Great find!

We totally enjoyed staying at Redtail Ranch! The hosts were amazing, helpful, and welcoming! We went to the Wamego Tulip Festival down the road from the campsite and enjoyed ourselves.

Great stop on the way to Colorado!

They were so nice and accommodating! We stoped for one night and they made sure we were safe with how cold it was outside!

If you don’t need power/water hookups, there are lots of places to set up camp on this property. Melanie helped us pick out a good spot, and John stopped by later to invite us to take shelter in their house if the tornado watch that was in effect when we arrived turned into something more serious. Great hosts!

This location is great if you are interested in exploring downtown Wamego! We had an amazing day shopping downtown and were happy to return to our Hipcamp at night.

Even though I booked last minute, Melanie and John ensured I had any and all amenities needed. We had great conversations around an impromptu camp fire set up. Great time. Highly recommend!

Very helpful Hosts, easy in and out. Full hook up was a definite plus. Offered much more than we needed. There are a number of local museums worth visiting but be aware they are closed on Mondays.
