Larry and Jen were fantastic hosts and the spot they have on their land is nothing short of killer!!! It’s quiet, beautiful, and convenient to all that Western Montana has to offer. We definitely will be back!!

Double Rainbow headed to Glacier

This was a nice, quiet stop for 1 night on our way to Glacier. Larry is a nice guy and a great communicator. We did not take advantage of his entire property or the pond. It rained the entire time we were there, but it was fine because we were tired and needed to get ready to travel again the next day. The rain gave us a beautiful double-rainbow though, which was awesome.

Larry’s property was a great space for us. He was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Our dogs were able to run around and the area was very safe. We will definitely come again next year once springtime arrives!

What a great hipcamp spot. Stayed there twice on a cross country trip. Larry is a friendly, warm and welcoming host. Great quiet spot surrounded by foothills and pretty views. On the return trip, his young daughter walked over, introduced herself and we had a great chat. When she left, she handed us a wonderful gift, a bag of Huckleberry taffy! Will definitely visit again!

Private, close to great fly fishing and Missoula. The meadow was super peaceful and the spot was nice. Our dogs loved being able to roam free around the area. Larry was very nice and gave good recommendations on things to do in the area and where to fish. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Larry is a fantastic host. He personally welcomed us and assisted us in getting situated. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and even gave me a call in the evening to let me know of an approaching storm (in case we were inside and would miss out on the lightning show).

It was easy to find, enjoyed the privacy and trees on the site. We were close to the kettlehouse amphitheater which was great. It was 95 out and they were helpful, suggesting a little swimming hole close to their property.

This spot was ideal for taking a break from our drive. It was very convenient to get there from I-90. The camping spot was easy to access towing our 27 ft. Airstream as were the hook ups. The location is on a big plot of land partway up a hill the view was of a meadow and hills in the distance. Larry was helpful and available for questions. And to cap it off, we were greeted by a friendly young girl with huckleberry taffy.

Amazing site and host! We stayed two days/nights and Larry was the most wonderful host - he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with so many suggestions for sites to see that weren’t in any brochures.
Tons and tons of room for dogs to roam off-leash - just absolutely beautiful!! Would (and definitely will) stay again!!

Larry's land is open and quiet. One is alone without being lonely and with the charm of a railroad horn far in the distance. Nicer folks cannot be found with lots to do nearby.

Lovely, well-laid-out site overlooking their meadow. The host was welcoming and so helpful when we had trouble with our rig. Close enough to everything you want to do but has the quiet peacefulness of the country. Larger rigs will want to back in. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful stay! We plan on visiting again next year.

I don't know which I liked the most... the spot or the host. Larry was super helpful and informative and literally opened up his land for us to explore and enjoy. He is a special person. Very cool terrain that we explored both on foot and in our Jeep.
We watched the deer play in the field each morning and each evening. Even his dogs are super cool. Thanks again Larry... we'll see you again.

Site was in a quiet spot on Larry’s land close to his house and another trailer housing his in laws. The site has electric, sewer and water which is exactly what we wanted after boondocking for six days. Larry was extremely nice and very helpful and even helped guide us into our spot when we took the wrong road into his place. He checked in on us to ensure we had bear spray.

Beautiful spot in Clinton, MT. Larry has a lot of property with stunning views, privacy, but still close enough to civilization. This is our favorite Hipcamp location. We sat out at night and enjoyed the beautiful sky without light interference from neighbors or businesses. Full hookup and a rare dogs off leash area. We will be back! Thank you so much, Larry for your help and tips around the area.

Larry bent over backwards to make sure we had a great experience. We only spent one night on our way to the Grand Canyon but loved the stay. Perfect location to catch a concert at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater (which was also a fabulous experience.
