The property is freaking amazing. It's beauiful, right on the river, and extremely well kept. The host, Dave and Holly are very accommodating. We highly recommend this spot, and will definitely be back!

What an honor it was to stay here on Hollys Ohio River Paradise Pavilion! This place is gorgeous & pictures simply don't do it justice! The Pavilion itself gave an extra cozy feel for an easy camp kitchen set up & area to hang out & stay dry when the weather just isn't cooperating. There was more than plenty of room to set up our tent, & even with a cabin just a short distance away & within site there was plenty of trees and natural cover to tuck away & not be seen if you want a more private feel (we had the property all to ourselves so that didn't matter much to us). There is a nice and clean outhouse to use as well! The campsite is just a short walk from the river with beautiful views of the river from the campsite area itself. The fire ring was large & could hold a good size fire that several people could sit around. It was just 2 of us & it was quiet & secluded but the area is large enough that it would be an amazing group camp site. We enjoyed watching the barges & there is a train but we maybe only heard it 3-5 times the whole weekened. If your going for the fishing come prepared because it's a harder area to fish unless your experienced. Luckily we had everything we needed & caught a couple blue cats & striped bass. We also enjoyed a variety of birds & listening to the owls at night. So you may ask, beautiful place with a view, fishing, wild life, and privacy. How could it be better. The answer is Holly. She is kind, helpful, responsive, and makes you feel at home!

We had a great long weekend stay at Holly’s campsite from Thursday to Sunday. Holly was an excellent host with great communication leading up to our visit. She met us on arrival, helped us find a spot to park our smaller fifth wheel, and made sure we were settled in. The site was easy to navigate, and we fit with no problem. It was level and had good access to the river, which was beautiful. There were a couple of sandy spots along the riverbank that would have been perfect for swimming if the weather had been warmer. We wished we could have gotten the fifth wheel down to the lower area even closer to the river.
We were fortunate to be the only reservation during our stay. If the cabin or pavilion had been occupied, it might have felt less private, but for us, it was peaceful. One thing we learned is that this location is dog-friendly, and our daughter is quite nervous around dogs. Holly was very understanding and kept her dogs on a leash, which made a big difference in allowing our daughter to relax.
Holly also brought us water, and the portable fire pit worked great. We enjoyed watching the barges on the river and hearing the occasional train in the distance. The sky was clear, and without any light pollution, the stargazing was incredible.
The only downside was the neighboring property. They were having a party with loud music and off-road vehicles. The revving engines went on all evening Friday and didn’t stop until afte

This is such a beautiful place to curl up around a campfire! You can watch the boats and barges go by on the river and look up at a sky full of stars at night. Dave was great, he came to check on us once to be sure we got everything we needed and see what he could do to help. He let us know to contact him if we needed anything.
Our dog was able to run free, feeling like she was protecting us from unseen wild animals! I mean you never know when a squirrel might come after us, right? We were in a campervan at the Rustic Cabin site, and it was great talking while sitting on the porch, I think we'll try the Pavillion spot next time!

Primative Riverside camping
It was love at first sight for each of us who stayed at the primitive camp for a long weekend. The view of the river is exceptional, unadulterated by lights or houses. The stars at night are almost hypnotic and we saw many shooters! We woke up to a beautiful fog on the river and enjoyed watching it burn off as the barges went by. The site is shady and cool in the morning and provides a beautiful view of sunset. Plenty of room for multiple dogs to run and swim.
Holly and her husband are very kind and gracious hosts. The provided water was very convenient, and we enjoyed chatting about the prehistoric earthworks in the area and artifact hunting.
Do not hesitate on this one, we can't wait to come back!

Loved tent camping on the Ohio river! It was a beautiful area, easy access to the river. The pavilion was nice for eating and hanging out and the outhouse was a nice bonus! Overall it was a nice experience being our first time camping with a child.

Holly's oasis was close to edge of Appalachia preserve and Shawnee State park for an action packed weekend of hiking. We look forward to coming back and checking out some of the trails she reccomended! The site was clean and quiet. It was fun to stay so close to the ohio river! The stars are amazing. There were many spots to choose from for dispersed/primitive camping. There was an outhouse on site behind one of the cabins we were able to use. Holly was welcoming, she even set up the fire ring with dry wood for our arrival after a rainy day!

This is place is a precious jewel. The fact that Holly shares it is a gift. It deserves all of the respect in the world. If you decide to come, understand that you must take care of it. Please pack it out if you bring it in.

10000/10 recommend! We could not have asked for a better experience and are already planning another trip back! The entire property is absolutely breathtaking, and Holly is an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond. The cabin is secluded with plenty of woods behind you to hang a hammock. Just a couple steps away is the River with an easy load in for your kayaks and two small beach areas to hang or go fishing. The cabin is just perfect for a solo traveler or couple, with just enough room to lay a dog bed on the floor. The grass well kept and bugs minimal. There’s a fire pit and cozy porch chairs perfect for reading a book and watching the boats go by, we simply cannot get over how serene this place. Thank you Holly for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we have already shared your listing with multiple friends so they can go and enjoy it too! Can’t wait to see you again soon!

The spot was amazing, it’s a great place to get away for a couple days and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Amazing off the grid camping experience. Camping space was massive. The canopy area was very large, variety of usable tables purposefully decorated about, single propane burner, larger width seat and top picnic table and lots of seating. The private beach was more than expected. Our 2 young daughters were able to run around by themselves safely. We fished and even caught bass. We used tubes in the little lagoon off the beach. The current even kept our tubes close to shore. Outhouse was clean and no bugs scared any of us when used. The fire pit was giant and abundant drift was available on the beach and Holly had a great bundle ready to burn. All grass was cut before we arrived and bugs were minimal, even the path to the river was cut down well for our walking. Host Holly was on the premises 90% of our stay but stayed in her living area at the front of the property mostly. A few hours after our arrival she greeted us warmly but briefly. The only other time we saw her, I called her from Shawnee State Park as we were having car problems. Holly totally saved the day and picked us up bringing us back to camp. You can’t beat the privacy here. Our large dog barks like crazy camping at traditional parks but because you’re so isolated there was nothing to react to.

Very beautiful place and super private! We stayed at the pavilion and were able to utilize the 2 kayaks provided and it truly was a wonderful place to stay. The river was beautiful and getting to see and hear all the barges pass by was awesome! The kids loved the big grassy area to play in as well swimming. I would definitely recommend staying here as it was lovely❤️

Our host was so polite with wonderful communication. The land is pristine, it is clean and right on the river. I've camped all over in the area and this is now my favorite spot.

We had such a great time! The kids swam and floated in tubes as we watched the sunset, rode bikes, and roasted marshmallows. We slept outside under the stars and watched the strawberry moon! Very peaceful excellent private property! We will return!

Really great place to camp and paddle. Very private and clean. The pavilion was useful and well equipped. The gas cooking station was a nice surprise and added ease to our experience.
Our favorite thing was access to river! We were able to jump on our boards and go out anytime.

This is a great, secluded, peaceful oasis. Thank you for sharing your property with us! The campsite is clean and well maintained with plenty of space to enjoy whatever activities you have in mind! We kayaked and paddled boarded on the Ohio river with an easy launch spot and access to the water. The water was as calm as I have seen any body of water one day and was great for paddle boarding. The next day was windy and there was lots of movement on the water which made for a nice kayaking experience. Responsive and helpful hosts and the certainly let us have our privacy!
I will definitely be back - hopefully next time for a bit longer!

10 out of 10 it is a must book beautiful property very out of the way and secluded. The host is a joy to talk to and readily available to help. My family and I had a wonderful time and a all needed reset from the hustle of everyday life. There is a lot of places within 30 to 40 minutes to see and walk around definitely a must to try out we will be booking again thank you again Holly and Dave

Great stay at the Ohio River Paradise! It is a lovely, remote site that is very well maintained. The site is right on the Ohio River with a pavilion that is convenient for all types of weather and groups! We loved just sitting back and listening to all of the birds!

Rustic Riverview cabin
We loved our stay at the rustic cabin on the Ohio River. It was very peaceful. There was a nice covered porch to sit in out of the rain, and it was nice to glamp inside that night too. We saw owls and lightning bugs, and watched barges and trains go by. There was also a huge grassy area, great for kids and dogs to play. We hope to be back!

It was so great to stay at the pavilion area! Holly was very welcoming and provided an amazing spot for us! There was a nice outhouse that was clean, fresh drinking water, and an amazing view of the Ohio River. Lots of room for my dog to run loose too. We definitely will be back in the future!
