After finding our favorite camp spot still has not opened for the season, we booked this site when we were only minutes away from turning back and going home. Stephen was quick to respond, helpful and accommodated us immediately. The site was easy to find, clean and beautiful scenery. Kids loved hiking around and dog friendly!

Internet wassional, and host was very professional and kind.

Great Host & Peaceful Camping

We were in town for a baseball tournament in Stevensville and needed a camping spot nearby. We found TK Ranch, just about a mile off Highway 93, and only a 10-minute drive to the baseball fields. What we discovered upon arrival was a hidden paradise tucked away in the woods.
The seasonal creek was running, and my dogs absolutely loved it. Even though our campsite was close to the house, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves — so peaceful and relaxing, which was exactly what we needed after long days at the tournament.
Stephen, the host, was very quick to respond and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. The only downside was that we didn’t get to explore the nearby Kootenai Creek Trailhead, which is just half a mile away, but it’s definitely on our list for next time.
Overall, I highly recommend TK Ranch and Stephen as a host. We’ll definitely be back!

Stephen was an excellent host. Property is located in a great spot, just 1/2 mile from kootenai creek trailhead. You can also walk around the property and check things out!

TK ranch was great! It’s a mile from the highway and half a mile from a trail up into the Bitterroot Mtns. Stephen came out and greeted us upon arrival- really friendly guy. The pad was a level fully paved spot off his primary driveway with water and electric hookup available. We originally planned to stay one night but after seeing the place decided to stay for two. We highly recommend Stephen and TK Ranch!

Stephen went out of his way to make sure we had electricity and water as the temperature was over 100 degrees.
The location is at his home surrounded by trees. Very relaxing and the road leading in to it provided. Good place to get some exercise after being in the trick all day.
We also purchased some farm fresh eggs; can’t get much fresher as his dad and I went out to the hen house and picked them up out of the nests. We had some in the morning and they were excellent.

Do yourself a favor: however many days you plan on staying here, add two. Tons to explore in the area, and Stephen and his family couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. He is an RVer himself and not only gets it, but seems to take real pleasure in hosting.
If you need reliable internet, pick site 1. You can get it at site 2 with some effort, and probably in a short time, he’ll have the kinks worked out for that site as well.
My pets loved the little creek that runs along the property.
If I come back through the area, I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at TK ranch! Stephen was easy to communicate with and provided great information for accessing and area recommendations. The property itself is amazing with lots to do nearby and great hiking trails walking distance from the property. The satellite internet works great, best internet we’ve had in a month of travels. Stephen’s dad, Gary, was also kind enough to pick us up at the end of our river float. Overall, a great stay and highly recommend this hipcamp. Stephen has a special property!

I stayed at TK Ranch for a week. It was very quiet even with the other guest spot nearby, but not too close. My favorite things were walking my dogs through the woods on Steven's large property and I was able to work remotely using the internet provided (I have a wifi antenna, your results could vary). Don't miss the kootenai Creek hike just down at the end of the road, the river is beautiful and if you have a day, you can go up to the Alpine lake.

We had a great stay!! Our host was very friendly and helpful! It was a beautiful place for my wife, our son and I to camp out for a few nights. It was very quiet and the views were perfect. We defiantly hope to come back again.

This spot is what HIPCAMP had in mind when they started! Open spaces, congenial host, quiet, wifi, water, and electricity all in a rustic setting not too far away from activities.
Stephen had a great intro letter sent prior to arrival, directions were clear and guidelines were shared.
He is very close to the Bitterroot Bikeway which makes for a great spot to start a new adventure.

Great spot tucked back in the woods between two creeks. Super private, Ponderosa and Aspens aplenty, and a nice fire pit and chairs. Stephen was super easy to communicate with and although we didn’t meet him he came off extremely welcoming. It was a perfect respite!

This was our first Hipcamp experience and we plan to go back another time for sure. The setting was quiet and peaceful (absolutely no road noise!) but also there was enough to keep kids entertained.
Stephen was the perfect host, making sure we were comfortable but not hovering over us. He gave us ideas of what to do and encouraged us wander around the property. Can’t wait to try out the firepit next time. It was just too hot this trip.
We were fortunate enough to have a lot in common with the guests at the other site and spent time socializing with them. But the sites are set up so that you have some privacy and can keep to yourself if you prefer

It was an amazing experience. The setting is beautiful, with an incredible view of the mountains. Just a half mile to the start of the beautiful Kootenai Creek Trailhead. Stephen and Kate go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed spending time with them, and will definitely be back!!
