Burke is the spot for ATVs and Snowmobiling, Fishing, Hunting, Biking (Hiawatha Trail) Hiking, and Sightseeing old Mines. We now have STARLINK. We also have a Chalet for rent on our property. This is a gorgeous, serene getaway in the Historic ghost town of Burke Idaho. Built in the early 1900's and newly remodeled with all the comforts of home. Located 7.5 miles northeast from the town of Wallace. Centrally located within minutes of 2 major Ski resorts. Private hot tub, wood stove and many other features. Immediate access to many snowmobile, ATV, or hiking trails from the front door of this home. Home includes an attached garage and lots of parking for trucks with trailers. Year round activities available throughout the area including snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, hiking and biking or just take a stroll along the creek or play in the snow.

Location, location, location best describes our beautiful 3.3 acres of privately owned land with a mix of meadows and trees with additional upper-level sites as well. Cyclists, SXS'ers or bikers can take off right from the front gate to The Center of the Universe (downtown Wallace less than a mile away) or out to the open trails surrounding Wallace in all its glory. WHAT WE OFFER: 3.3 acres of mostly flat grassy meadow, trees, as well as a gravel/rocky, still-being-developed area; Lou's Happy Crapper containing 2 private toilets, 2 private bath/showers, and one sink; (As of mid-October the water system will be winterized, therefore no water, bath house or toilet facilities will be available, self-contained campers only until spring when weather permits) a central covered fire pit area, and all of it totally fenced. WHAT WE DON'T OFFER: private firepits, power, sewer or water hookups. WHAT WE KINDLY ASK: Please adhere to pack it in-pack it out practices (Please take all garbage with you when you leave). Leave the restroom area clean after use, including wiping down showers, and keeping toilets clean. Toilet paper and cleaning supplies are provided (any donations to the supplies or firewood is greatly appreciated and follows our "pay-it-forward" philosophy.) At this time, we do not have labeled sites and ask that we all respect the desire to have space between visitors. We have not determined a maximum capacity as of yet, but our desire is to keep it small so everyone can experience the peace and tranquility of the open wilderness. We are pet friendly and ask that you act responsibly and clean up after your pet as well as keep on a leash if they possibly will act out. Please keep gates closed at all times. We may or may not be present during your stay, but at time of booking we will be able to tell you. There are so many events in this awesome town called Wallace. By providing a place for campers to stay is one way in helping to preserve and enjoy this historic, small-town gem! An arial pic is provided to illustrate camp spot possibilities. The campground is rarely this occupied- this arial is of our family and closest friends during Memorial Day weekend 2025. Please do not park any vehicles on the grassy area on the backside of the bathhouse.

Primitive camping with no water or trash service, pack in / pack out. There is a portable toilet. Located in the Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River, this is a premier location for the whitewater enthusiast. Take advantage of the class II, III rapids in your kayak or raft, or even surf. Alternatively, enjoy the relaxing Sandy Beach just a few minutes walk from the campground to swim and gaze at the beautiful argilite cliffs. The campground is near both the Interstate and a railroad so there is some ambient noise.

1 RV spot with water and 30 amp Power ( no sewer) plenty of parking and RV spot is long enough for your longest trailers, no turn around at the RV spot so you must back in, just mind the tress 1 dry site, no power or water but very private space with plenty of space for you RV and truck 1 tent site that's very private in the woods, but must have 4x4 or AWD to get there 5 mins from Camp Tuffit and State Camp Ground for water access for your day at the lake and swimming or boating at Lake Mary Ronan, also 10 mins away from Flathead lake 1 hour from Glacier National Park, where all your outdoor adventures await Bring as many cars and friends as you want, plenty of space for tents and gatherings I also have an ATV/Dirt bike track that guest can use, bring your ATV, side by sides, 4x4 tucks, with semi groomed trails in the woods that you can drive around, the property is fully fence so you wont get lost, remember its 20 archers to ride around, plenty of space to park your trailers you used to tow your toys in as well. Also can provide guest stalls and pens for large animals like horses, or mules, fenced in area and I can provide water and shelter but you must bring your own feed for your animals I can also provide fire wood for additional cost or I do have some wood you can cut up for fire wood ATTENTION: please be aware if you bring dogs that you are staying on a farm, there are wild rabbits, chickens and cats that free roam the property, you must keep your dogs contained. Your dog must be kept in a secure place and not be allowed to run around freely unattended or keep them close to your party, if any property damage or animal lose is due to your dog you will incur more fees I also do have a small play structures for kids to play on. This is a private land of fun and peace, so if you want lots of land and space to stretch your legs and bring your toys (off road vehicles) and boats or animals to ride and and stay 5 mins from the lake to swim, 1 hour from the National Park and get away from the crowed camp grounds, this is your place

You're on the shores of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake, this side of the Mississippi, and home of Wildhorse Island, where the Boone and Crocket world record Bighorn Sheep was discovered, killed by winter weather. This 2160 acre island is also the home of deer, mountain lions, bears, several species of eagles, and wild horses. Day hiking is allowed and is a 5-minute boat ride from your beach spot. Just slightly over an hour to Glacier National Park and access to all the mountain lakes, rivers and streams to explore, you won't be bored. Right around the corner, you have access to a boat ramp at one of the state-owned Parks with public showers, if the lake water is too cold. If you want to make her an honest women, while you're here, you're staying on our wedding and event venue (www.flatheadlakeforevers) and we will help make that happen too. We are only a mile off the highway and rarely hear a passing truck. If the season is right, we can even offer a selection of fresh produce grown right in this field or take part in one of our foraging classes and learn to find food from the wilds. Whether you are passing through and just need a safe space for the night or want to stay awhile and immerse yourself in the land and location, you've found the right place.

Big trees and cozy sites

This site sits right in the river. There are 3 sites in total, and a day use site at the entrance. There are bbq fire pits, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Lots of big, beautiful trees. The Thompson River is amazing for taking a dip or fishing. Definitely a must visit! First come first serve, seasonal. Opening date is usually Memorial Day!
