This is an extension of the Barn Valley Individual Site's Campground. See that page for additional information. Access is right off the Middle Fork road near the Teanaway community Forest. While heading north on Middle Fork road take a left onto a gravel road. Property will be immediately off to your right and visible. Bird houses line the property fences. Take the immediate next right following bird houses and fenceline to a green gate ( our home has a green metal roof). North and South Pastures can be used for up to 4 separate vehicles and their trailers. We recommend these sites ( #1 , north pasture and #2 south pasture) for folks with horses or groups, individuals welcome, but does not change the pricing (hipcamp isnt setup that way). Site 1 is about 1.5 acres, site 2 is two acres. Rules: keep all gates closed at all times (coming and going), especially the main entrance to keep free range cattle off the property and to keep your own animals separate from other campers. The main home is our house and also an airbnb when we are not there. Please respect that our/their use of the central property and park your vehicles within your campsite behind the gates and keep animals leashed if crossing this property to get to trails, water, or river. Potable water and a jug (if needed) are at the center of the 3 individual campsites. Pull up and push over hard on the pump and water will flow. Feel free to use the hose on the fenceline to take water to buckets for your larger animals, please put things back where you find them, these are shared resources. Quiet hours at sunset. This includes no generators. Please don't arrive after dark and disturb other guests. This place is has wonderful star gazing, bird watching and is minutes away from thousands of acres of public trails. Enjoy your time. THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS and NO GARBAGE CANS. You MUST BE SELF CONTAINED. Public bathroom down by water access and Teanaway Forest first come first serve campgrounds. Animals not to be left unattended. Dogs welcome off leash at your site, horses welcome to graze. Property was a horse property for 25 years before we converted to campground.

Stargazing, Dog Fun, Wildlife
2023 Perseids, etc.: Great, open spot for watching Perseid meteor showers. We watched scads of them through the night. If host would be willing to turn off the outdoor lights, viewing would be even better. Happy, safe dog! The pastures have split-rail fencing plus wire fencing, so my dog could chase tennis balls! He checked the perimeter but couldn't find a way out. I kept a close watch, but I don't think there were foxtails. I'll check paws, ears, eyes, nostrils, and other sensitive spots now that we're home. Wildlife: Quiet setting crammed with wildlife. A marsh with attendant bird- and wildlife is within earshot. I needed to get home but would love to know for next time whether you can walk or drive there to bird (verb). Lots of owls!!! A herd of lovely, softly whistling elk. Tips: Come before dark, and keep a sharp eye out for deer and other critters on the main road! Young deer with their parent crossed in front of me on the way in and on the way out. Also, use navigation cues other than "a green gate." If you overshoot on the dirt road, you will find many green gates. BYO potty and large water containers (as host states). This site gets full sun, and dog and I needed lots of water. Soil is compacted; if you're over 50, you might want extra padding or a cot for sleeping under the stars.

Scenic and serene!
The north pasture was a great spot to tow our 26’ travel trailer (all spaces would’ve worked well for us). We enjoyed the peaceful quiet (minimal traffic noise), beautiful sunsets, and ample sun for our solar panels. The area is picturesque and the host responded quickly to any messages. We would camp here again and recommend this place to other travelers. AT&T service is weak but Starlink comes in perfectly.
