Welcome to the Historic Camp Sula! Camp Sula has been around for over 100 years and sits right near the Bitterroot River on the East Fork.
Our location is just minutes from the Big Hole Battleground, Lewis and Clark Trail, Ross Hole, the Medicine Tree, and the famous Dutton Ranch, where the hit television series Yellowstone is filmed. Camp Sula is also located 12 miles north of Lost Trail Ski Resort, where we offer ski and stay packages.
The area offers great fishing access, hiking trails, and the beauty of the surrounding mountains and rivers around our property. The campground also offers for our guests a mini golf course, playground, fish-feeding-only pond, and so much more.

Old Barn Studios is located on 20 acres of mixed pasture, woods and riparian area. It includes a trout pond big enough to float kayaks on. The actual stay is in a rv which has three tip out, open air, queen beds ( so much like a tent,) the RV has a full bath and kitchenette. Most of the living space is outside. There is a picnic table and fire pit.
The Old Barn is home to a range of farm animals — sheep, goats, llama, chickens,dog,cats . It also offers two craft studios where classes are sometimes held in spinning, weaving, felting and other craft arts.
The owner lives on site and welcomes new visitors personally.

The hosts are always great! I'm the evening and morning we could hear elk calling in the hillside next to where we stayed. Also there are deer that come into the camp spot. It's a very quiet place that my wife and I love and will come back to many more times!

Smith Creek Ranch has to the most beautiful property we have ever stay on! The star-gazing was top tier and the wild life was so fun to hear (elk was bugling and chirping) and watch (there was tons of white-tail deer playing around). The site was super easy to find as well as the bathrooms on the property. Don really has done a great job with the place!

Donald’s ranch was a beautiful spot to park our van for the night! We walked the property after we arrived and set up camp in the Dark Skies campground spot. The creek was dry this time of year, but the night was beautiful. We awoke to deer, meadowlarks, and quail. So peaceful!

A little off season, Camp Sula was a very nice, quiet place to spend a down day from our busy travel schedule. The sites are level and easy to access, we enjoyed checking out the store and gifts. We took a short drive up East Fork road, but otherwise did very little, except sit by the river and watch the birds fly by. A little road noise, but a very quiet campground. Good break before we hit the road again.

We enjoyed our stay at Camp Sula. The property was easy to find, quiet, and clean. Communication with the owners was excellent. The bathroom facilities were by far the best we’ve enjoyed on our journeys. Not only were they clean, with plenty of hot water and great water pressure, my wife said the air freshener smell brought back great memories of the clean bathroom at church from her childhood.

Great spot right on the river! The dogs loved the ability to play in the water all day. Wish there was more of a beach front to sit in chairs in the water but we just went down to the fishing access a little bit down the road and no one was there and has a beach area. Full hookups were fantastic and allows for a group of 3 RVs. Owner very communicative and accommodating. Thanks again!

We stayed at site 3 for the night as we were passing through the area. Donald and Christina’s land is beautiful! You are right in nature with views of the mountains. They provided a picnic table, fire pit and wood which was greatly appreciated.

The drive to Donald’s was enjoyable. Passing open farm pastures of Cattle, Bison, and Alpacas. Star gazing is a must.
The bathrooms were roomy, and included a sink. Lots of space. Will return next year.

Beautiful mountain lakes and waterfalls. Well worth the hike upwards. Be sure to pack in lots of water from the campground or bring your filter.
