Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. The land is close to 180 miles of local kayak trails (we rent kayaks!), a 10 minute drive from beautiful walking trails, and about an hour from the beach. We offer a rustic composting toilet, a heated outdoor shower, and a simple kitchen with a sink and stovetop. Note: We are in a rural, agricultural area—not isolated wilderness. There are noises that you should be aware of. During the early morning/day, you may hear red-tailed hawks, roosters, goats, horses, dogs, agricultural equipment, traffic on Route 29, and sometimes loud mariachi music on Sundays from our neighbors' bi-weekly horse events. At night you may also hear roosters, dogs, and occasional traffic/planes/equipment, and you will almost certainly hear wildlife noises such as barn owls, barred owls, frogs, crickets, and cicadas. We offer complimentary earplugs for light sleepers, but also want you to be aware that the Everglades region and farm-y South Florida are not perfectly quiet zones.

Also you are more than welcome to bring any fruit tree and plant here during your stay. You can watch an amazing sunrise and sunset that are memorable. At night you can prepare delicious s'mores, bring your stuff and gaze into the night sky filled with stars like you've never seen. There is a social area with hammock, relaxing chairs, fire-pit, outdoor open shower, barbecue, table. Bring more chairs if you are a big family. If you like fishing, bring your stuff and you can fish at the water canal that are in the back of our property, we already got some delicious yummy Tilapias. The water that we provide come from a well, we use filters to purify it and use as shower and hose, but bring your drink water. You can bring your UTV and ATV to ride over here. If you are in a mood for a horseback, we can share a contact of a lady that bring them to our property, must be arranged prior to visit. Talking about outside the ranch, you can see our neighbors with orange farms, dragon fruit plantations, passion fruit plantations, bamboo plantations, ostrich farm, chicken farm. The town of LaBelle offers a lot to do and you must visit some places like LaBelle Nature Park, and Barron Park, we love to go there afternoons after grabbing a pizza. Talking restaurants, we can recommend our favorites, like a Italian restaurant, Mexican restaurant, a Brewing co, and a delicious Pelican's SnoBall shaved-ice snow cones that we are addicts of it! We are located 30 minutes from town, no stores or gas stations close by. Please come fully equipped with your own utensils, cooking essentials, food and beverages. We're also within 50 miles away of Estero Beach and 44 miles of Fort Myer. Bring sunscreen and a hat, we are in Florida and it is always super hot over here during the day. Don’t forget the bug repellent and a sweater, sometime the temperature drop during night. You may want a flashlight or headlamp for walking around at night. Expect beautiful stars, local wildlife such as owls and chameleons, an outdoor shower, and a "hippie hot tub" powered by a campfire. Sunsets on Flitterbug Farm are truly epic. The land is close to 180 miles of local kayak trails (we rent kayaks!), a 10 minute drive from beautiful walking trails, and about an hour from the beach. We offer a rustic composting toilet, a heated outdoor shower, and a simple kitchen with a sink and stovetop. Note: We are in a rural, agricultural area—not isolated wilderness. There are noises that you should be aware of. During the early morning/day, you may hear red-tailed hawks, roosters, goats, horses, dogs, agricultural equipment, traffic on Route 29, and sometimes loud mariachi music on Sundays from our neighbors' bi-weekly horse events. At night you may also hear roosters, dogs, and occasional traffic/planes/equipment, and you will almost certainly hear wildlife noises such as barn owls, barred owls, frogs, crickets, and cicadas. We offer complimentary earplugs for light sleepers, but also want you to be aware that the Everglades region and farm-y South Florida are not perfectly quiet zones.

A beautiful wide-open glade with a serene pond nearby made this spot absolutely perfect. We enjoyed a small fire right by our tent and camped beneath gorgeous trees that offered welcome shade as the day warmed up. The outdoor kitchen was great for cooking, and the firepit added to the classic camping experience. With virtually no light pollution, the night sky was incredible, stars everywhere. Trina, the host, couldn't have been kinder and even shared some fascinating history about the land. It's and ideal place to unwind and immerse yourself in nature while still being conveniently close to groceries and other essentials. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning.

I really enjoyed Trina's place; I loved that she let my dog Bandit, play ball off leash. I think Bandit liked her too because he was right behind her "he normally doesn't leave my site" anyway you are provided with the necessities, a 2-burner propane stove, sink where you wash your dishes, she even filters the drinking water and puts it in a glass jug." how sweet is that" there is an out-house, oh and if you want to soak under the stars, there is an old cast-iron tub, you get to experience the way they did it back in the old days, by building a fire under the tub.! " hot tub "and a fire pit where you can hang out and meet new friends. let's not forget the shower also under the stars. " don't worry you have some privacy there" anyway it was my first hipcamp, Bandit and I had fun. stop by the Flitterbug Farm and tell Trina Norma says hi.

Super cute homestead with good vibes all around. A communal setting with a compost toilet, a shower, water, kitchen, etc. We camped with our 2 dogs and parked right by our site which was nice. Lots of roosters and dogs in the surrounding areas, but the site was pretty peaceful with a nice big tree to pitch our tent under!

It was a perfect location, we walked to the pickup spot for the boat ride to our shelling adventure. Less than 1/2 a mile. The property was nice and peaceful, many trees, we seen a baby gator. The camper was nice, dont let the outside fool you. It’s an older style camper. Many people on here complaining about bugs and how the property looked, but keep in mind you are camping at someone’s house and they have children. Where to go

Through the Swamplands

Head south of Naples, but stop before you reach the Everglades. As one of Florida’s many state forests, the Picayune Strand State Forest coincides with the Big Cypress Basin and offers tent and RV campsites near the cypress trees. If you want even greater access to Florida’s swamps, head to Collier-Seminole State Park. Located just north of the Everglades, the park’s RV campgrounds come with dump stations, electricity, and restrooms. 

Everglades National Park

Less than an hour south of Naples, this national park is a must-see for its subtropical environment and abundance of wildlife. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Everglades National Park maintains the Western Hemisphere’s largest mangrove ecosystem, so there’s plenty of adventure to be enjoyed. When to go

November through April is Florida’s dry season and the best time to visit Collier County’s swamps. If you want to experience the Everglades with fewer mosquitoes and less humidity, plan your visit for these colder months. The parks aren’t as accessible or enjoyable during the wet season. However, Naples boasts plenty of beaches, so, depending on what you want from your camping getaway, there’s never a bad time of year to visit.
