Since then, old buildings have diminished back to Earth. What used to be a small creek is now a small pond and trout stream. We have a cabin, outhouse, outdoor shower and other camping accommodations depending on the camping experience you are looking for!

The property is located on 2 quiet lakes, with great opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating. The swimming area has a great beach and a diving raft (depending on the season). This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special.
"The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.
The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands.
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!
There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there!

Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54. We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow and mule named Molly, a couple pigs or chickens in the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. Our pond front RV site is located on the northern tip of the Kettle Moraine Forest within 300 yards of the hiking trails. 2 miles from the gates at Road America, Elkhart Lake WI, and Elkhart’s swimming, biking trails and great restaurants. 30 Amp power and water hook ups for RV's are available. The Kettle Moraine Ice AgeTrail is just across the pond. The Glenbeulah Millpond offers fishing and kayaking and we provide free use of our kayak and row boat. Local suppliers usually have a bunch of firewood for the included firepit and we include a nice table and chairs for your picnics. Swimming is near by at Elkhart Lake and the mountain biking trails in the Kettle Moraine Forest are wonderful. There is WiFi. We have a dog that is overly friendly and will hang out near your camper. If you want to bring your pets we ask that you talk with us first to make sure they will all get along. We do not have a sewer connection for your black and grey water tanks but there is a dump station just 4 miles away. There are no toilet facilities on site.

Weekend Trip to Clear Water Camp
The campsites were absolutely awesome and very easy to get to. The hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. We really appreciated all the amenities provided, like garbage bags at the site, fire starters, and firewood available right there — with plenty more for sale if you want to have a big bonfire at night.
One of the coolest parts was learning about all the amazing fishing opportunities nearby, and we’re already planning to come back in the future to try them out. The clubhouse was also a huge bonus and really added to the overall experience.
This was actually my first time using the Hipcamp app, and this stay completely exceeded expectations. Overall, an outstanding campground and we’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
Camping with the cows was an amazing experience. Being able to stay in the cabin was a lifesaver considering it was pretty chilly outside. We got the experience of camping at a state park and more.
Ember showed us around the farm and talked to us about how life on the farm is. She was very smart! We ran into Farmer Justin, who was busy with his daily chores, but nice enough to give us a quick rundown of the place.
The cabin has two twin size bunk beds, electrical outlets, an electric heater, card games, and an electric portable stove. There was plenty of open space around the cabin. The pond was very calm, but we didn’t catch any fish on our trip in the canoe.
Would highly recommend this place.

Darryl is one of the best hosts. We actually got stuck in the mud on the way in, and he came out and helped pull our car right away.
We were originally supposed to stay at Firefly, but because it had rained a lot before our trip and my car couldn’t handle the mud, Darryl offered for us to stay at the Fallen Tower site instead. It was very spacious and really nice. Perfect for our dogs.
He also gave us fresh eggs from his farm, which we enjoyed for our breakfast on the second day. The campsite itself was great, clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed like water and toilet.
We brought our 2 dogs and 1 cat with us, and they also enjoyed their stay.
Definitely coming back next time.

Weekend Trip to Purplehaze Acres
This cabin is so warm and welcoming. This is my second stay; this time, it was a retreat to write my master's thesis! This was the perfect writing retreat location, with very few distractions!
I would suggest bringing your own dry wood, as the wood provided was damp and took a long time to get a good fire going. AND...so AirPods to block out the sound of the rooster at 4 am :) Darryl is a generous host, checking in and even getting my car out of the mud when it was time to leave! I can't wait to be back!

The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.
