A perfect campsite! We loved staying here, especially the structure to get out of the rain. It was very secluded in the woods, but still close to town and easily accessible. Our only complaint was the smell of the outhouse carrying in the wind to our tent.
Such a cool place to camp in a beautiful area. It rained during our stay and being able to put our tent under the shelter was nice, especially with a baby. Outhouse was also a nice feature. Clean no garbage or anything. Would recommend.
We had a wonderful stay! Everything was just perfect! The area was beautiful, with a lot to explore. A tropical storm blew thru one night & a thunderstorm another night, we were safe and dry in the shelter. Loved watching it rain & listening to the rain on the tin roof. We’ll be back!
Exactly what I was looking for: somewhere in the woods with a few amenities and a shelter to make it warmer in my tent. A great fire pit and clean shelter AND outhouse! This was perfect! Thank you, George!
Wonderful site. The shelter was great for doing food prep, and having a floor to conduct personal hygiene/change clothes on. Great fire pit area. The site is just far enough off the road so you feel secluded, but close enough to be easily accessible. There is also a house just down the hill (within eyesight and shouting distance) so campers can feel safe. George came up shortly after I arrived and made sure things were right. *a word of caution* the roads are very narrow, so take your time going around the turns (one lane) if you are not in a 4x4, stay on the blacktop.
