Beautiful woods nestled in the farmlands of Plain City, away from the noise of the city. A rustic cabin (formerly a grain storage barn) is nestled back in the neatly manicured grounds out of sight from any roads. you'll truly feel that you're away from everything! Just a few minutes from popular destinations, such as Der Dutchman restaurant, Yutzy's Farm Market and the Cheese House, to name a few!Come relax in the beautiful woods surrounded by Plain City's farmlands! This is a beautiful property with many mature trees, wildlife and a peaceful atmosphere. The rustic cabin, which used to be an old grain storage barn, is tucked backed in a cleared area out of sight from any roads. Electricity in the cabin allows for AC and a small fridge! This is a great spot to camp with a group of friends being very secluded and having lots of room to spread out and set ip your tents! Walk the trails through the wood, and keep your eyes open for deer! Take a bike ride to Yutzy's Farm Market, or go to Der Dutchman for dinner! You won't want to leave this place! Some of our amenities are as follows: -Refrigerator -Bottled drinking water -Keurig with K-Cups provided -Pop up shower tent -Primitive Outhouse -Running water -Electricity -Fire ring with grate for cooking -Roasting sticks -Mountain Pie irons -Firewood (first 10 pieces free, more available for purchase) P.S. We’ve greatly updated the cabin and some of the amenities since last year, so some of the pictures you’ll see in the listing from previous campers will be outdated.

Unique Gem!
I was traveling from NC to Michigan and stayed here on the trip up. I have 2 dogs and the property was PERFECT!! There are small trails mowed through the woods which they loved. The cabin is so comfortable and cute. There is a fridge and eating bar. There is a window air conditioner if it's warm. The outhouse is really nice! Seriously! After an 8 hour drive I sat on the front porch and just enjoyed the solitude. The host is incredibly responsive and welcoming. In my opinion this is so much better than a hotel and it will be my new layover location! My dogs and I loved it.

Happy Dog, Happy life
Overall my stay was excellent, both the dog and i had a great time. A few things to remember to bring along as i (wrongly) assumed they would be provided: Bring your own coffee mug, plates, amd silverware. The photos make it look like they are available but there were none there. There is a coffee maker though! Bring bedding. There was none available but there is a pretty comfly bed. Bring a headlamp or lantern as the outhouse is super clean but very dark. I would definitely recommend this spot. A bit pricey but overall worth it for the space for the pooch to run free.

Esther's Oasis
This was our third hipcamp experience and it was perfect! We had four adults, three kids (8, 10, and 11) and three dogs, and we tent camped for one night. The fire ring and grate were the best! Jeremiah supplied 10 logs and fire starting materials and had more logs to purchase but we had brought our own. It was so nice to be the only family there and not worried about our dogs bothering other groups at the site! They got to run around the site and were living their best lives! The site is far back from all roads and people, was very well maintained, and had great amenities including a nice out house, outdoor shower, picnic tables, chairs, cute lighting we turned on at night, and small house with electric and a refrigerator! It was truly perfect for our group and we’ll be back! Thank you Jeremiah!!!

Peaceful, Pet Friendly, Property!
My partner and I had a wonderful evening with our five dogs at the Converse Cabin! The property was full of beautiful, mature trees and such a peaceful energy. We used the fire pit to cook a great dinner and of course enjoyed the complimentary s’mores provided by the generous host. Jeremiah was fantastic to communicate with and extremely accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!
