We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. My dog Marty and I had an awesome stay at Shell Creek—it’s truly a touch of old Florida! The campground sits right on a beautiful freshwater creek, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and enjoy nature. We stayed at Creekside Site B, which had a great view and plenty of shade.The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was just right. It’s a place that feels genuine, quiet, and full of that classic Florida charm. I’ll definitely be recommending Shell Creek to friends, and Marty and I will be back for sure!

John's property is very nice. We had a great time with our family. The facilities were comfortable though we didn't take showers. We were able to get firewood from John each night for our fire. Our kids had a great time with the short hike to see a camel, Highland cattle and an alpaca that live on a neighbor's farm.

What an exceptional stay in Goodland. Our hosts, Amanda and Terry, were welcoming and friendly. The site is impeccable and has the best view of the Intracoastal. This is the only truly "on the water" RV stay in Goodland. If you're considering booking a stay, do it now! (We'll definitely return).

Weekend Trip to Privacy in Fort Ogden

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we had an amazing experience here. Our host Kevin, was very accommodating and he has a beautiful property. Feeding the animals was the highlight of the weekend for us! We also checked out fisherman’s village in Punta Gorda and it was only a 25 min drive from camp. Lots to do around this campground if you don’t want to stay at camp all day. We will be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Bell Oaks Ranch 5 min from Beach

We enjoyed our stay at Bell Oaks Ranch. The property is beautiful, quiet, and full of birds/wildlife. We had the back half to ourselves, so we had plenty of room and privacy. We greatly appreciated the clean bathroom and visited with your super sweet horses every day - thank you for hosting us!!

2 nights at Magical Pond On Flitterbug Farm

Beautiful oak canopies, areas with seclusion and privacy. Plenty of spots near amenities which are super pretty and convenient. Great visibility of the stars. A lot of options and flexibility to camp the way you want to camp and super nice host. Would stay on the property here over any state park/generic cookie cutter camp ground. Also the shower is really nice!
