💧 DRY CAMPING: No hookups provided. Hydrants are available throughout the campground.
🚛 LARGE RIGS: Sites 1–6 are best for larger vehicles. These are in an open, flat meadow with views of the pond.
⛺ SECLUDED TENTS: We recommend the "Back Meadow" (Sites 7, 8, 10-17, 19-20) for more privacy, especially in July and August.
📏 LIMITS: Sites 7–20 accommodate vehicles/trailers up to 36 feet total length because of an access bridge.
🚻 AMENITIES: All sites are back-in (except 13 and 16, which are pull-through), offer partial shade, and have access to clean vault toilets.

The tipis are equipped with a queen-sized air mattress and bedding, a power box and lighting and a table and chair. You have access to picnic tables, a fire pit and a good selection of yard games like croquet and corn-hole to name a few.
The acreage is surrounded on three sides by Ashley Creek and boasts a unique covered bridge and awe-inspiring grandmother Willow trees.
Beautiful downtown Kalispell is an easy 10-minute walk. There you'll find local breweries with live music, a local ice cream shop, a variety of restaurants and shops.
Parking is not right next to the tipis, but we have a wagon to help get your things from your vehicle to your tipi.
Under the bridge is where you'll find our games, including croquet, badminton, Frisbee and Frisbee games, Bocce ball and Wiffle golf balls and clubs. We also have extra bedding and air mattresses in a secure chest.
Remember that you'll be camping in a field. We've done our level best to keep the tipis clean and clear of pests, but it is a natural environment, so there is a non-zero chance that you'll run across some dirt, grass, thistles, or a multi-legged friend. You might even get an unwanted gift from a bird. If any of that needs to be gone, you can access a broom and leaf blower on the bridge, or you can find one of us on the property and we'll take care of it for you. Thank you for your understanding!

The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property.
The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings.
***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

We live on 10 acres of mixed forest and field. In the summer we have an active blacksmithing school and flower farm here. The idea of a sustainable, self reliant lifestyle has always been part of our life and passing it down to others is a joy for us. We sustainably manage our food and forest to be the best stewards we can for our environment and our neighbors.
Our Cabin and structures were built primarily of materials that were recycled or milled on site. which makes them warm and inviting. The Cabin is located close to our shop which houses an active blacksmithing school in the summer months where the rest of the structures are separate and in an area tucked away on the edge of the woods.
Jeffrey and Betsy work to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Please note there are no pets as the wildlife could be disturbed..both human and otherwise, thanks. We maintain a small orchard of fruit trees, a garden which feeds us year round and a small flower farm on the property. Avid skiers, bikers, paddlers and hikers, offering the property for others to enjoy was a conscious decision made when planning all of our infrastructure. Come and enjoy all the beautiful Flathead Valley has to offer.

It was such a luxury to use the cabin, especial the hot shower after a long hike! I appreciate the hosts opening these up these facilities to campers.
The neighbor and the neighbor dog could be a bit loud, and the train goes through the area pretty often. Ear plus are essential.

Wonderful spot for a Glacier trip! Pam was a great host, meeting us on arrival to make sure everything was in order. The views were stunning, and having access to a hot shower was a game changer. We'll definitely be back on future trips to Glacier.

We did not want to leave this spot! We loved sitting on the porch of the lodge, having coffee, and then making s’mores at night. The location can’t be beat, and the property and lodge are clean and welcoming.

What a wonderful campsite!! Close to glacier national park, campsites not too close to other campers, and fun things to do at the actual campsite!! We definitely want to return!!

It was a great location, just a quick 15-minute drive from the West Glacier entrance. The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions. There is cellular reception and wifi which was a huge help. Great place to camp!

Really enjoyed our time at camp Staci. It really is a beautiful campsite and has a lot of privacy. Will definitely be going back next year!! We even saw some deer and the kids loved being able to run around

I stayed in the Airstream a few nights. Sheets, pillows, and towels were provided, and there was soap in the shower. Nice place! Would come back

Weekend Trip to The Mooseshroom
Terri is a great host! The yurt was comfortable and well appointed and the Commons was well equipped and beautifully landscaped. Showers were hot with good water pressure! It is such a peaceful place! We can’t wait to return!

I loved it here! we stayed for 5 days. we appreciated the shower since we weren't hooked up to sewer and it is bigger than our trailer. site 1 feels like we had our own yard. the picnic table was nice to sit at and I loved sitting outside in the morning to drink my coffee. it was less than 10min to glacier and so quiet. if we stayed in the park it would have been noisy. only one day we got a couple of mosquito bites sitting outside but other than that they weren't bad at all. the tent sites looked nice, the cabin was nice. I definitely recommend staying here.
