Very good communication and a great little spot. The location is close to a lot of wonderful local parks (and Bellingham) and would be a good jumping off point for the North Cascades. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Our site was lovely, and the fire pits are some of the nicest we’ve seen. The porta-johns were a short walk from our site (Malibu) and were clean and well maintained. You can hear I-5 a bit, but honestly after about five minutes it fades away and we didn’t notice it at all for the rest of our stay. Nice little fountain and pond on the property, too. We’ll definitely be back next season.

Site 4- MALIBU
I enjoyed a peaceful two-night solo camping trip. Despite the rain and wind, which I actually love, it was a truly heavenly experience. This was my fifth time camping at this location, but my first without my fiancé. It's always my favorite place to escape.

SITE 6- KOI
We came down for a weekend of mountain biking at Galbraith and were looking for somewhere to camp that was nearby and wouldn't break the bank and this was the perfect spot. The site (#6, Koi) was clean, private and spacious with a huge firepit. The complimentary wood bundle was a nice touch. The fountain in the Koi pond provides really nice white noise that muffles the sound of the highway and other campers. We both remarked that the bathrooms were the cleanest portapotties we had ever used, haha. It's an 8min drive from Galbraith so great for bikers, would recommend.

Very responsive hosts. We really enjoyed our visit. We were there on a quiet weekend. There are 3 RV sites and we were by ourselves so it may be a different feel if all the sites are full as they are side by side out in the open. You hear the din of the freeway but it's not even as loud as I recall anytime I've stayed next to the ocean. This would actually be an even better place if you tent camp as those sites are private and deeper in the woods. Over all we got exactly what we were looking for. Brought our bikes and it's an easy flat ride around lake Satish with very little traffic. We would for sure recommend staying here for a night or two if you are traveling through to Canada or something like that. We live local and just wanted a quick weekend get away that wasn't far from home. This site fit the bill perfectly.

We loved our cozy spot! No bees for us, just some unique slugs. We enjoyed our morning views of the mountains and walking the grounds with our pup showed the beauty of each site. They have a great place here.

Very nice and quiet. Everything I needed for a perfect trip. Lake Padden is very close. Wish I had brought my kayak. They have an REI 15 min away if you forgot anything.

The camp host was very hospitable and allowed us to move campsites because we had two cars and the Kubota is best with just one car/truck. We stayed in the Koi spot.
There is a pond and a water fountain in the pond that adds nice background ambiance and helped put us right to sleep. There is wood to purchase, clean porta potties, potable water and a couple outlets by the bathrooms to charge small devices.
Lovely and well done Hip Camp.
If you are in Bellingham to mountain bike then this is the spot to camp! You are about 10 minutes from Transition Outpost and the trailhead/main parking lot of Galbraith mountain bike system.
We will definitely be back!!

Overall we had a great time. But we did feel that the sites were small and too close to each other. Easily we could hear neighboring site conversations. There was not a tent pad, it would be nice to have dedicated tent pads. The fire pit was the most amazing ever! Very cool for safety and functionality. The pond has a fountain which is nice background noise but still there is a constant buzz from traffic on I-5.

High Bluff was a beautiful setting! The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. We reserved an RV site while dropping our son at WWU. It was 15 minutes from the university. We highly recommend!

Nice flat camp spot for my van. Lots of proactive upfront communication made finding the site easy. Convenient location to get into Bellingham and access the mountain bike trails. Facilities provided were clean.

In general, it was an okay spot. A lack of shade when hot was a bummer. The lack of space between RV sites was noticeable when the spot next to us filled up with 3 cars and numerous tents. I also felt it was overpriced.

Very easy to find and close to the highways! Clean, level, nicely spaced spots with all amenities as described. Perfect for a night passing through or to stay and visit the area. I would definitely book this stay again!

Malibu was beautiful! You don’t get as much privacy if someone is camping at summer but it is better than other places. Regardless, we had a ton of fun and will be back!

The three RV spots with full hook ups are great. You could back in with plenty of space. The outhouse has kept clean and they check it daily. They left a bundle of wood as promised and delivered our ordered eggs when we arrived. The only thing I would say about this spot is that it’s just that a parking spot we didn’t get any. There were no trees nothing for shelter fire pit, which is great for the night is very close to Lake. However, the lake was closed for some renovations so we had to find another close by if you stay up in the wooded area where the trees are it would be great, but we cannot with our RV.

The site was very conveniently located to the Galbraith mountain bike trails that we came to Bellingham to ride. So location was great. And the property was clean and well laid out. Very comfortable.

Perfect spot for our Van! Nice, private and nestled in the forest. All of the sites look great A it would be hard to choose which one to pick next time. I would definitely recommend trying out this camping spot. Great hosts too! Thank you to Ryan and Noemi!

Fantastic campground in general! We stayed in Monte with our Tab400 and it was perfect! Bathroom facilities were clean, fresh water was close and it was in a great location. We fished in whatcom lake and Deception pass, and visited the many coffee shops in Bellingham! Our grandkids loved the blackberries and the brown slugs. We will definitely be back!

Ryan and Noemi's property is amazing! The campsites are all in a lush forest and they even have their own private hiking trail. Every camp comes with a fire pit and wood. We also got a dozen eggs which made for a great breakfast. Ryan and Noemi were super responsive and helpful!

I loved camping on Sarah's property. Beautiful sites, fresh eggs (I added extra), and great slow burning firewood. What a phenomenonal experience. Our host was equally as lovely when she delivered the eggs.
