet. No generators at any time. Step outside your tent and you'll find a wealth of hiking, biking, and running trails. As stewards of these trails, your camping fees help support the efforts of this non-profit company. Nearby, you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Trail maps are provided upon arrival, and you can also view them online on our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. The Outdoor Center offers snacks and cold drinks for purchase, including our inn-made chocolate chip cookies, chips, and cold drinks. Learn more about this land: Texas Hill Brook camp site The Texas Hill Brook site is a flat, wooded campsite on Texas Hill Brook in Huntington. The campsite is roughly 10m x 30m (30' x 100'), large enough for several tents or a small camper/RV. It is accessed by a sloped 50m (about 150') gravel driveway. The narrowest part of the driveway is 2.6m (about 8.5 feet). There is a 3m x 3m (10' x 10') tent platform and a large picnic table. Firewood is provided. Near our home about 120m/400 feet away through the trees but relatively private. Within a short pedal or drive to some of the best mountain biking and hiking Vermont has to offer, 15 minutes to Richmond and Hinesburg, and just a half hour to Burlington. Electricity on site, primitive fire pit, but no other facilities, so ALL waste must be packed out. We have a bucket commode to loan if you don’t have your own.

All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. Blueberry Lake is just a short walk down our hill. Blueberry Lake is widely used year round for swimming, ice fishing, seasonal fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Long Trail nearby Bike trails/x country ski trails are connected right to our homestead. Continue on the trail and access some of the best mountain biking trails and snow biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. Sugarbush Resort is a 10 minute drive and is one of the best ski mountains in the area! If you are looking for gym and shower facilities, you can stop into the Sugarbush Resort, just a short driving distance, for a day pass fee. Massages are available as a add on during booking! As far as we know, this land has been occupied since shortly after the civil war.  It is actually two farms, combined into one around 1900. The main farmhouse was built out of the logs they cleared in 1879, and there are old foundations of the other original farm houses/barns as well.  All over the property (now woods) there are piles of stones that the original inhabitants pulled from the fields. The second farm house was built in 1901. Most of the total 240 acres were cleared pasture land at that time.  During the twenties and thirties the property was owned by an industrious couple from the City that lovingly turned it into more of a "rustic retreat"; damming a pond, planting ornamentals and upgrading the buildings.  There have been many owners over the years, but we are proud to say it has been with us the longest.  Our family bought it in 1961 and we have been trying to be good stewards ever since.  Come and visit our little patch of wilderness!

This off-the-grid tiny house is nestled on a 23 acre parcel at the end of a quarter-mile dirt road. The property itself is secluded but is less than 2 miles from the heart of Saranac Lake's downtown. This property is bordered by the Saranac River, the backside of Baker Mountain and State Forest. The only other building on the property is our timberframe which we may or may not be at during the time of your visit. The property does have private trails up to the cliffs on the backside of Baker mtn however, the Saranac River is down a steep embankment so it does not make for a good place to launch a boat (several public boat launches nearby). Weekend Trip to BlueberryHill Field Camp

My fourth time at the best Hipcamp in Vermont. This is the quintessential camping plus comfort. It is a comfortable bed, no bugs. In a shed, no power. With a fire pit, a huge sky, blueberries and moose around, screaming wifi and clean bathrooms and delightful outdoor showers. The Green Mountains have so much to offer and a safe and warm and comfortable place to call home is all you need.

5 nights at Camp TedRock Adirondack Retreat

Ted's A frame site was the perfect stay for us. We had the best time relaxing and recharging out in the woods there. Ted has done an outstanding job making his property inviting and comfortable while allowing you to be totally off grid and remote. The A-Frame was clean and spacious and right next to the hangout area of the campsite with an outhouse close by! The use of his all-terrain cart was invaluable to be able to take food back to the car at night, as there is a short walk on trails to the site. Next time we'll pack a "daily meal" cooler to make this easier for ourselves instead of hauling the main one back and forth! When we arrived the site was prepped with our breakfast cooler add-on with fresh eggs, bacon, local syrup, and more! The firepit had a nice pre-built starter fire ready to light. Multiple lanterns in the cabin made our headlamps optional in the best way. We were the only ones there during the week and enjoyed the complete silence of the forest around us of his property. Despite that, we were still close enough to Lake George for a hike to the Pinnacle and anything we needed. Close by we were able to go kayaking on Garnet Lake (shout out to Ted for the recommendation!) and do some Loon watching. Overall a wonderful stay and this will absolutely be a place we come back to in the future. Ted clearly cares about his guests experience and puts love and effort into these sites.

Weekend Trip to Harold's View Farm

I stayed here with a group of friends and had such a lovely time! The site was beautiful and conveniently located near lots of great hiking. Westford was also incredibly friendly - be sure to visit Black Orchid Café. We especially enjoyed the warm outdoor shower, farm-fresh eggs, plentiful firewood, and beautiful sunset views. The cabin kept us dry through pouring rain and was reasonably priced when shared among four or more people. It did have quite a few bugs, but that felt par for the course for a rustic cabin stay. Even have solar powered lights! The site can be tricky to find in the dark, so I highly recommend arriving before sunset on your first day. The tent and RV sites looked great too. I would happily stay here again!

Weekend Trip to MalloRied Sugarwoods Cabin

Was a terrific spot tucked back in woods. Was on a biking trip in the area and it made for the perfect place to cook up breakfast in the morning and kick back in the evening and relax in the woods after a long day on the trails. Only regret was we didnt have more time to just hangout and enjoy the cabin.

5 nights at Camp TedRock Adirondack Retreat

Camp TedRock was exactly what we were looking for! An off the grid experience with some amenities that make it comfortable but still have the primitive camping feel.Ted thought of all the little things that make this happen! Ted met us there and gave us the rundown on where to get supplies if we needed to in Warrensburg, had a great book with information, hiking suggestions, reading material, and games. Since there is no cell service at the site, we have played more games of cards, Yahtzee, and checkers than I think we ever had! It was great to not have a phone! Camp TedRock is a beautiful place to recharge from busy life. I would highly recommend purchasing the breakfast package with local syrup, bacon, eggs, pancake mix, and English muffins. This was delivered in a cooler and has all you need for a great pre-hike breakfast. We hiked the Sleeping Beauty trail, Snow Mountain, and the Rooster Comb. We plan on coming back and start on a couple of the 46ers. This has been one of the most relaxing and memorable trips we have ever had. We will be back!

4 nights at The TrailHouse

The Little Red Cabin was the perfect landing pad for a week of Mountain Biking with my son. Caitrin and Hardy are the perfect hosts and the location could not possibly be any better. Love the outdoor showers, the quiet, and easy access to some fantastic riding. This is our third time here and would highly recommend this to anyone.

1 night at Green Mountain Trails

We loved staying at Shrek's! It feels so seperate from the world. The hike in adds to the adventure and makes you feel miles from the rest of the world. We hope to be back!

1 night at Endless Grove

Gnome cabin was a dream! We only had one night, so we chose to stay close to the site. Instantly when we arrived I could feel how special Endless Grove was. The site was so serene. It rained most of our stay, so we opted out of using the boat, but would've been a great bonus! The cabin itself is small, but gorgeous. We loved looking around and taking in the small details and love that went into building it. I felt like I was living my best forest fairy life and It’s places like this that are the reason my hubby and I have such high standards for camping/glamping. We will definitely be back! 💚

2 nights at Green Mountain Trails

Awesome cabin, really well cared-for and thoughtfully equipped. I was impressed. The sleeping pads were, surprisingly, super-comfortable. The hike up the Green Trail was easier/quicker than I expected but just enough to make you feel like you worked a little for the view. The one thing to be aware of (which the host does point out in the info he sends you) is that the cabin is a somewhat well-trafficked nexus between a number of trails, so mid-day a number of curious visitors will be poking around the cabin, which can be a little distracting if you're not feeling social. But from mid-afternoon on you really have full solitude. The cabin is surprisingly well-insulated, almost to the point of getting stuffy overnight (if one of the windows was able to open I couldn't figure it out), so if you're coming in high summer no need to bring a sleeping bag or anything like that.

Weekend Trip to BlueberryHill Field Camp

This was a magical spot for our family of 4. The sites all felt private and spaced from each other, but also felt really nice to also have access to bathrooms and showers across the field :). We found this location via Hipcamp, but there’s also an Inn across the (gravel/quiet) road, which is worth looking into as well! There are trails to hike directly from the property, a nearby state park with a lake for swimming, and a town about 15 minutes away with a grocery store and restaurants if you need them!

Weekend Trip to Adirondack Rustic Retreat

We loved staying on Margarete’s land. It is a great piece of property and our kids loved jumping into the pond. We used the site as a jump off point to some hikes in the high peaks. We hope to make it back!

Weekend Trip to Endless Grove

Amazing mini cabin! We were greeted with a lovely little card and a binder full of helpful information. The pond in the back was cool to explore, the fireplace was perfect, great hiking trails and lake nearby. The outhouse was very clean and there was some leftover wood for us to use. We had a great time and experience and will definitely be back soon! Thank you :)

If you aren’t staying here to watching the sun rise and eat the best darn eggs this side of lake champlain you’re doing it wrong. this spot was breath taking beautiful. the stars were out of this world. definitely worth the check out!! louella you are a gem!!!
