The spot is overlooking Black Rock draw where you can watch the sun sink into the Solitaro. There is always the possibility of wild animal sightings from Rattlesnakes to Black Bears. You can hike the trails in the area or ATV the famous Hen Egg Road to the top of the world lookout, or just enjoy the peace of the desert. Come and see the Milky Way like never before in our dark sky community. We are located 45 minutes north of the ghost town between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. High-clearance vehicle recommended. Use South County Road to access the camp without 4 wheel drive.
