The property itself is beautiful, and Jeff, the host, is very friendly and easy to communicate with — which I really appreciated. That said, there are several things that need improvement to make the stay more comfortable, especially during the summer.
The cabin is made from a metal container, and in hot weather, it becomes unbearably hot from around noon until sunset. An AC unit is definitely needed.
Cleanliness could be better. The cabin didn’t feel very clean overall. The folding couch had visible stains and looked dirty. Decorative pillows, which likely aren’t washed often, didn’t feel sanitary.
The curtains had mold.
There were no proper toilet waste bags, only grocery bags, which isn't ideal.
The gas grill didn’t work, and there was no microwave inside the cabin — we didn't need it, but this is something to be aware of if you plan to cook or heat food.
On the brighter side, I really loved the outdoor shower, the fire ring, and the freedom to roam the property with my dog. The tent area nearby is actually lovely — breezy, shaded, and well-maintained. With a fan, it was more comfortable than the cabin during the day.
Overall, the property has a lot of potential, but some upgrades and deeper cleaning would really improve the experience.
