Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV.
Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds.
The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens.
Day time check-in is 100% recommended.

Richard was very nice and helpful! Property was beautiful. I’m sad for the cold spout you guys had although many of your trees took a hit I think they’ll come back!! For us weather was perfect. We enjoyed staying in your food forest and exploring some plants we can’t keep at home. We especially liked how quiet it was and how it was encouraged to keep separated. The shower and common room was a very nice luxury!

What a great spot! I really enjoy Hipcamping vs larger campgrounds. This host and land is one reason why.
The property is welcoming and not far off the highway. (A bit of highway hum in the distance, but not a deal breaker.) The showers are outside and cold water. They are really meant for rinsing off after a sauna, and yes, there really is a sauna and cold plunge. The restroom is enclosed with ample space and is very clean.
I pitched a small tent on grass next to the gravel site with no issue. And my small dog was welcome to roam off leash.
Brittany was quick to respond to messages and was very welcoming although she was not present during my stay.
I’m definitely returning when back in the area❣️

Serenity Star did not disappoint and host Britney couldn’t have been more welcoming. Our stay of 6 nights was just what we needed. We were weary travelers escaping the cold weather up north and Serenity Star was our safe haven. I highly recommend booking into this place. I will not hesitate to return in the future. This land was the perfect meeting spot for our group split coming from both the Keys and Bradenton. We really enjoyed the accessibility to trails along hwy 41 that we've always wanted to stop at but felt the pressure to keep going. At camp, it was enjoyable to be able to pick our spot depending on our needs - my parent's camper fit neatly under the live oak next to the orchard and near the bathrooms. Our kids enjoyed looking for the chickens and spotting the baby alligators in the pond. The host was friendly, informative and attentive but not nosey or intrusive. Facilities were perfectly accessible and nice to have, even using the generator in order to be "off grid" was simple and not inconvenient at all. We will definitely look for availability next time we are in the area!

I stayed on Amanda's land for two nights. We enjoyed staying there immensely. The chickens were awesome, and we saw a bunch of other wildlife, including a Red-shouldered Hawk snatch something up pretty near us. The weather was awesome! Amanda's land was a great base for nearby activities.

My wife and I were there for a few hours, unfortunately there was a brush fire that was a bit too close for comfort (wife is from Fire country out west). Amanda was very helpful getting info about the fire. Richard is onsite and is a hell of a nice guy, gave us some fruit and fishing advice about the pond on site. It’s remote and very quiet with some good fishing. Would recommend.

Where to go
Through the Swamplands
Head south of Naples, but stop before you reach the Everglades. As one of Florida’s many state forests, the Picayune Strand State Forest coincides with the Big Cypress Basin and offers tent and RV campsites near the cypress trees. If you want even greater access to Florida’s swamps, head to Collier-Seminole State Park. Located just north of the Everglades, the park’s RV campgrounds come with dump stations, electricity, and restrooms.
Everglades National Park
Less than an hour south of Naples, this national park is a must-see for its subtropical environment and abundance of wildlife. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Everglades National Park maintains the Western Hemisphere’s largest mangrove ecosystem, so there’s plenty of adventure to be enjoyed. Tent and RV campsites surround the Everglades, with options for both frontcountry and backcountry campsites.
Marco Island
No trip to Florida is complete without a stop at the beach. If you prefer the sand to the swamp, check-in to a Marco Island campground. Beautiful beaches, boutiques, and birds fill the island, so if you want to relax alongside Florida’s clear waters, book an RV or tent campsite. Or, opt for a Marco Island cabin to make your stay all the easier. Kids will love scouring for seashells along the sandy shoreline.
When to go
November through April is Florida’s dry season and the best time to visit Collier County’s swamps. If you want to experience the Everglades with fewer mosquitoes and less humidity, plan your visit for these colder months. The parks aren’t as accessible or enjoyable during the wet season. However, Naples boasts plenty of beaches, so, depending on what you want from your camping getaway, there’s never a bad time of year to visit.
