Our property is 60 acres of idyllic Pacific Northwest wilderness. Located just a few miles from the Columbia river, enjoy a private, serene valley all to yourself! There are many trails and forest to explore, along with a creek running through the property to cool off in during the summer. You might even be lucky enough to glimpse our local herd of elk that calls our small valley home, along with an assortment of other critters as well. FYI: There is a dog that lives on the property. While the sites are situated quite far from the house, he may visit. He is not dangerous and is very friendly. He loves people and other dogs. His name is Cooper.

Duck Pond South
Lovely camp site
We enjoyed our night tent camping at duck pond south. We appreciated the composting toilet as it smells so much better than pit toilets we often use when camping. Luckily we had some friends who arrived at another site the night before and they showed us where to go when we got there. The signage was a bit small from the road. Our trip got cut short for personal reasons but we would love the opportunity to visit again.

Creekside
Loved this site!
Creekside was wonderful! All the sites were private and far enough away from each other. We loved having the creek to escape to during the heat of the day. The creek was really perfection. Be prepared for not much shade in the morning/early afternoon. Which was not too big of a deal because we had a canopy and could hang out in the woods where it was cooler. The compost toilet was clean and well stocked. The firewood was a huge bonus too. I didn't have cell reception out here but that was totally fine as it was a great opportunity to relax and unplug. Great star gazing out here. I would love to go back out during a meteor shower.

End of the Valley
This site is really magical! Trail to a small creek is adjacent to the site, which our dog loved. The site itself is small was plenty of room for our party and very private. Beautiful wildflowers, birds singing all day, and even spotted bats swooping above us in the late evening. Shade for most of the day in the summer, aside from around 11-2/3, which is when we went swimming at the nearby Vista Park. The only way to make it better is more signage when you enter the property (there is a Hipcamp sign when you turn off the main road, but none at the entrance to the property - just no trespassing signs). Would love to come stay again!

Duck Pond North
Private oasis
Beautiful property, site felt very private, the outhouse was one of the best I’ve ever used. I will definitely look into coming back here.

Duck Pond North
Will absolutely be booking again! Camping on Kyle’s land was enchanting. The valley is truly is a wonder to behold. Entering the property was a lot of fun because it felt like a camping speakeasy. So there was no worry of running into outsiders. No matter what site you end up on in the valley, you hear the babbling Creek. My family and I loved the composting toilet. And the provided reading material. We loved exploring and taking in all of the wildflowers and berries while at night stargazing. The mornings were refreshing as when the sun set. The humbleness of the land was everything. We reluctantly left a day early due to extreme hot weather. The site we stayed at Duck Pond North did not offer much reprieve from the sun even if it was possible to shade the entire site. So be sure to prepare for weather in July and August. Loved the site but will be trying for the End Of The Valley Site when returning during the intense months. Despite that, this is my first and favorite hipcamp booking! Other locations have big shoes to fill!
