Campground is on private property, not a traditional campground, campsites are well spaced apart and each is different. One mile from Hwy 93, possible noise. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart, ground is uneven. Two blocks from the Bitterroot river fishing access.
This property is so beautiful and peaceful out here at night. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle.
The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that come through.
RV camp spots on the east and west end of the pond. Camp spot out by the wooden round pen on the west side.
Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, and wildlife.
My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. As the summer goes by the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.

There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at these sites and no internet provided. Cell service is good and there are unobstructed views of the southern sky for satellite internet. Bring in/take out. No camp fires.
You will have to drive on gravel road for a half mile to get to your Hipcamp site. Bear Camp will provide you the opportunity to be close to the famous Bitterroot River and fly fishing. There are also numerous hiking trails in the Bitterroot Selway Range to enjoy. The sites will provide an open, unobstructed view of the night sky for star gazing. Please be mindful that you will be camping where there is wildlife that might come through the property so keep your camp site food free and wildlife proof. It is not unusual to see elk, deer, fox, and coyote roaming through. If you have small animals, make sure they are leashed up and within your sight when outside. It's for their safety.

Resting in the foothills of the sapphire mountains, just outside the town of Stevensville Montana, this beautiful 20 acre property is conveniently located halfway between Hamilton and Missoula; it is also a good midway point between Yellowstone and Glacier national parks. The outdoor activities are endless. Biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, hunting, trail riding, snow skiing and more are all within reach. Deer, turkey, osprey, killdeer, nighthawks, and eagles frequent the property as well as the occasional elk herd; and the Lee Metcalf wildlife refuge is about 15 minutes away.
The property sits about 400’ above the valley floor; giving spectacular panoramic views of the bitterroot valley and mountains, as well as incredible sunsets.
The paved road ends about 1 mile before the property, the remaining mile is a gravel road. There is also a one lane bridge right before you get to the property. Firewood is available for use at no charge. Sewer hookup has not been run to the site yet but if you have a portable tank, or want to pull the camper over to the house, it can be dumped as needed beside the garage; just ask and I can show you where the pipe is. There is a nema 14-50 hookup providing 50 amp power at the site; if needed I do have a 50 to 30 amp adapter you can borrow during your stay. Water hookup is also available at the site, but may be limited in freezing weather. If temperatures are to cold we can turn on the water to fill your tank as needed and then blow the line back out. If you need to borrow a potable water hose let me know as i keep those in the garage unless needed. There is a non-potable water hose that is available at the site, with a spray nozzle, incase you need to rinse or wash off gear, vehicles, etc. SpaceX Starlink high speed internet is available via WiFi. You can also charge your electric vehicle, if needed, with the power at the campsite or I have another nema 14-50 plug available at the garage of the main house. Be sure to let me know if you will need the plug at the garage so I can make sure it is accessible. If you have other questions feel free to contact me and I will do my best to answer them.

Located in the Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River, this is a premier location for the whitewater enthusiast. Take advantage of the class II, III rapids in your kayak or raft, or even surf. Alternatively, enjoy the relaxing Sandy Beach just a few minutes walk from the campground to swim and gaze at the beautiful argilite cliffs. The campground is near both the Interstate and a railroad so there is some ambient noise.
Note: we have cameras on the surf shack (container) that can see the entrance and the portable toilet area. We're happy to share the images with anyone concerned.

Great directions and an excellent shady spot to recover from a long drive on the interstate. The trains were an added bonus. Beautiful morning wake up with a sweet labrador boy visiting our site…just need to plan a bit more time for fishing on the next trip!

First off Telesha is super sweet. Our campsite was perfect. Just the right amount of shade and privacy. Not that we don’t like people but we were very fortunate to have the area to ourselves. We spent the majority of our time visiting our old friends and neighbors. leaving in the morning and returning at night . We gad electric and water which was exactly what we needed. The grounds are kept immaculate and the grass was super doft. We 100% recommend this HipCamp spot! Thank you for a peaceful and beautiful stay.

This was one of my favorite stays, and I want to return!
The owners were super friendly, and the place had so many fun things to do! We went rockhounding at two places nearby: Crystal Park, and a sapphire mine! They were both a lot of fun!
The campgrounds has a nice water area to sit in to beat the heat of Summer. They also have a nice lodge with lots of room in the lodge to play games and relax.
The bathrooms with showers were very clean as well.
Just a great place to stay, year-round!

We had an amazing time and the host were exceptional. The camp ground was extremely well kept. They had a recreation room, a full community kitchen, Coffee in the morning, lounging in the river, and great information about the surrounding area. This would be a great place to stay if you like to hunt or fish in the area come winter with resources nearby. It was also a great area for rock hounding for those that want to play in the dirt nearby. We would highly recommend this place to any of our closest friends.

We stayed at Spring Creek Ranch for our first use of Hipcamp. If they are all like this, I might not book any other way. Communication was smooth, directions clear and easy to follow. The RV pad itself is large and completely level with mountain views in multiple directions. It has a huge firepit and Don had it completely stocked with nicely dried firewood plus kindling. There is an "outhouse" nearby, but outhouse in name only really. It has 2 large toilets, electricity, changing tables, no smell, and a sink outside with running water, soap, towels, etc. Winner of the best outhouse ever award.
The site was very quiet and it was so very nice to not have any generators around as you gaze at the stars and listen to coyotes howling sitting around the fire. There were tons of birds, saw some deer, and lots of livestock all around the properties near the ranch including bison and the biggest longhorn bull I've ever seen.
I couldn't recommend more for RVs, small campers, tenters, whoever. Just a great stay.

Don’s site is absolutely incredible! The property is exactly as described, but honestly, it is even better in person. The site is wonderfully secluded and private. Our fierce "guard dogs"—who are really just tiny puppy Doodles—barked at neighbors passing by to use the outhouse. I felt bad for anyone needing to use it, but the setup itself is fantastic. Speaking of the outhouse—it was the absolute icing on the cake! As I told Don when he came by to check on us, if a high-end hotel were to put a porta-potty inside their building, this would be it. I have never seen one so incredibly fancy and clean, and it was so huge inside that you could literally do burpees in it. Don is an amazing host, highly hospitable, and very quick to answer questions. We loved it so much that we even ended up extending our stay for another night! We will definitely be coming back!
