Our land is family land that has been untouched for years but we are restoring back to a farm and horse rescue. There is an old cemetery here, creeks, hills and valleys. It's beautiful. Wildlife can be seen in the woods. The highway used to run through the woods many years ago but got moved.

We have 38 acres with hills and valleys. There is an old dirt and gravel road lined with trees, a natural spring that usually has water, large rocks, a very old cemetery, wildlife, and beautiful wildflowers and blackberries depending on the time of the year. Our house and land have been in my family over 100 years. Lots of history! Come out and visit and enjoy nature! Deer and turkey are active now too! We have grills for you to use, a picnic table, swings and fire pits.
Kaleidoscope Farms offers a peaceful and secluded camping experience, perfect for those looking to escape into nature with friends or family. Campers appreciate the space, allowing for dogs to roam freely and providing ample room for activities like stargazing, checkers, or simply relaxing under the stars. The host, Stephanie, consistently receives praise for her friendliness and responsiveness, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well-informed. While the campsite is conveniently close to Columbia, SC, some guests note the slight presence of road noise, which might be a minor consideration for light sleepers.
I loved everything about the campsite, nice and secluded but not too far from a gas station if you forget something. Stephanie is very kind and helped us out find the campsite with no problem. Definitely will be back and recommend stopping here. The graveyard is really cool also!
We camped here with our two dogs, we were able to let them free roam no issues, they loved it! We had a great spot, and had enough distance from the other campers, we didn’t even notice anyone else had been there till we decided to walk the property! Plenty of space for a big family or just a couple like us! Stephanie was super accommodating and allowed us an early check in and was extremely friendly and welcoming, she truly makes the environment a warm welcome, and feels like home away from home! We drove 12 hours to camp here and we would do it again in a heartbeat!
Had a wonderful time just me and my dog. I got to let her run off leash which is wonderful because I barely get that opportunity. Stephanie is kind and quick to help if you need it. I got farm eggs even though I had my own because that's exciting :)
My son and I camped here for one night. We explored the property and found a small family grave yard which sparked discussion about life in the rural south before the Civil War. Great conversation starter for father/son camping trip. Liked the picnic table (played checkers) and extra table to put items on. Host was friendly and had great communication. We also were able to have our dog off leash which was nice. Only possible downside was hearing traffic from the road, but not that big of a deal for us.
