We camped for 10 nights. Very quiet other than the birds singing. We enjoyed visiting with our children and grandchildren who all live in the area.
Our host, James, was very nice and accommodating. Our campsite was a mix of sun and shade. The kids had a great time kayaking and fishing in Big Creek which borders part of the property.
It was like camping in the middle of the woods, but close to the little town of Saluda.
Thank you James. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

James was an attentive host and his responses were very quick. The campsite is awesome, clean, and in a very safe location. We enjoyed our camping trip here and will be back again for sure!

The campground is great but if youre from out of town... people will run around your site in the middle of the night. I had people constantly running through while I was in my tent. Making noises and messing with things.. to the point where I wasn't sure if they were a threat or not and armed myself with my pistol. If your dogs are barkers.. people will intentionally do things to aggravate your dogs constantly. I never experienced such disrespect from other campers like that before.

We absolutely loved our stay. The park is in immaculate shape. As tent campers, It was wonderful having access to the shower house and bathroom.
We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

James was very accommodating around my plans to arrive changing multiple times due to distance, crazy weather and other delays. The camp sites are very well kept up, very tidy. James delivered hardwood to my site while I was away and included some pine for starting the fire. I look forward to checking out Big Creek RV Park when I’m in the Greenville SC area again. 5 stars!

I've been doing a lot of gravel riding on my bicycle, and this site is perfect for it. Big Creek RV is conveniently located right next to the roads I've been riding. I can't wait to take a kayak next time since it's situated right by the water.

The campground was in immaculate condition. The heated restroom was clean as well as the heated shower room. The campsite was cleared of leaves and covered in a beautiful moss. The instructions on how to get to the spot were very clear. I am looking forward to returning.

The campgrounds are very well kept, quiet, and have beautiful scenery all around. Each site had plenty of space; did not feel right up against anyone else. We appreciated the warm and clean toilet and shower houses! Can only speak praises with our experience. Will definitely come back next time we travel to the area.

This is the second time I have stayed in this exact site. Again, I would recommend this camp ground to anyone. Almost perfectly level, plenty wide enough for slides on both sides of your camper. Quiet, out of the way, and yet close enough to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at Old home Site 10. The entire park was clean and well maintained. James was an excellent host. The shelter was a hit as temperatures soared. If you are into Gravel Biking, Saluda county is the place with miles of great gravel roads. We will definitely return when the weather cools.

We enjoyed our stay here at site 4.
It is in the back surrounded by trees with a water view. The site was mostly shaded all day. There is a single shower a short walk from site 4 and a single restroom a bitfurther, between sites 9 and 10 James was a wonderful host. The grounds were very quiet and clean. Loved the creativity in building and fences throughout.] Would definitely recommend more fore couples I think grown ups not much for kids to do

I love the peace and serenity of Big Creek. It’s our favorite place to get away and just connect with nature and each other. The host James is amazing and always makes the stay enjoyable. If you truly want a getaway and don’t like the “sardine” style RV parks, this is your place!

Tent camping at Big Creek was fantastic. You can tell James takes pride in the park. Very clean, bathroom and shower were clean and well lit, even at night!
Our daughter had an amazing first camping experience here, and we will definitely be back.

We had a great time at Big Creek RV Park. James is a good host. He is very welcoming and friendly. He responded to our messages promptly, and provided all the information we asked for. The campground has very spacious spots and is extremely clean. We stayed on the Old Shelter Home site 10 and loved it. We enjoyed sitting under the shelter with the fans on just listening to the sounds of nature and reading. There isn't a lot to do in the area, but if you are looking for a quiet place to just sit and relax, then this is where you need to go. We highly recommend the place.
