RIVERSIDE TENT CAMPSITE

This place is one of the best places I have ever camped in. The place is so secluded very peaceful and serene. The man Cito is one cool dude and he will make you feel comfortable once he starts welcoming you. The bathrooms are very clean as well as the shower. Awesome place!!!

Our experience at River Ranch Campground was truly a piece of heaven on earth. The tranquility of the location, combined with its stunning natural beauty, made for an unforgettable stay. The campground offers easy access to the river, providing a peaceful and idyllic setting to relax and enjoy nature. The amenities were also fantastic. the bathrooms were clean, and the hot showers were the cherry on top, making our stay comfortable and refreshing. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed every moment we spent there. Cyto and Constantino were incredibly lovely and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We also want to express our gratitude to Michelle, who asked us about our interests before assigning us a campsite — a thoughtful touch that is rarely seen. Thanks to her, we were given the perfect spot to enjoy our time. We truly appreciate this amazing experience and will definitely return again. Highly recommend River Ranch Campground for anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful retreat in nature!

Was a great experience, will definitely come here again. Very shady. Clean bathrooms with hot showers and plenty of portapottys in between campsites if you don’t want to walk to the restrooms. Those are also kept clean. The creak is so pretty. Was worth every penny.

RIVERSIDE TENT CAMPSITE

River Ranch Campground was such a peaceful and welcoming spot to unwind. There was plenty of room to explore, relax, and take in the calm atmosphere. I especially loved how easy it was to access the river—it made for a perfect place to cool off or just hang out by the water. The nearby town and stores were only a short drive away, which made everything super convenient. You can tell the campsite was created with care and love. From the handwritten signs and well-maintained bathrooms to the toys for kids and the cozy little host office, every detail added to the charm. The Wi-Fi hotspot was a thoughtful touch too! Michelle was such a sweet and eccentric host—her energy really added to the experience. I’d definitely come back again! (I will say beware of the skunks! lol)

RIVERSIDE RV SITE

This is a true back to the beauty of nature experience. It is approached through a 22 or so minute drive off the 108, winding down into the canyon on the southeast side of the valley. You can be parked within feet of the lovely north fork of the Tuolumne River. Check in was speedy. They have amazing sites all under tall pines...the water can be heard closeby. Wifi is only accessible if you are in one of the spots closest to the entrance. This is a place to be completely free from Wifi, but you can walk up the hill if necessary to get in touch. Spacious sites, you cannot hear your neighbors. Fires are permitted, which is rare in these mountains. A true CAMP experience.

Never thought we’d love dry campin.

Pure relaxation with the sound of the very nearby creek. Loved our 14-C campsite. Other campers were polite and didn’t seem to mi d we had our 3 dogs. Hot showers were AMAZING and completely private with times of space. Flushing toilets were and are a must so thank you Jennifer. Cito was the best host and truly welcoming. I especially loved the handmade items for sale to which i purchased a few items on our way out. Thank you for my coffee mugs-my husband and I enjoyed our hot coffee in them this morning. Overall a beautiful place to dry camp. A must visit!!!

Host was excellent in helping me choose a campsite I needed. I had a site right next to the creek. Creek was clean and easy access. It was exactly what I needed. I camped at 10c and would recommend either going on a less busy day or in a larger group to rent 10c and 11c together.

Beautiful grounds, very well kept and being next to the picturesque creek was the bonus.🏞🏕🌲 Am looking into doing a large family gathering and this has the perfect grounds for it. Also was a last min decision and the host was very nice being we didn't arrive till 10pm. Can't thank you enough ☺️

We had a great time at River Ranch Campground! The site was beautiful, well-maintained, and offered direct river access, which was perfect for a hot weekend. The kids had an amazing time in the river and spent the whole day playing in it. Our campsite was a bit far from the main restroom, but there was a porta potty nearby. We missed the "pack it in, pack it out" policy, as it was our first time needing to pack out all our trash, and having a dumpster on-site would have been helpful. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and despite the minor inconveniences, we would definitely consider camping here again.

Well Worth the Drive!

Really loved the camping experience in River Ranch Campground! We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and on our second day we drove up to Cherry Lake to do some paddle boarding. The campsite is clean and the entire place is indeed family friendly! We camped by the river "beach" and wade in the river waters. The host Michelle was really accommodating and nice. She was very kind enough to quickly respond to my questions. The camp has amenities like shower and flush toilets amd those were clean. There were also vaulted toilets (like an outhouse)...but I preferred the flush toilets even if I have to drive a little from our campsite. We live in South OC so it looks us 7 hours of driving but it was worth it! I'm coming back to River Ranch Campground!

Check in time is 2 PM or get a $10 fine if early. Rules say ‘ no loud music’ but many of my neighbors were blasting terrible loud music. So no I would not recommend. Also, upon arrival to my site, the fire pit still had hot coals in it- totally unsafe.

No privacy with a portapotty

There is no privacy here. There’s a road nearby and you see cars pass regularly. Extremely close proximity to other campers. The river is somewhat difficult to access due to heavy blackberry thickets around. The porta potty was insufficient - there was one porta potty for about 20 campers on our side and it wasn’t cleaned during the stay. Normally I would use the woods but like I said there’s no privacy so you have to use the porta potty

Campsites are next to a road, which means you’ll be hearing cars drive by throughout the day and sometimes at night. No privacy between campsites. Our tent was right next to someone else’s truck the entire time. Campsites are packed tightly. You’ll be pitching your tent right next to another campsite.

BEST CAMPSITE EVER!

This is one of the best camping experience we ever had. We went there last weekend and it was the most peaceful sleep in my life. The sound of the creek by our campsite was perfect. Bathroom was clean, host was friendly and our campsite 2R has good enough shades. We ghaf toddlers and two dogs on leash , they had so so much fun playing, we went hiking during sunset and in the morning too. Love it! Highly recommended and will definitely go book again.

The campground was beautiful, absolutely well maintained, and the staff was kind and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone looking to camp in this area. My family and I had a blast! We arrived on a Monday and didn’t have any campers around until Thursday.
