We had a wonderful time camping on Rachel’s farm. There was plenty of space to spread out, lots of flat ground for tents, and my young child especially loved spending time with the animals. One thing to keep in mind: with animals nearby, you may hear roosters at all hours. This might not be ideal for everyone, so it’s worth noting.

Bode Campsite
Pros: The site is lovely, spacious, and well-equipped. We appreciated the fire pit, big tables, and huge trees (plenty of shade!). We enjoyed visits from the sweet resident cat and cow. The provided porta potty was clean and had plenty of TP. There's plenty of flat, shady ground for pitching tents. Rachel was very kind and quick to respond to my questions through the app!
Cons: When we arrived, the trash can was overflowing and the fire pit was full of cigarette butts. There were small bits of trash scattered around the site. The hand sanitizer in the toilet ran out on the second day. We were all confused at first about where to park (but figured it out quickly). There was often someone hanging around directly adjacent to the site, which was unexpected (though they were quiet and out of the way). The rooster crowed very early in the morning—bring earplugs!
All told, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the site to other large groups. :)

We just spent three lovely nights at Bode Farm. The property is spacious but private and intimate, plenty of room for activities and keeping the kids busy. The fire pit is nice and big, the farm animals are nearby and some of them will mosey over occasionally. The small farm experience is really charming, all the animals and their stories are sweet and fun. A fresh portajohn was a bonus! Thanks Rachel and Andy!

Exactly what we were looking for! Complete privacy in a safe place! Love the animals on sure, particularly the two kitties who pretty much stayed with us the whole time :) Rachel and Andy are excellent hosts, we will definitely return!

We recently hosted a friend's 40th birthday at Rachel’s property and had an amazing time. The kids were entertained with a farm tour that included meeting various animals, while the adults enjoyed activities like volleyball and horseshoes. The picturesque setting was perfect for our celebration, and the host, Rachel, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We highly recommend this site for a fun and memorable outdoor event.

Host was very nice and accommodating to us! Responded fast to messages as well. The property was very nice and we had an amazing time. Perfect for stargazing. The animals were awesome and the cats joined us for most of the stay which we loved. Would definitely go back!

A perfect place for a little camp out and fire. Lots of room that felt comfortable and private. The small farm experience was a lot of fun as well. Farm cats kept us company all day. Would recommend as for anyone who wants a low key camping experience.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Super private (only one site after all) and big enough for a large group. Nice mix of shade trees and sunny field. Pristine porta potty was a plus! We had 2 super friendly cats and a rooster come by for a visit. The property is adjacent to active blueberry fields, and it was harvesting time. We enjoyed watching the process. One of the harvest crew came over and insisted on giving us a bunch of freshly picked berries too! Close to stores, but still felt remote. Real small farm feel. We enjoyed visiting the farm animals too. Definitely on the list for another stay. The host was very responsive.

The location on their farm land was very private and had a little petting zoo. I saw the goats, chickens and a pig grazing the area between the house and the camp site, very beautiful. The site came with a private fireplace, picnic tables, hammock, horse shoe pits and a valley ball net and ball. I would highly recommend this camp spot on hipcamp.
