An L-shaped dining nook seats 3 comfortably. Across the room you'll find wonderful wood-stove for those chilly nights, and a sofa to relax on. A wide ladder leads up to the sleeping loft where you'll find a double -sized (full) futon bed tucked under the window looking out toward the mountains. Given the cabin's size, it is best-suited for couples. There is a nice flat tent-site at the cabin as well. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests at the property at any time. Please note, this is an OFF-GRID cabin with NO ELECTRICITY or RUNNING WATER. You're welcome to bring a portable generator to plug into our lighting system. Marblemount has 3 restaurants open in the summer. The town also a post office. We are 15 minutes from the North Cascades National Park and an entrance to the Pacific Crest Trail. We offer fire wood ($5.00 a bundle), propane fire pits ($10.00 a night, please request ahead via messaging to Heather ) and in season vegetables (price varies depending). You can pay cash or Venmo on site. Please be aware that we have a Firework show for the 4th of July. We really appreciate your interest in our small homestead.

Huge old century-old cedar stumps litter the surrounding woods and you'll see where loggers in the early 1900's cut into the sides to place their springboards. The trees surrounding the property today are mostly fir and alder. The 16'x20' cabin sits tucked back against the forest, looking out with territorial forest and mountain views of the Cascades. Outside you'll find a firepit with chairs and a picnic table for your enjoyment. Off to the side you'll also find our tidy and clean-smelling outhouse. Inside the cabin you'll be surprised at the roominess and open feel given the cabin's dimensions. A counter with sink hides all of your plates, utensils, pots and pans. An L-shaped dining nook seats 3 comfortably. Across the room you'll find wonderful wood-stove for those chilly nights, and a sofa to relax on. A wide ladder leads up to the sleeping loft where you'll find a double -sized (full) futon bed tucked under the window looking out toward the mountains. Given the cabin's size, it is best-suited for couples. There is a nice flat tent-site at the cabin as well. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests at the property at any time. Please note, this is an OFF-GRID cabin with NO ELECTRICITY or RUNNING WATER. You're welcome to bring a portable generator to plug into our lighting system. In the Spring/Summer we have a rain barrel that may provide limited water to the sink for washing only, NOT for drinking. *SEPTEMBER 2025 UPDATE* The neighbor and his camp mentioned in some of the reviews this summer has packed up and moved on, along with his dogs. Weekend Trip to Valhalla Tree Farm

The cabin at Valhalla once again proved to be a wonderful autumn destination to relax amongst the trees, listen to the babbling stream, soak in the sun atop Look Out Rock and cook up some good food around the campfire. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is really an oasis of calm.

Valhalla tree farm is beautiful and so serene. The different birds calling and talking through the sounds of trees moving in high winds, so good! The pup and I went exploring through the property and trails feeling like we were fully in Ferngully. Our shelter camp site on Huckleberry Hill was perfect. Dave clearly puts a lot of thought and care into providing the best experience. Not only was he communicative and responsive, but he was also accommodating. Thanks to the shelter at our site, we didn’t drown in the torrential downpour! This property is highly rated, the pup and I agree 💯

We had a lovely Fall stay this weekend in our little camper. We loved the sounds of the coyote calls through the night. They were quite talkative but it was fun to hear the wildlife around us! My dog really enjoyed having the freedom and space to run and play. The quaint town of Duvall is super close so we enjoyed a beautiful brunch before packing up for home.

Loved the site, will say be on the lookout though on wild animals as we had an overnight visit from some coyotes so keep that in mind for small animals if off leash. Only con is mainly a 1 way road once in property so when we arrived there was another vehicle trying to leave so caused some issues. Overall beautiful and clean worth the trip over!

Valhalla is everything you want in a campsight and more. The land is beautiful and so peaceful. The sites are spread out for privacy and there's a few different types, including cabins so you're sure to find something that you'll like . The roads are well maintained. There's drinkable spring water from a faucet at every site. Trails all throughout the property to explore and a creek to play in. It's a paradise and the host, Dave is a great guy. Friendly, helpful and very responsive. It's obvious he's put a lot of work and love into the property. Can't wait to go back!

beautiful cute and quaint campsite. lovely couple that gave so many great recs and info on the site. celebrated my friends bday and first time camping for him and he said it was a lovely experience. very well kept area and grass was still soft in late sept. 10/10 would recommend especially if you dont want to camp with other campers around and prefer more secluded area without it being too far from the city (30 mins away from downtown seattle) and owners are nearby but never saw them throughout the trip just to say hello and goodbye:) thank you for the beautiful stay. also depending when you go they have lots of fruit - apple on trees and grapes on the vine in late September!

The yurt was such a great experience! It was decked out with everything you could possibly need (chargers, flashlights, batteries) & the kitchen had all necessary supplies. The driving and parking directions were very clear. The land is beautiful. It was a bit louder than expected, with sound traveling across from other neighbors in the AM, but other than that our experience was great and I would go back again!
