Hidden Woods-Pull or Back-In Site 4
We really enjoyed camping at Hidden Woods-maples, oaks, hickory, & not a dense understory, no poison ivy in the campsite area. We saw butterflies, a nickel sized toad, bats, a red tail hawk and heard coyotes both nights. The nightly katydid serenade blocked most traffic noise from nearby route 32. It’s basic camping-pack trash out, no table at site, adequate port-a-John, which worked fine for us. Good for a stop over or as a base for exploring the area. We hiked at Fort Hill and took the dogs to the beach at Rocky Fork State Park which is temporarily open to on leash dogs (likely to discourage a large population of geese)-at least that was our interpretation of the signage-off leash from Nov-May. We’d definitely stay at Hidden Woods again when we’re in the area! Sites 2-4 are about twice as far apart as average state park sites & 1 is closest to toilet & farthest from other sites.
Hidden Woods--Pull-Through #2
The camping area is very nice. Sites 2,3,4 are close to each other. Site 2 really only has 1 place to set a tent up and it does have a slight slope to it.

Beautiful nature and large camp sites. Please keep in mind, this is a primitive camp site... so if you want shower houses, electric hook up, etc. this is not the site for you. I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay... plan on camping here again!!!

Nice secluded quiet place..
PROS:!!! 2nd time I have been here. Nice wooded area. Very quiet. Nice little get away with lots of Maple trees. Rained a bit this morning and didn’t get wet. I will make this a frequent visit on my travels. Only a couple of sites so yo don’t have to deal with a regular campground.
Con: out house needs to be serviced but it is clean

We love staying in the Hidden Woods at Graceful Pastures! Our first night was blissfully quiet as there was a good breeze blowing thru the trees providing a "white noise". lol Very little breeze the second night so we got to hear the coyotes, rooster, distant dogs, cows, lots of birds and of course, the traffic on 32. With convenience comes compromise but it's totally worth it! Besides, the traffic dies down after a while. We had the whole woods to ourselves this trip - even better! We love this place and will come back again. It's our basecamp for exploring Edge of Appalachia and Chapparale Nature Preserve.

First HipCamp experience was nice
Nice little patch of woods with towering trees and just the right amount of dappled sunlight shade. No star gazing here as the tree canopy blocks most of the sky. Good road in and no mud issues. All four sites were occupied the first night, the second I had the camp to myself. Only about a half mile from a busy four lane and plenty of local traffic in and out of the lane to the farm house but neither should be a real issue unless you really need quiet. Farmer John drove through and checked on me the second day and we had a nice conversation. This is a no frills location, only a portajohn and access to potable water but a good, safe spot to stay for a night or so.

2nd time here. Hosts are friendly. Area was clean. Firewood was good quality too, with smaller pieces to help get it going. My daughter really appreciated having the outhouse handy too! Sitting log was still in good shape, having it arch off the ground really helps reduce bugs. Fire pit was fine but could benefit from having something to prop up a grill grate on for cooking, perhaps some stones or something.

Directions were super clear, exactly what I was looking for when driving through.
A little close to the road but I had no issues with the noise.

We had a lovely time staying the night here. There was plenty of wood to burn and no one else around. Easy to find and good for stars if it's not cloudy. A much better experience than a crowded state park.

Won't Be Back
Liked the seting. Could definitely hear the highway. However the port-a-potty was filthy. It was completely full of spider webs which indicates that it was not cleaned before we arrive.
A couple webs would be understandable, but this was a lot more than a few. It was nearly full and someone before our arrival threw a bag of garbage in it. My husband spent close to an hour cleaning it. When I told the hostess she stated that my standard was higher than hers, she thought it was clean And standards are subjective. We do have photos of it prior to cleaning it. Prior to our arrival, the hostess was responsive and anwered our emails quickly. We found it was an okay experience except the condition of the toilet. We have stayed in other hipcamps with much cleaner facilities.

Stay
We had a great stay here! Kathleen was very kind and accommodating ! There was a provided grill, and the port a potty was stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. We were able to hang a hammock from the trees, and the bundles of wood provided were large. I would highly recommend this site.
