This RV pad, located 1.5 miles from Exit 77 on I-90, has breathtaking views the Clark Fork valley and is located near whitewater rafting, fishing, hunting and hiking amenities. Located at functioning food and flower farm (Crescent Ridge Farm), the RV pad is located 400 feet from the farm house and a few hundred feet from the large flower garden.
This stay offers a farm experience so you may see farming in action. We welcome you to self tour our food and flower garden, watch the free-range chickens and simply enjoy the view on the outdoor patio.
The gravel RV pad is 28 feet in length (plus additional grass area) and includes a potable water and sewer hookups along with electricity. Fires are allowed (pending no restrictions) in the fire pit. A concrete pad with table and chairs offers outdoor amenities.

The campground is near both the Interstate and a railroad so there is some ambient noise.

Campground is on private property, not a traditional campground, campsites are well spaced apart and each is different. One mile from Hwy 93, possible noise. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart, ground is uneven. Two blocks from the Bitterroot river fishing access.
This property is so beautiful and peaceful out here at night. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle.
The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that come through.

Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, and wildlife.
My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. As the summer goes by the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.

You will have to drive on gravel road for a half mile to get to your Hipcamp site. Bear Camp will provide you the opportunity to be close to the famous Bitterroot River and fly fishing. There are also numerous hiking trails in the Bitterroot Selway Range to enjoy. The sites will provide an open, unobstructed view of the night sky for star gazing. This 2160 acre island is also the home of deer, mountain lions, bears, several species of eagles, and wild horses. Day hiking is allowed and is a 5-minute boat ride from your beach spot. Just slightly over an hour to Glacier National Park and access to all the mountain lakes, rivers and streams to explore, you won't be bored. Right around the corner, you have access to a boat ramp at one of the state-owned Parks with public showers, if the lake water is too cold. Tranquil and peaceful Seeley Creek RV sites on two acres with historic log cabins. Let the sounds of the creek lull you to sleep each night. Walkable to town, very close to the beaches and boat launches and endless wilderness access.
We are a "mom and pop" operation with only the two sites on the back of our two acre property. We are in the process of putting new siding on the main house, so you will see some construction materials for the next couple weeks.

-50amp (we will have some plug adapters to use soon, but you will need your own adapter if you are less than 50 amp)

-Large loop driveway- ample space and parking for trailers, rigs, boats, sleds and other toys.
Our property is on the border of the national forest and walking distance to town (multiple restaurants, shops and a golf course). Less than one mile to the Seeley Lake beaches or boat launches.
Wilderness hiking, hunting, huckleberry picking are half a mile above the property. The forest behind the place has direct access to the Bob Marshall wilderness. The Mission Mountain wilderness is a 30-40 minute drive. In winter, the area is ideal for cross-country skiing (trails behind the property), snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.

Molly and Michael run an amazing site. The family was very warm and welcoming, and the site was even better than described. We had ample fire wood for the fire pit, enjoyed the grill, and spent plenty of time enjoying the views. As a bonus, we got regular visits from their lab, Lou.
I highly recommend for friends, couples or families.

Conveniently located off the highway. Spectacular views. Great pad for RV parking. Porta potty was clean and conveniently located. We slept well, but light sleepers should be aware that there was some noise from trains during the night. We enjoyed the dogs, as well as touring the flower gardens.

There is a propane grill, beautiful views during the day and night, crisp mornings… and then there is wonderful Louis. We loved him. Wish you sold Louis stickers for our camper. Allen was great. The view was amazing. I wish we had taken his advice to just stay in the area and boat to Wild Horse Island. But alas we only had so much time. Beautiful shaded grassy area. Deer, birds, owl, hawk - all came through to visit us. Full sewer, water, electricity. We usually dry camp so what a luxury!!

Big Larch Campground
Good space between sites well maintained, stayed for one night. We thought there might be a nice spot to hang out at the lake but it was just a boat ramp. Still a nice spot we saw lots of deer and some ground squirrels
This site sits right in the river. There are 3 sites in total, and a day use site at the entrance. There are bbq fire pits, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Lots of big, beautiful trees. The Thompson River is amazing for taking a dip or fishing. Definitely a must visit! First come first serve, seasonal. Opening date is usually Memorial Day!

This just made a list of "hidden gem" campgrounds in Montana. Its a National Forest Campground ON the highway at a rest area "forested." And so, no one appears to know it is there... It is almost always very lightly populated. In fact on one side they closed a loop but there are still like 77 sites. A tunnel goes under the highway to connect the loops. One is on the river side and gets most of the campers. Great fishing area at exits. The other side has a dump station, potable water and flush toilets by the campground host site. For the money, this is a hard to beat National Forest campground. Down the road 15 minutes is a great steakhouse and you are only 35 minutes from Missoula and the main shopping area. Things to do see above...

Loved this campground! We camped right above the river and the views were amazing. Warning, there is a train track across the river and a train passed by both nights we were there. The train seems much closer than it is - tremendous noise and the ground shook! Then it was gone. Just a bit of added excitement.

Hello, I have always loved camping at Big Larch. We camped up there on the June 25th, 26th & 27th. They gave us the handy cap because all the spots were saved for people coming up on Friday. Normally we wouldn't have but we had drove around for 4 hours in & out of campgrounds. I didn't think they could be saved without paying & you just put chair in spot. Not fare to people looking to camp that day. The out houses were very bad, no one cleaned them the whole time we were there. This has been one of my favorite camp grounds until this summer. Its to bad after all the work that has been done to make the camp ground a beautiful place to camp.

We have stayed here three times in the past and will be back in June 2019 for three nights. Obviously, we like it.
We travel the US in a rented motorhome and like to break our 7/8 week trips with a little more luxury and a solid floor occasionally, not too mention a decent sized bathroom.
This place is absolutely beautiful. Amazing surroundings and pretty buildings. The accommodation is rustic yes, but spacious and comfortable.
Managers and volunteers friendly and charming.
On most of our stays it has been extremely quite and we have had the whole site more or less to ourselves.
A bonus is the short walk to the Casino, restaurant, store complex. It's nice to have somewhere to eat without having to cook.
Definitely recommended.
