Welcome to our passion project, a completely restored and preserved '77 Airstream Argosy. Tucked in a forested corner of our plot, only 3/4 mile from downtown Sequim you'll get the BEST of camping without any of the worsts of camping. Spend evenings in the wood fire hot tub under the stars and slip into 100% cotton sheets on an oversized camper mattress & French Flax bedding. Tucked into the fully fenced and forested quarter of our lot, once parked and past the gate you'll feel as though you've entered the best camping spot in the entire campground - only thing is, you've got the whole place to yourself. Our aim was to create the best of camping without any of the pain that usually accompanies it. No packing up the camper, trailer hookups, towing on wild highways, backing up and parking, loud neighbors but instead... complete privacy, a fully outfitted camper with all the interior amenities you could dream of (think fully equipped kitchen, games, books, bedding, toilet paper - we've got it all) a propane fire pit, already chopped firewood for the WOOD FIRE HOT TUB under the stars, a solar outdoor shower to rinse yourself off, a large curved deck with a table and chairs. Depending on the season you may even find a fridge stocked with farm fresh eggs. The property that the campsite is located on is also fully gated so you won't have to worry about security and your privacy. Unless you need something you'll be fully left alone and safe. PLEASE note that Vintage Camping Trailers are petite. The walking path from the front to the back of the trailer is narrow. The bed is a FULL size mattress. That being said, we did spring for a very tall mattress so once you're in the bed you will be as comfy as possible. This camping experience is best for those who are also petite. Tall travelers may find the height of the inside shower and the entire camper a bit cramped. Additionally, the bed can most definitely fit two sleepers but please ensure you comfortably fit on a full size mattress before you commit. Remember, the spirit of this stay is luxury camping, but it's still camping.

    Dungeness Island is just that - a small island in the middle of the beautiful Dungeness River. Surrounded by forest and beautiful mountain and river views with many trails to explore, swimming hole and shallow water for pets and kids play.. It really is a destination as well as a great camping experience. Even though trails go through the Salmon Pool and Pic/Nap sites, other campers do not access those trails when Site 2 and; 3 are occupied. The trails are not accessible to the public as they are on private property. Alternative routes to the Salmon Pool and main river bank are available to guests not occupying trail campsites 1: the Dungeness Wanderer site is to the north with easy access to the main river, woodland trails abound, with one that is a 1/4 mile walk to the Dungeness Railroad Bridge Park, as well as to some of the best swimming and fishing holes on the river. Site 2 is The Dungeness nap and picnic site is on the trail that leads to a peaceful riverbank spot to picnic - or nap and enjoy the peaceful, relaxing sound of the river. The salmon pool trail is the 3rd site and is located on the trail that leads out to the east bank of the main river where one will be mesmerized by the the King Salmon and Pink Salmon now resting in the pools that will soon be full of the wild Coho run, followed by the hatchery Coho run. Stay awhile and wander the Dungeness to your hearts content.

    Quiet neighborhood adjacent to farmland. The site, including my home, is located at the end of a Cul d sac There is a panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains. It is a single tent site only, not suitable for rv's or trailers. It is located behind the garage on mowed grass. Absolute adherence to quiet hours is necessary. Also, absolutely no firearms or firecrackers or slingshots or bows and arrows allowed. There are many species of birds in the yard, including eagles, hawks, owls, great blue herons, finches and sparrows of all kinds, woodpeckers, robins, seagulls, hummingbirds, blue jays, doves, etc. Occasional deer and raccoons and opossum. I am limiting the number of guests to 2 per night. Check in after 8 am. Check out by 3pm. No Pet guests. my outdoor cat and neighborhood cats already. This area has amazing roads for biking. Great Kayaking by traveling to Lake Leland in Quilcene, Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim Bay, Strait of Juan de Fuca, Port Angeles, and on out West to Lake Cresent and the West Coast. The yard is fenced with gardens and provides privacy. From the well is great potable water via a garden hose. The firepit will be supplied with wood, newspaper, starter and kindling. However, during this dry, hot summer, fires are not allowed. I can provide an extension cord for charging cell phones. There is a table and chairs. Porta potty is inside a tent placed under the walnut tree. A person could take a sun heated water shower. We are 1/4 mile from the Old Dungeness School house which is on the Dungeness River. There are walking trails on the new dike to the south and a walk to the beach to the north. Nash's Organic farm stand, a lavender farm, a plant nursery and Dandelion Botanicals and handmade wreath business and a 2nd hand stand within 1/2 radius. Down the Three Crabs Road heading north, there is a small Clallam County Park on Dungeness Bay with access to the beach. It's a 20 minute walk from the site. There is a Sanikan there. My camping site is 2 miles to Olympic Game Farm, Cline Spit and Clallam County boat launch on Dungeness Bay. Where there is a public toilet in the parking lot. The area is considered one of the best birding areas in the State. Roads are mostly level for biking and it's easy to reach the Olympic Bike trail in Sequim or Carlsborg. The Olympic bike trail goes all the way to Forks. If you travel East you come to Sequim Bay State Park and the S'Klallam Tribes, 7 Cedars Casino and Hotel and Longhouse Market and Pot shop and Library and dental clinic in Blyn. It's 4 miles to Graysmarsh Farm and the Dungeness Wildlife Center in Sequim. We are 30 miles from Port Townsend, 16 miles to Port Angles and the entrance to Olympic National Park. 3 miles to the Dungeness Spit and US Fish and Wildlife Center where you can hike to the beach and then a 7-mile hike to the lighthouse at the end of the spit. There's also an extensive campground there and plenty of beautiful walking trails and picnic table areas and toilets and showers. From Sequim take Sequim Dungeness Way turn right onto the 3 Crabs Road At the Dungeness Nursery turn right on Dungeness Bay Boulevard, turn right on Meadowbrook Avenue. Come to end of Cul de Sac.

There are many species of birds in the yard, including eagles, hawks, owls, great blue herons, finches and sparrows of all kinds, woodpeckers, robins, seagulls, hummingbirds, blue jays, doves, etc. Occasional deer and raccoons and opossum. I am limiting the number of guests to 2 per night. Check in after 8 am. Check out by 3pm. No Pet guests. my outdoor cat and neighborhood cats already. This area has amazing roads for biking. Great Kayaking by traveling to Lake Leland in Quilcene, Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim Bay, Strait of Juan de Fuca, Port Angeles, and on out West to Lake Cresent and the West Coast. The yard is fenced with gardens and provides privacy. From the well is great potable water via a garden hose. The firepit will be supplied with wood, newspaper, starter and kindling. However, during this dry, hot summer, fires are not allowed. I can provide an extension cord for charging cell phones. There is a table and chairs. Porta potty is inside a tent placed under the walnut tree. A person could take a sun heated water shower. We are 1/4 mile from the Old Dungeness School house which is on the Dungeness River. There are walking trails on the new dike to the south and a walk to the beach to the north. Nash's Organic farm stand, a lavender farm, a plant nursery and Dandelion Botanicals and handmade wreath business and a 2nd hand stand within 1/2 radius. Down the Three Crabs Road heading north, there is a small Clallam County Park on Dungeness Bay with access to the beach. It's a 20 minute walk from the site. There is a Sanikan there. My camping site is 2 miles to Olympic Game Farm, Cline Spit and Clallam County boat launch on Dungeness Bay. Where there is a public toilet in the parking lot. The area is considered one of the best birding areas in the State. Roads are mostly level for biking and it's easy to reach the Olympic Bike trail in Sequim or Carlsborg. The Olympic bike trail goes all the way to Forks. If you travel East you come to Sequim Bay State Park and the S'Klallam Tribes, 7 Cedars Casino and Hotel and Longhouse Market and Pot shop and Library and dental clinic in Blyn. It's 4 miles to Graysmarsh Farm and the Dungeness Wildlife Center in Sequim. We are 30 miles from Port Townsend, 16 miles to Port Angles and the entrance to Olympic National Park. 3 miles to the Dungeness Spit and US Fish and Wildlife Center where you can hike to the beach and then a 7-mile hike to the lighthouse at the end of the spit. There's also an extensive campground there and plenty of beautiful walking trails and picnic table areas and toilets and showers. From Sequim take Sequim Dungeness Way turn right onto the 3 Crabs Road At the Dungeness Nursery turn right on Dungeness Bay Boulevard, turn right on Meadowbrook Avenue. Come to end of Cul de Sac.

    The yurt is a fun spot to stay. Your neighbors really are the geese and donkeys. Shaelee came by to say hi and give us a lay of the land. There are people that come to and fro, because it is a working farm. There certainly are spiders in the bathroom but 'tis the season. The yurt had water, a bed- everything we needed for some glamping.

    This was our second trip to Dick’s Last Resort (prior stay June 2024). We loved it just as much the second time. Plenty of space/privacy. The picnic shelter with electric hook up is great for us since we have a small pop up and do all our cooking outside. Access to potable water and the port-a-potty are also essential. The kids love playing and exploring around camp. We discovered a nice spot to pick blackberries by the river this time:) We also appreciate the proximity to Sequim and we did the Olympic Game Farm for fun this go-round. Thanks Richard!

Robin, the host, is great and full of information. Even though it is close to highway, we didn’t hear any road noise, just the sound of the river. Highly recommend.

    This camping site is so clean from the grounds to the saniKan!! I was a little nervous about the saniKan but it was so clean!! Richard was accommodating and quick to respond. The natural springs and creek were such a delight and watching all the little fish while sitting on the bridge. The river and trails were fun to explore. I even took a nice crisp swim in the river. Close enough to run to town if need be and far enough to feel submerged in nature. After posting pics on Facebook all of our friends and family are wanting to know where this gem is at!! We will be back and I’m sure with friends and family!! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!!

    Such a lovely spot just steps from the relaxing river. Me and my group enjoyed are evening at site #1! There is so much space available to roam and get cozy during your time outdoors. There are also rocked off areas in the river to make for an easy soak sesh. We utilized the chairs, picnic table, and large outdoor counter to make a group meal! There was also a convenient plug in as well as a water spout. I look forward to coming back to Dick’s Last Resort in the future! ⛺️

    Beautiful camp site! Huge space, fully shaded, private, quiet, short walk to river, felt like a wilderness retreat, but was only 5 minutes from Walmart. Robin went above and beyond as a host, made sure we had all we needed, helped us to the camp site, even brought us a crab one night - kids were thrilled to break open and eat a crab new experience. Camp site has water and basin for dishes, picnic table, fire pit, and pit toilet. A great place to explore the North East side of Glacier.

We are fortunate to live on some property outside of our town, and this is the only place we camp that is as quiet and private as our own backyard.     Van camping at the Liberty Champagne Quarter Horse ranch was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. The property is located on the outskirts of Sequim in a small rural outpost consisting of homes and small farms and ranches. Our hosts were easily accessible from the time we made the reservation to the minute we arrived. They offered several parking locations and inquired about our electrical and water needs. The place where we parked our van was at the opposite end of the property from our hosts’ home. We had a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains in the distance, and were flanked by several large corrals, a riding/training ring, and a couple large sheds for storage of saddles, tack, and hay. We had plenty of space and privacy as well. Our hosts walked us around the ranch, introduced us to all of the horses (from stallion to babies), and readily agreed to allow to us visit with the herd in the morning. In other words, they were generous with their time and information, and we felt genuinely welcomed. We appreciated that the property is gated day and night, is well lit, and is clean and tidy.

    It was such a beautiful and peaceful secluded stay! Robin and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They provided so many thoughtful touches, like a picnic table, a “faucet” and wash area for dishes and brushing teeth, as well as a designated spot to use the bathroom. There was also a hammock and camping chairs, which made it extra cozy and relaxing. Since there was a fire ban during our visit, Robin kindly offered for us to use her propane campfire, which made the evenings feel warm and inviting. The campsite itself is a little walk from the car, so I recommend bringing a wagon if you have one. If not, don’t worry, Robin has one available for guests to borrow, which was super convenient. Overall, it was the perfect balance of rustic camping with thoughtful amenities. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in nature with kind and generous hosts!

    Tribal Edge campsite was a fantastic place for a large group to have a private time in nature but not too far away from convenience. Ben have built and continuing to build a great space for people to come and enjoy time with their family. The site provides many amenities as described. One tough part was the amount of insects in the area (not just the campsite) during our visit that made it a bit annoying. However, Ben provides ample bug sprays and warnings in advance. Overall, I'd recommend! There is also a beautiful yurt and tiny house available for rent as well.

    We stayed at campsite 2 with a class A and a pop up for three nights. 4 adults and three young teens. This is now my happy place. No one had a complaint. The worst thing was that bees hang out at the gazebo nonstop but no one got stung. The little branch of the river that flows in front of this site was still moving slightly. I would buy this spot if I could! It’s amazing. I do recommend planning ahead for what you’ll do with trash if you have a group as you will have to pack it out. The owner is quick to respond to questions. They keep their property immaculate (including the sani-can). Don’t pass up the chance to stay here!

There are open meadows, forested areas, and a trail that circles the property. Find the beginning of the wood-chip trail near the campsite and follow it through the trees. The trail comes out near the house. Enjoy the view and take care near the cliff. The campsite is in a small open meadow surrounded by trees on three sides and with a view to the south toward the Olympic mountains. We have only one campsite. You will be very private with no other campers nearby. Electrical, water, and sewer hookups are provided. NOTE: There are no bathroom facilities for tent campers. SEWER HOOKUP NOTE: Sewer hookup is on the driver's side of the vehicle if you pull in forward. If you pull all the way forwards the sewer hookup will be 24' behind the front tire. It’s rustic but beautiful and extremely accessible for two-wheeled visitors with the Larry Scott Trail running almost half a mile directly through the property. We have a 2019 Minnie Winnebago under a covered spot on the farm with full water/power/dump hookups. We have a sweet little orchard with pears, apples, plums and cherries, all up for grabs when they are on the trees! The garden is massive and boats Raspberries and black berries galore, which we happily share when in season! The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome! Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested. Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line. Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

We live on the property with Clancy, Uncle Larry, Tim and Pete and our friendly dog Pickle. 3 Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples.  Site 1 & 2 have a 2 Night minimum stay, Site 3 has a 1 Night minimum stay. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include:  cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites.  We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection. Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area. This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe. You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. CAMPSITES Here on our property, you can choose from simple walk in campsites with no special amenities, to a full campsite with picnic table, fire ring, and space for tent or trailer, up to a full size camper trailer parking area. We also have the lovely Cowboy wall tent with electricity and extra plugs for charging devices, a small electric heater, larger dorm style refrigerator, Queen size bed and all the bedding, additional oversized twin bed with bedding, 2 lamps, love seat reclining sofa and side table, Bistro style table and two chairs, 2 burner hotplate with coffee and tea, plates, cups and silverware, We provide 5 gallon containers of natural snowfall derived city water at your site. The wall tent has a separate porta potty with handwashing station. A larger portapotty is located in the center of the field for easy access from all other campsites. propane shower and shower room up and running. ACTIVITIES Other activities include local trails for hiking and biking, close proximity to Port Townsend, town beach and waterfront and a short drive to the Olympic National forest. FOOD This year, due to positive feedback, we are increasing our offering of a full course Chuckwagon dinner, two person minimum, paid for when you book your campsite. You can select from smoked pulled pork, BBQ chicken, Smoked ribs or the vegetarian selection, baked spaghetti squash stuffed with a blend of marinara, roasted zucchini, yellow squash and bell peppers, topped with parmesan cheese. Sides served with the dinner include roasted corn on the cob ( in season), potato salad, homemade Horseshoe beans, corn bread and blackberry cobbler . You provide the beverage. Guests meander over to the cook tent at about 6 pm and enjoy dinner seated around tables and chairs complete with plates, cups and silverware. Dinner is served by reservation only on Saturday nights. Dinner is $30.00 per person. 24 hour advance notice required so your food is always fresh. Breakfast ( described in intro above, is $15 per person) THE PROPERTY Just what is Cowboy Camp, you might ask. The traditional definition refers to sleeping outside under the stars with only a bedroll, a fire and the night sky for companions. But if you are a fan of the western genre and lifestyle, you might also know it as a place to go to hang out with like minded folks and experience the Cowboy lifestyle. This includes all people, men and women alike, as the term "Cowboy" is largely generic and not gender oriented. A taste of that lifestyle is what we are offering here at our Cowboy Camp. HORSES It wouldn't be Cowboy Camp without horses and they are definitely present. They can be heard whinnying at mealtimes and throughout the day as they keep in touch with each other. They are generally quiet at night. Horses are not allowed in camping areas when campers are present. No farm would be complete without chickens and ours is no exception. A few hens can generally be seen wandering around the barn searching for bugs, We do not have a rooster, so guests can sleep peacefully. We are offering camping sites ranging from simple tent sites with fire ring, picnic table and soft sandy tent sites to small cabin type tents with beds and electricity. As part of your cowboy camp experience you can sign up for a horsemanship lesson involving handling and grooming horses and time spent working with the horse in the round pen. (There is no actual riding such as a trail ride offered at this time, we are working on that). You can also sign up for a roping lesson. Learn to throw a loop and catch "Little blue", our roping dummy steer head. HIKES AND BIKES We also have games of horseshoes ( with real horseshoes) and corn hole boards. You can take a hike around the property on our trail through mature Douglas fir and majestic Western cedar forest. A 1/4 mile walk down our quiet country gravel road will take you to the 80 acre Jefferson County Land trust forest with several beautiful trails meandering through mature uncut forest. These trails are suitable for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. That forest further connects to the Cappy's trail system, a network of several miles of trails that will wind around and eventually lead into Port Townsend itself if you choose to venture into town. Or you can choose to travel via mountain bike or foot approximately one mile down the road to the DNR forest property that will lead you through more gorgeous wooded and open areas to access the Larry Scott trail, a 7.3 mile out and back firm surface multi-use trail that leads either out of town through the woods or to the north directly into Port Townsend along the scenic waterfront. Our beautiful piece of property is comprised of almost 11 acres situated on the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula just outside the quaint Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend. It lies approximately 4 miles from downtown with its many art galleries, restaurants, shops, boat harbor, farmer's market and the historic Rose theater. The farm itself is located within a section of old growth forest comprised of 100 year old Doug Firs, cedar trees and alder groves. There is an open pasture area in the center of the property, which is ringed completely by thick stands of forest, so it feels completely private. You have to look closely to see the neighboring two houses through the forest. The horses are excluded from camping areas during your visit, and will most likely be housed on neighboring property while guests are present. No need to worry about curious horses coming into your campsite to say hello. It is a wildlife paradise with frequent visits from local deer, bald eagles, ducks on the pond, owls nesting in the trees, and coyotes travelling through. The frog pond is alive all night with singing. If you are a light sleeper you might consider earplugs. We have created a walking trail through the forest around the land that is full of the sounds of life and birds. A pileated woodpecker makes its home in the back corner and two pairs of barred owls also inhabit the nearby Douglas firs. They can be heard at night calling out as they settle in for the evening. An important note for the walking explorer, please be aware that many areas of the farm are in their natural state. This means you might encounter prickly plants such as star thistle, nettles and tansy ragwort. We are happy to identify these for you if you are unfamiliar with them. Please be aware and dress in long pants and long sleeves while hiking. There are no poisonous snakes present in this region. We train horses here so there is a full size riding arena and training round pen. On any given day, you might see horses being trained and ridden. MORE ABOUT THE FOOD At the end of your day of adventures, you can opt to sign up ( when your site is booked) for a delicious feast at Cowboy Camp. Using old time traditional Dutch oven cooking techniques and slow smoking methods, meals are comprised of such items as slow cooked smoked pork shoulder or ribs, Dutch oven baked "Horseshoe Beans" ( a crowd favorite), fire roasted corn on the cob (in season) , homemade potato salad, green spinach salad, and of course dessert such as homemade blackberry cobbler or pineapple upside down cake. Vegetarian selections are also available upon request. ADVENTURES CLOSE BY Venturing out from the farm you can sign up to go on a whale watching excursion with Puget Sound Express out of Port Townsend. Seeing a whale is guaranteed or you get a free return trip. Also, the Olympic National Park is only a short one hour drive to the west and the view from Hurricane Ridge is not to be missed. Your Hosts: Property owners Karma and Rick come with a long extensive history of experience in the horse industry and western culture. Together they share over 100 years of experience with horses, both having ridden since young children. Karma loves sharing her knowledge of horses and horsemanship with others and has been a certified riding instructor for many years. Rick grew up with a horse and cattle background from a young age. As a young man he competed in the rodeo sports of bareback broncs, calf roping, bull riding and team roping. He then worked as a professional farrier, horse trainer and ranch employee in Texas. He learned the art of Texas BBQ cooking while living and working on Texas ranches. He loves to cook for others and enjoys sharing tales of the ranch life. You can choose to be as involved as you like during your visit. You can sit quietly in the forest and just enjoy peace and quiet if you so desire. We will not bother you. There is additional space on site to put up tents for extra guests. - Site 2 boasts space for two tents, a picnic table, hammock, and a fire pit, so that you can unwind and relax among the trees. Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will find themselves just minutes from connecting to all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer! Ideally situated between Port Angeles and Sequim you'll have easy access to city amenities, local farms, and the Olympic National Park within minutes.
