Being in the resort business my whole life, I had a dream of developing this one of a kind property into something I could share with vacationers. To build something that has never been done. Camping with dogs!

Such a nice quiet place with plenty of room to run our dogs! Wide open spaces make it perfect for each watching the night sky!

My husband and I stayed in site 7 on Dan's Willow Acres in Park Rapids mn from Thursday to Sunday. Our lot was great! felt very private even though there are other campers around. We spent alot of time outside of our RV and didnt have a lot of bugs to deal with. We had our dog with us and he loved having a 1 acre lot to play on. We will be back for sure!

Private but open spaces

We had a WONDERFUL stay! We will definitely be back. Loved the proximity to the bike trails, the cute little surrounding towns, and the fall festival.

Great, private setting!

Great quiet campground. We stayed for 3 nights and only saw one other person the entire time. Big, private sites! A few deer even graced us with their presence one morning. We’d love to come back!

Nice and quiet

Full hook ups $35 you can’t beat it. Very quiet location everybody else in the area kept to themselves. Town is only 6 miles away makes it convenient to go to the grocery store. Very cute novelty shops and boutiques along the main street of town. Lots of lakes to go fishing if that’s what you’re into.

When it says one acre lot I thought it would be more secluded. The hook ups are close to the road, could see everybody that drove by. A lot of dirt and no shade. It was pretty quiet and close to town.

Secluded, peace and quiet!

This is a brand new campground. We were the first ones to camp here! Dan was out of town during our stay, but his mom stopped by and greeted us and let us know we were the first guests. If you are looking for lots of people, a pool, game room, etc... this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful, secluded from the other sites in the campground, this is the place to go. Full hookups were wonderful and new and the site was level. The ground here is sandy and required 4 wheel drive to get out of our spot. We stayed in spot #4. Other spots wouldn't require an uphill exit and would likely not need 4WD. Fire pits at all sites. Lots of deer tracks around the area and we even seen a deer at sunset just a few yards from us. The trees are medium size and provide privacy between the 4 sites. There is no Wifi and Verizon data service is pretty weak, but usable. This was a great location for our visit to Itasca State park and shopping in Park Rapids. The airport is close by, so you will hear some planes, but nothing to worry about. There is a state highway to the south, but you are far enough away that the traffic isn't noticeable inside the RV. Picnic table available at each site and trash bins near the exit. This is a great place if you want peace and quiet. We definitely enjoyed the stay! Best of luck with your new campground Dan!
