Pictures can’t even do this place justice. It was truly one of the most beautiful places i’ve been. Lily was so helpful, and sweet! We highly recommend adding on the lobster dinner and enjoying it at sunset on the beach! We can’t wait to visit again.

Quiet Acadia Woods Near Ocean
This spot was lovely. With a short walk to the water, we got to spend some time in the woods as well as on the coast. Having portapotty access was nice, which was also a short walk from the site. The fire ring was in good condition with a swingout for cooking, the picnic table was very useful, and the provided chairs were a nice touch. The other sites on the property were not too close - the A frame is on the water, and the trailer is a bit inland, and the camping site we were at is a further walk up the hill so we didnt see our neighbors much unless they walked up to use the portapotty or leave in their cars.

Second time here and would come back again in a heartbeat! We loved sunset beach fires and watching the seals on the island - even got to see seal pups with their moms! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Our stay was wonderful! The wagon sits in view of a coastline that is equally beautiful in rain, fog, or sun—and we experienced all three. The kayak rental is well worth springing for if you can't bring your own. Waters this clean and clear are a dream to paddle in, and there's a lot of wildlife to see on and in them. Seals seem to be fairly common! Lush trails are a stone's throw from the site, so there's something for hikers, birders, and amateur mycologists, too. The owner was kind and attentive throughout our stay. We'll be back for sure!

Our stay at The Point Campground was absolutely wonderful! Tucked away just minutes from Acadia National Park, this spot is a peaceful, rustic retreat that lets you truly connect with nature. The location is perfect—close to amazing hikes, scenic coastal drives, and Bar Harbor, but still far enough removed to feel secluded and serene.
The campsites were spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of tree cover and privacy. We stayed in a tent site, and waking up surrounded by the sounds of the forest was the perfect way to start each day. While The Point doesn’t have showers, that’s part of its charm—it’s a true camping experience that encourages simplicity and being outdoors. There are clean restrooms, and everything else you need to be comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the wagon cabin! The view from the deck outside the cabin was a beautiful place to sit and relax or do a little yoga. Sunset was gorgeous and it was great to be able to bring our dog- who also had a great time! The location was close enough to make a day trip into Acadia, but provided the privacy that we were looking for in a campsite. Lily was an excellent host, she checked in throughout our stay and was very helpful in providing any information we needed. The Porto-potty was clean and easy to get to. We would love to visit again!!

This was the perfect place for us. Everything we needed; no unnecessary frills. Just a beautiful, quiet place with friendly hosts. The property and beach are so beautiful, we spent considerable time on our vacation just relaxing and exploring right there. We would definitely stay again.

I loved camping at Lily's. Waking up to the birds and the sound of the water was wonderful. The serenity surrounding the rustic camp is perfect.
It is an short walk to the camp site so bringing your gear, water and supplies was easy to do in multiple trips. Host gives you your privacy; which i feel is a bonus , but is easily attentive if one needs. I am looking forward to returning to this special place.

What a beautiful spot! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views, the sunshine, and having the cabin to refuge in as we were there on a particularly windy day!
The cabin was beautifully set-up as a peaceful retreat with chairs on the porch overlooking the ocean - which made a lovely sunset viewing spot. Lily made us feel super prepared with all of her instructions and was a warm & kind host. The cabin was the perfect spot for us, who usually do tent camping, but were a little nervous to do it so early in the season (April) with such unpredictable weather. We loved being able to enjoy nature, while still having the cabin-structure to relax in when it got a little too brisk/windy. We had an amazing stay and would hope to one day return!

Off-grid Oceanfront A-frame Cabin
This was the most unique and wonderful stay we’ve ever had. It felt private but wasn’t too far away from things we wanted to do. Lily is the most accommodating host and was a joy to meet. We will absolutely be back ❤️

Literally the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. we watched the sun and moon rise and set everyday. Water was clear and blue. The area we stayed at was private and never encountered anyone during our stay. Highly recommend!

No one would blame you for getting up with the sun and heading off to Mt. Desert Island for miles and miles of hiking and views, but you would be missing something special. Waking up with a cup of coffee by the water and preparing breakfast as the tide comes in felt just as significant. We couldn’t help but wake up slow throughout our stay, letting the rhythms of nature dictate our own. After all, the Schoodic area offers plenty of adventure for all speeds to occupy the afternoon. Whether you are staying in or just setting up base camp, you cannot go wrong with this place!

We loved this site. Lily was so helpful with our check-in and our entire stay, and even gave us a detailed guide on things to do in the area. Waking up to the sunrise on the beachfront each day was amazing, and being able to just relax on that same beach in the evening and unwind from the days activities was so nice. We will absolutely be back for our next Maine vacation!

Loved camping at Lily’s cabin! Cabin is so cute and roomier than it looks in the pictures. Beautiful view with beach front access! Beach is public so we did occasionally see people walk by but otherwise felt very private. Overall had a great experience. The only things you should know are as it says in the description it is a 300 ft walk from your car to the site over very uneven ground so was a little difficult getting our gear to cabin. Second the fire ring is on the beach not on your campsite. To get to the beach you have to go down a ledge over tree roots. Probably not a bid deal for most people ( I personally had no trouble). However my husband recently had back surgery and my dog has a knee issue so it made getting to the beach a little tricky for them. Just something to think about if you have any mobility issues. If you walk maybe 30 feet away from the cabin there are stone steps which both my husband and dog used without issue. Also when the tide is up it covers the fire ring but we used the woodstove and it kept us pretty toasty. Would definitely go back again!

Lily is an incredible host! The woods are perfect and beautiful. Quiet and serene, and right on the water. One gets a true sense of the solitude and still (especially if you're coming from the city) a sense of safety. Lily was responsive and even super helpful when we forgot a wine key. She had great tips for hiking, swimming and was fun to chat with. The site is tidy, thoughtful and fairly secluded.

My friend and I stayed in the A-Frame and had an excellent time! The property is beautiful, the A-Frame sits directly on the water and has a gorgeous view. We rented the kayaks directly from Lily and were able to take the kayaks out whenever we wanted. While we were here we visited Acadia national park and went for a 9 mile bike ride. Lily was an excellent host and even joined us for the Oyster tour nearby which was excellent, would highly recommend!

A quiet level camping spot. A beautiful beach down below. We spent the whole day on the beach and didn’t see anyone else. The portal up was clean. Lily was a very nice host.

Lovey spot. We had a great stay. 30 second walk to the ocean, with kayaks and canoes you can take out for a small fee, a picnic table and fire pit. As a plus, we had no bugs in September.

Loved everything about this place! Private, quiet spot right on the beach! We stayed for three days and went to explore Acadia each day but also loved our time just walking around the beach there. Our last night we did the add on of the lobster dinner and it did not disappoint! Lily is a great cook and lovely host and we cannot wait to come back… hoping to make it an annual camping trip!

This spot is magic. Just as described, and I took a kayak around Hog Island nearby and into one of the most glorious sunsets I've ever seen. Definitely a worthy stop and there was enough privacy here where I could cook food, play music, and hang out without fear of bothering other campers.
