Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens. Day time check-in is 100% recommended. Please be sure to contact me for any and all questions you may have!

This is an ideal, secure "home base" for hikers and bikers heading out on day trips and excursions.. In any direction are Southwest Florida’s premier nature preserves, estuaries, sanctuaries, state and national parks. Delnor-Wiggins Pass and boat ramp access to the open Gulf are 14 miles away. Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, the CREW Wildlife and Environmental Area, Everglades National Park, Lover's Key, 10,000 Islands and the Florida Panther Wildlife Management Area are all just minutes away. The recently finished Corkscrew Island Regional Park and Aquatics Center offers swimming, tennis, racquetball and pickleball courts. This is a "dark" location, which is excellent for stargazing. Note: We are located within the Collier County "mosquito control district". This is a huge plus+ in the summer months.

Where to go

Through the Swamplands

Head south of Naples, but stop before you reach the Everglades. As one of Florida’s many state forests, the Picayune Strand State Forest coincides with the Big Cypress Basin and offers tent and RV campsites near the cypress trees. If you want even greater access to Florida’s swamps, head to Collier-Seminole State Park. Located just north of the Everglades, the park’s RV campgrounds come with dump stations, electricity, and restrooms.

Everglades National Park

Less than an hour south of Naples, this national park is a must-see for its subtropical environment and abundance of wildlife. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Everglades National Park maintains the Western Hemisphere’s largest mangrove ecosystem, so there’s plenty of adventure to be enjoyed. Tent and RV campsites surround the Everglades, with options for both frontcountry and backcountry campsites.

Marco Island

When to go

November through April is Florida’s dry season and the best time to visit Collier County’s swamps. If you want to experience the Everglades with fewer mosquitoes and less humidity, plan your visit for these colder months. The parks aren’t as accessible or enjoyable during the wet season. However, Naples boasts plenty of beaches, so, depending on what you want from your camping getaway, there’s never a bad time of year to visit.
