Eclipse Stay
I really enjoyed staying at Magic Falls. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the 8 person bunkhouses for two nights so we could be in totality for the eclipse. Super glad the campground opened early specially for the event and despite the snow and wet conditions! Dan was great and answered questions when we arrived. Hoping to come back for a summer trip!

Simple cabin, rushing river
Dan, our host, was so kind. We discovered Magic Falls as a place to stay within the path of totality for the eclipse. I was with my 4 college-age kids, and we had a wonderful time. Dan was so accommodating and helpful. The rustic cabin was comfortable. We kept a fire going the whole time. Quite peaceful, hearing the rushing river. We'll definitely go back to try the rafting!

Eclipse Magic
This was a super special occasion and we were grateful that Dan opened up the space early for this weekend event. We rented the space and only hung out for the day to experience the Eclipse. The area was beautiful. We set up with a view of the river and all sites were well situated to view the eclipse. The space had an air of festival. Amenities were limited, as we were well informed ahead of time. This would be a lovely place to come back to and camp! And the river looks like a fun place to raft! Dan's instructions and emails ahead of time were so clear and helpful. If you're looking for adventure and somewhere lovely to stay, you can't go wrong!

Cabin Tent 8
Excellent eclipse experience
Dan was great! Super communicative, welcoming, and enthusiastic. The cabin tent 8 was just as described — clean, unheated, with 16 beds (4 elevated with bunk beds) — with a fire pit out front and a port-a-john an easy walk across the road. Camp is right on the river with a nice walking path. Across from a small field. Had firewood on site when we ran out, too. We plan to come back when the weather is better to do some camping and rafting! Thanks, Dan!

2024 solar eclipse night.
I camped here over night for the 2024 eclipse and it was an excellent choice for a lot of reasons. They were very accommodating, especially considering it was during their off season. We were offered a larger canvas platform tent just because it wasn't occupied. They had firewood available on site for purchase. Dan was available on site at check in time and answered any questions we had. Beautiful river side sites. We were also offered to come back for white water rafting in the summer, which we are in talks about doing now. Interestingly everyone who seemed to be there for the eclipse left by that night so we were the only occupied site that night, so I appreciate that being allowed to us because it allowed us to avoid the eclipse traffic that night which would have turned a 4 hour drive into an eight hour drive. Great land, sights and people.
