Sweet lil spot really close to town but with the vibe of being out in the woods.
The bathroom is an awesome amenity to have. No visibility between tent site and yurt site. Definitely a perfect little spot for the best of both worlds.

Joshua's land gives you the feeling of being tucked away in nature, yet you're still close to easy groceries and lots of activities. Site was clean & spacious. Joshua was easy to communicate with, and he responded quickly to questions.
Joshua had great communication and was very kind! He gave us clear instructions on how to get to our site and was quick to answer and questions we had.

We absolutely loved the area and the yurt. It was so nice to be a little out of town but still feel like we were in Secluded getaway for the weekend. Everything was really easy to understand and laid out well when we got there. Definitely cannot recommend this spot enough!
Incredible tent location next to a yurt both were very private and would def book again.
The bathroom shed had toilet paper, so we didn't need to use ours, and the tent location had a trash can with a trash bag, so we didn't need to use ours.
A cool feature was that the ground of the tent location was sand, so the stakes went right in without a mallet. Amazing attention to detail when creating this place.
There is so many good things tot alk about this place. If you are interested check it out. Only thing I would say is that its next to the airport so you will hear planes which was minor, also fred Myer is 5 mins away so if you forgot anything you can just pop up there and buy your camp supplies and food there!
The tent site was very well set up and maintained. There was plenty of fire wood and kindling prepared and the space felt private without being too far of a walk. The composting bathroom worked well for us, just be careful of the muddy area near the entrance! The parking and site were easy to find.

Really beautiful walk-in camping spot, especially this late in the season, such a treat to be outside with the leaves falling around you. Cool little cedar out house with a compost toilet.
The yurt was so cozy and the area was secluded which made it easy to relax. The amenities such as a solar shower, grill and compostable toilet area with a pump sink is perfect for those who are not so comfortable with tent camping. The yurt is on the smaller side but it was enough room for my partner, myself and our pups! We enjoyed coming back to this area after exploring Bellingham and going for a swim at the nearby lakes. The directions were clear and we would definitely stay again :)
Lovely yurt stay! Peaceful and nestled in the trees, while also a perfect home base for getting to downtown Bellingham, WWU, and the beautiful surrounding area. Everything from the homey interior, solar shower, cozy little bathroom, and spacious deck made for a comfortable couple of nights. Joshua was so kind and extremely responsive…even promptly mailed back a beloved stuffie left behind!
Sweet little hidden gem. Enjoyed the lush and green spot.

Great site, very secluded even though it’s not far off a main road. Unlimited firewood was great. Yellow jackets and mosquitos were up in our business for a lot of the time though.
Very peaceful. Comfy for the dogs and I.
Good cell service.

Perfect little hidden oasis in a beautiful wooded area, just a few minutes drive outside of Bellingam. The cedar glamp outhouse was a bonus and quite nice to have at camp. Easy to find.
Wanted the feel of a weekend away with the convenience of being near town, and this was perfect! Nicely tucked in the woods- there were people staying in the yurt around the corner and we didn't see or hear them once, so we felt very private. Easy to find/park, cute bathroom, quality table and firepit. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the yurt. It was very cozy and the perfect size for two people. Felt secluded while still being very close to attractions in Bellingham. Joshua provided helpful instructions prior to our arrival, and was very responsive when we had an issue with the propane heater during our stay.
(if planning to stay here in the winter, know that the yurt will still be quite cold even with the heater, so come prepared with extra layers and blankets!)
We felt a little disappointed-the yurt photos made it seem larger and more spacious than it actually was. The pull out couch mattress wasn’t very comfortable-it felt uneven in places. The yurt’s description was accurate-it said the heater shouldn’t be used when the bed was pulled out. There was no other provision for heating the yurt during the night. We got very cold-especially in the early hours of the morning. When it was freezing, we got out of bed, put our jackets on, folded the couch mattress away and then we’re able to huddle next to the heater. It would have been nice to have a down alternative comforter rather than the comforter that was provided. After spending an uncomfortable night we decided to only stay one night and left early the next morning. The weather at the end of October was cold and damp and we felt our experience was more rustic than what I would normally expect of a ‘glamping’ designation.
The tent was spacious and did a very good job in the rain. The grounds were tidy and a cute path wound its way to the site. Unlimited fire wood was a great plus to use in the nice fire pit. It felt like we were extremely remote but we're only a few minutes from town. I would definitely recommend this property. Saw the inside of the Yert on the way out and it was very well kept, quaint and romantic looking.

Great place, super cute and private. Would definitely stay again. One note, there is a short walkway down to the yurt so bringing a cart would make things a little easier to unload.
Our first yurt experience ever, and it was a winner. What a lovely spot, in a completely private grove of trees. The yurt was so pretty and well-organized, with a queen-size bed and everything we needed- towels, dishes, coffee kettle with French press, lantern, and firewood. We cooked on the propane grill, and spent every evening beside our personal fire ring…with s’mores! The outdoor solar shower was beautifully designed and part of the fun experience. The separate cedar hut with composting toilet was very clean. Thanks to Joshua for being a friendly and responsive host.

Great camping site! Felt private, camping supplies provided was a plus. Only thing to note, there was also a leak in the shower bag for the solar shower, but we were still able to take showers. Thank you so much for a rejuvenating weekend!
Very nice place to stay. Very cozy and comfortable. Yurt was adorable. Little issue with the bathroom. But workable. Had a great time and will book again.

I had a wonderful time at Hideaway! Very cozy and it had everything I needed. Joshua was amazing and always responded quickly whenever I messaged him. He really went above and beyond making it super easy to get there and even had a short welcome packet explaining how everything on site worked. Would definitely recommend!

Such a fun spot just outside of Bellingham!
Loved the yurt and the patio accompanied by it. Cleanest compostable toilet and bathroom we’ve ever used!
We usually travel with our pup but we flew to the pnw thus he wasn’t with us on this trip but would love to bring him back here because of the pet friendly additions of the yurt!

Awesome secluded spot, close enough to Bellingham to explore but far away at night to sit by the fire and wake up to birds. Us and our pups had a great time!
We had an amazing glamping experience! The tent was cozy, had a very comfortable bed, and even a basket of goodies for pets. There was a bbq grill, and had all the cooking utensils you would need. The entire set-up was thoughtful and attention-to-detail. It was easy to communicate with Josh. We would love to be back again.
