Perfect place for camping! This was our 2nd time here this year with our family and we all just had so much fun. We book both sites for extra space and privacy. We will be back for sure!

Our 2nd time back this year with our family and were still very pleased with the views, space, and service. We will definitely be back. This time the salmon were spawning, so we got to see a lot of fish on the river. Very fun to watch at night.

Wonderful, tucked away nook to tent camp in. The sand pad was perfect for my tent and the fire pit is amazing. The bathroom was spotless.

Beautiful, spacious and private spot! Only one other Hipcamp spot on the whole property! Quick walk to the river. Very quiet. One large sandy tent spot otherwise all gravel so glad we only had one tent. Will definitely stay here again!!

This spot is amazing! I will certainly be coming back here. You have beautiful views of the mountains and it feels completely private! The second campsite is up its own little road so you have a very secluded little spot to yourself. There are trails that follow the riverside. My pup and I really enjoyed our stay - lots of running down the beach and enjoying the sunset after a day full of exploring around Bellingham and Chuckanut! Highly recommend this spot.

Great spot to spend time. Tent pad with sand was comfortable, the site was spacious with a picnic table and fire pit and plenty of room for parking. We especially enjoyed buying veggies and eggs from the farm stand and a swim in the peaceful and private river area. Great communication and directions from the host. Will return.

LOVED camping here and look forward to coming back next summer. Bathroom was super clean as was the campsite. Road noise all night so something to be aware of if you are sensitive to/bothered by that. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our third time staying at Mama's. It's an annual tradition as we go to the Subdued String Band Festival. We love the access to the river and the quiet. The potty is so handy and always clean. Will try to come back again next year.

Great river bank area. With only two campsites, and nobody in the other one, we had the river to ourselves. The trail had huge blackberries that were delicious too.

This was the best place ever!
We booked both camp spots, and each had total privacy. Each campsite also had its own private walkway to the beach area, which eventually joins into one path that leads to the public beach shared by both campsites. If you want complete privacy, I recommend renting both spots at the same time.
There are plenty of random trails to explore. You can even let your dog run loose — we brought our non-friendly dog along with two small ones and had no issues or unexpected visitors. We were also able to fit our 24 ft. camper and SUV while still hooked up.
For anyone with a tall vehicle: the main road to the campground has a train bridge with a clearance of only 10'5". To avoid issues, take the driveway just before the farm with the flag and house number, go under that train bridge, and turn right. This will bring you back to the original train bridge but on the opposite side. There’s also a large turnaround area at the end of rd.
The beach was amazing, with a wonderful swimming hole that was very safe for our 3.5-year-old kids — and beyond the swim hole, the water stays shallow enough for safe play.
We highly recommend either site, or both, to anyone looking for something far better than a typical campground.

What an absolutely perfect spot to spend a summer day. The camp spot was perfect and the peaceful river access was incredible. We couldn't have been more pleased.

This new campsite is very comfortable and secluded. Surrounded by trees, nice tent spot, attractive firepit. Has trash can right there. Clean porta-potty around the corner. You can drive your car right up to your tent spot. River is a short walk through the woods. I rented spots 1 and 2 together so that my sisters could camp with us. Delightful time together, secluded from any other campers, and our own exclusive access to the South Fork - our beloved river. (The swimming hole is fantastic.)

We've stayed twice so far, and it's definitely a great spot to spend a few days solo or with a group. We had room for our 19 ft RV and also a full size tent. The fire pit was perfect and the very clean porta potty was a pleasant bonus. It's a quick walk through the woods to the water which was very private and gave the dogs a chance to run around. There's also some of best skipping rocks we'd ever seen!
As the host mentioned, you do get the occasional "farm smell", but that's to be expected. It changes with the wind and was rarely, if ever, noticeable. Sitting around the fire at night gazing at the stars while listening to the coyotes and frogs was my 2 kids favorite part by far. -We'll definitely be back!

Great location to camp! River is a short walk away and a fun place to relax. Camp area is always clean and plenty of shade. It is a farm so there was sounds and smells, but we’re ok with that!

We had a great stay and spent the majority of the time on the river! The site was secluded with views of mountains and farm fields. The river was peaceful and relaxing and a short walk from camp. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and enjoyable spot!
Quick walk to the river.
2 small or 1 larger tent will fit on tent pad-- if you have more tents bring tarp or other sturdy ground cover for gravel surfaces.
As they say in the site info no potable water so bring plenty! And being near water bring your bug repellent also.
I would definitely stay again :)

It wa a quite (except for the one train my daughter noted when she went to bed) little site tucked in to the trees adj to a large open corn field with great views of the snowy mountains. Clean Restroom and the host Matt stopped by as we were Packing up just to make sure we had a good stay.

The view from the campsite was stunning and the river access was just an easy walk away. Mamas Garden had great local products. We bought steak to cook over the fire one of the nights. Fantastic and very peaceful stay. Would definitely go back!

Always love returning to Mamma's Garden Hip Camp. Site 2 is now operating- and the campers over there were very pleasant. We're coming again next month!
Matthew & team keep the outhouse well maintained as well as the road and the tent spaces. They're On It!

The property is beautiful. So peaceful. One minute walk to the beach at the river. Matthew is super nice and helpful. The site was gravel and clean. Thank you for the firewood bundle. The port-o-potty was like brand new. We had a truck and camper and fit perfectly.

We stayed at site #2 and loved it! It was private with close access to the river. Beautiful river space to hang out and walk/wade, and the Hipcamp is set up with a fire pit and picnic table which makes for very convenient hangout spot. We will definitely be back soon!

Tent and van camping was awesome! There is a nice raised pad for one good size tent or two smaller ones which was perfect for a wet fall camp. Great directions, and signs. Trail access to the river was really cool, with all the fall rain the river was raging. We will definitely call here again.
