Welcome to Our Farm and the Acorn Market! Our family has been farming here in Whatcom County for over a decade, raising pasture-based poultry and partnering with other local farmers to bring together the very best of our region’s meats, eggs, honey, produce, and specialty foods. What began as a small flock of laying hens has grown into a diversified farm and market that connects our community with high-quality, locally raised food. When you visit, we hope you feel both at home and inspired. Guests are welcome to stretch their legs, enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere, and browse our on-farm store, the Acorn Market. Inside, you’ll find a rotating selection of local meats, eggs, cheeses, honey, kombucha, seasonal produce, baked goods, and more. Many of these products come directly from our farm or trusted nearby producers—so every purchase truly supports local agriculture. We see Hipcamp guests as part of our extended farm family—people who want to slow down for an evening, enjoy the quiet of the countryside, and leave with a taste of what makes this region so special. Whether you’re picking up farm-fresh food for your journey, meeting our animals from a distance, or simply watching the sunset from your rig, we want your stay to be restful, safe, and memorable.Guests will have a spacious gravel parking area in front of our farmhouse, nestled against the hillside with easy access for RVs, vans, or small trailers. The site offers 30-amp power and water hookup upon request, along with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful farm setting. You’ll have access to our on-farm store, Acorn Market, where you can browse and purchase local meats, eggs, cheeses, honey, kombucha, baked goods, and more from our farm and other nearby producers. It’s a great way to stock up on fresh local food for your travels. Guests are welcome to take a short stroll around the parking area and enjoy the open views of our farm and surrounding countryside. For safety, please stay within the designated guest areas, as this is a working farm with animals and equipment in use. Fires are allowed in the designated fire ring or your own approved fire device, and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the parking area. This spot is perfect for travelers who enjoy peaceful rural surroundings, great local food, and a convenient overnight stay close to Ferndale and Bellingham.
