Blue Lake Springs is a quiet vacation community. It is the perfect place to go to relax and wind down. There aren't a lot of street lights making it a great place to stargaze. Cabin sits on .42 acres not 1 acre. (Just to clarify) Cabin has access to 2 private lakes. Blocks away. Fly in Acres and Blue Lake Springs. Will need to use the guest pass (fees apply). Cabin is in Blue Lake Springs. Blocks from Sequoia Woods Country Club and nearby golf courses in Murphy’s and Angels Camp. Only 2.5 hours from San Francisco! Had a nice weekend stay. The cabin is nice and stocked with towels, dishes, and cookware. There was a leak so we could not use the jacuzzi tub. We went to the White Pines Lake which was fun. The area is beautiful. Carlos was very responsive and helped with any issues we had.

Carlos's place we well equipped and spacious. Carlos was also helpful in clarifying questions we had. There were many trails near by as well as two private beaches that we were able to utilize. We had a good stay.

Carlos was a very friendly host, available to help us anytime needed. It was a great home stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, games, movies/prime/Netflix etc etc. would definitely recommend to others and return next time.

We found the cabin to be very welcoming and cozy. Plenty of space for my family of four (plus our dogs), in fact, we barely used the 3rd floor. Great location near lots of fun activities (White Pine Lake and Mercer Caverns were two of our favorites). My boys also loved the foosball table and my husband and I loved that we could enjoy a movie together while they played on the lower level. Beds were comfortable and amenities were perfect. We'll definitely keep it on our list of favorites. Thank you Carlos!

Our family had a wonderful time at Carlos’ place in Arnold over Memorial Day Weekend!!! Everything went well at the cabin and we had all we needed. Thanks!! We’ll be back for sure!

Awesome space. Stairs seem intimidating but totally doable. Views cannot be beat - 7 mins from Calaveras Big Tree State Park. Super conducive for family time. Pet friendly. Carlos was very responsive, thank you so much for hosting us!

Nice cabin in the forest

We enjoyed our small family reunion at Carlos' cabin. The location within the large residential/vacation cabin community in Arnold was peaceful and convenient for exploring the small lakes close-by and the surrounding area. The cabin has a nice layout, with a living room/kitchen/deck on the central floor that were great for spending time and getting everyone together. It was clean when we arrived, had most of the essentials we needed (check if you need specific kitchenware), and the sleeping arrangements worked well for our party of 6. Carlos was a helpful, flexible and responsive host. The only two issues we faced were 1) an extended power outage during 4th of July weekend (some nearby houses had [loud!] backup generators; this one doesn't), and 2) parts of the house have been nicely renovated but some others could still use work: the main deck, for instance, is aging with some peeling paint, un-level floor boards and wobbly railings.
