Hussey Mountain Tree Farm

Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Camp Ebb and Flow

Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is an "outhouse" with a flush toilet and over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property with many areas you can cool off in from the summer heat. This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times. It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill. Please check the calendar for available dates. Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult. A note regarding electric vehicles (EV): If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A or 50A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups. If you do not see an open site for the days you'd like to get away, please contact us. Sometimes we can make other arrangements, allowing you to stay.

About

Just outside North Conway, Echo Lake provides the perfect setting for swimming, hiking, and picnicking. A scenic trail around the lake provides great views of the sheer, 700-foot-high Cathedral Ledge towering over the lake, while longer hiking trails lead into Cathedral Ledge State Park and to the top of Cathedral Ledge, from where hikers can enjoy sweeping views across the Saco River Valley to the White Mountains. Both Cathedral Ledge and the nearby White Horse Ledge are also popular settings for rock climbing. While there are no campsites in the park, the Saco River Camping Area is just a 10-minute drive.

When to go

Echo Lake State Park is open year-round and busiest in summer. As parking is limited at Echo Lake, visitors can make reservations up to 30 days before arriving to ensure entry—this is especially recommended on weekends and holidays. Walk-in spaces are available for visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Winter visitors may find some gates and facilities closed.

Drones are prohibited over or within New Hampshire state park boundaries.
Pets are permitted on the back trails in the Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge areas only. Pets are not allowed at Echo Lake from May 1 to October 31.
