The River Edge site is a cleared area along the Plover River which includes a cracked granite fire pit, concrete bench, and nearby picnic table. It is an ideal site for tent camping.
Site 2 – Woodland Fern Site
The Woodland Fern site is a large shady site among mature trees ideal for tent or hammock camping. The site includes two cleared areas and a portable fire pit. There are lovely benches along the river and hammock chairs nearby.
Site 3 – Boardwalk Trail Site
The wooded Boardwalk Trail opens to secluded grassy site ideal for tent or hammock camping. A stone fire pit is included.

!!UPDATE APRIL 2026! We experienced massive flooding at our campsite due to rain and snowmelt on April 15, 2026. We also sustained large tree loss on the property due to an ice storm in early April. Due to this, the area beyond the main campsite is UNAVAILABLE until further notice. That includes the walking trail and swimming area. Main campsite area including fire pit and fishing hole are open. Swimming at the main site is available, but highly recommend water shoes or Crocs due to rocks.

Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54. We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow and mule named Molly, a couple pigs or chickens in the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. A private sanctuary with 30 acres located just north of Waupaca's Chain O' Lakes with groomed hiking and/or biking trails. Terrain is varied with ponds, hills, and valleys. Shower, potable water, and rec room available.
PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues.

Back in the 1800s the land conditions were ideal for a raspberry farm. The original settler's barn and farmhouse were still standing in 1960 when our family obtained the land. Since then, old buildings have diminished back to Earth. What used to be a small creek is now a small pond and trout stream. "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.
The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands.
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!
There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there!

The farm has been in the family for four generations.
We don't have any livestock anymore and rent the fields to the neighbors but the home, outbuildings and five acres are well-loved and used as our home base and also for rustic weddings, graduation parties, reunions and barn dances.
In 1974, the farm was used as the location for the TV movie "Things in Their Season" starring Patricia O'Neal.
We put up one of the first barn quilts in the county and are on the route of the Bike the Barn Quilts bike ride (held last Saturday in September.)

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Camp-Inn Factory (Teardrop Camping). Cary greeted us on arrival and told us to contact him with any concerns. Since we read through the reviews before booking, we knew what to expect. The area was very clean and well maintained. Our dogs enjoyed the open space. We were very careful about them being in the tall grass, so there were no isses with ticks. We enjoyed the fire pit ring (Site #2), and the firewood provided burned really well. The site itself was flat and shaded. Bugs were not a huge issue, but they were present. The bathroom is a short walk away. It's very clean and well stocked. There is a Kwik Trip and a Dollar General less than 5 minutes away. We visited Red Hen Collectibles and Rocky Road Ice Cream. Everything we needed was within a 30 minute drive. The area is so beautiful and well worth another visit sometime soon!

The site was absolutely gorgeous! The bread and jelly are delicious as well! Katie obviously has some experience being outdoors, and had a very accommodating experience for any type of camper. The toilet was very clean and well stocked! The dam and surrounding areas are absolutely gorgeous, and the pike are insanely aggressive to the rapallas I was using! I must’ve caught at least 15-20 from the shore on the first day!

5 nights at Bluegill Haven
We have stayed at this little slice of heaven a few times. We love that Roy has opened up this slice of heaven for others to enjoy. if you love fishing and nature, this is the place! Roy is a great guy, All the wood is cut , if you need anything he will bring it to you. We were there for this visit for 5 days, I caught around 130 fish, bass and blue gill, saw muskrats, heard loons and an owl in the distance, saw cranes, A baby fawn, then next day baby fawn with mom, several different type birds, cardinals, ducks, red wing black birds, many different types, a few turtles. Wonderful place, for peace and quiet.

We stayed on Brian’s land for the high school state trap tournament in Nekoosa. We had water and electric with clear instructions on where to find our site. They have a community bonfire, but it rained on our stay so we did not use it. Brian was friendly and respectful and it was quiet.

Area was big enough for my wrangler and 6 foot trailer, plus maybe a car.
Road to site is steep in parts, but I have a 4x4 so no worries.
Site also has a small plateau that would fit an additional small tent. Would guess 4 could feel comfy.
Another camp site (4?) sits 50 yards from this site and is very visible. Would be great for a separate tent making the two sites (4&5) together a little group thing (6). Otherwise check to see if the small site is booked and maybe grab site 2 or 7.
Majestic clubhouse on site, with a stocked bar if I remember correctly.
Showers, kayak, firewood, and portapotties around and accessible.
Owners super cool peoples.
No winter camping at this property, I believe.
Will stay again and try out site 7 next time.

We enjoyed camping at Weyauwega!!! We stayed for almost 4 days. Our favorite activity was that they offered to drive us upstream to allow us to flow down on canoes or kayaks in the river to fish and get back to the dock at the campsite! We had a large diversity of fish we caught off their dock at the campsite. We caught red horn sucker fish, large mouth, small mouth, blue gills, bullhead catfish, white suckers, and who knows what else because some of our line and bait got off! It was a super relaxing get away and very nice area. Thank you Josh, Brenda, and Olivia for driving us and showing us the area!
