Port Townsend is a working port and the beginning of the 130 mile Olympic Discovery Trail. Catch the Redhead foot ferry to Friday Harbor and whale watch along the way. There are over 50 restaurants in the area to choose from. Many with live music. The annual Steampunk Festival is in mid-June Kayak rentals on Water Street. Skate park on Monroe Street. Historic Fort Warden has pre WW1 bunkers. Also the site of Centrum’s Blues , Jazz, Fiddle tunes and Writer’s Workshop Festivals.A level pad in a clearing in a quiet residential neighborhood. About half an acre total. Located 6 miles South of Victorian Port Townsend. Bordered with madronas firs and wild Rhodies it overlooks a small clover patch frequented by does with their fauns and rabbits. Full hookups, water, sewer, power (20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp) Most of Old Port Townsend was built in the 1880’s. Home of the Wooden Boat Festival mid-September. Fort Warden hosts annual Fiddle-tunes, Blues, and Jazz Festivals. The Thing in early September. Abundant choice of restaurants in the area to choose from, many with live music. Talented buskers entertain on several downtown locations. The old Rose Theater has three auditoriums with eclectic movie choices. Both kayaks and electric bikes are available for rental. Being the northwest, many good coffee houses. Both electric bikes and kayaks available for rent. 35 minutes from Sequim’s Lavender Festival in July, a bit over an hour to Hurricane Ridge.

Day trips around Port Townsend

This RV spot is right off a major state highway and about 15 minutes to Port Townsend and 20 minutes to Fort Worden. Jaime greeted us and was very helpful with answering questions about local nature and walking trails. The site has almost new safe electrical connections/hookups well protected from weather. The frost proof city water hydrant was in great condition and did not leak. Quite site without much local traffic. The sewer connection worked well as well. Highly recommend.

Great hosts!

We had a fantastic time in Port Townsend! Jaime was an incredible host, welcoming and very accommodating. Easy ingress and egress for our 26’ travel trailer. Everything we needed right on the site and ready to go. Only bummer was not being able to stay longer!

sweet neighbhood nook!

Jaime's spot in this sweet beautiful neighborhood was so lovely, and Jaime was an awesome attentive host. i'd definitely stay again when in the area.
