This was a great location, close to North Cascades. The field was wide with lots of space for kids to run around. The overhead covering was also a plus, we parked right underneath and had access to shore power. Would recommend.

The property was beautiful, we loved having our close friends in one private spot. Down poured the first day, but no issues with the ground getting saturated. Once the clouds cleared, realized we had a great view of Baker. The beach is a bit of a walk off property, but worth the trek. Thanks for letting us stay!

About a 1 acre mowed field with several electric outlets, a huge covered gravel pad for a tall tv, a picnic bench, a very nice and easy to move fire pit, and a hand pump for water that we guess is for washing off etc (I don’t know if it is potable or not). The plot is surrounded by a large field on a secluded road well away from Mount Baker Highway. We brought our teardrop camper and a little home-made compost toilet. There’s trees and bushes to block your view of the little road that leads to this site. Amazing views of Mount Baker and another mountain. We dropped the camper and then went to north cascades park the the Diablo lake overlook. Stopped at a few other places. This made the drive much easier on us without pulling the teardrop and having to worry about parking it when we stopped. There’s no noise pollution or light pollution. The price was right! If I ran this place I would hire a company to maintain a porta potty. That’s the only thing I would have liked but we worked it out. Thank you for having us!

Absolutely ideal spot. As described and as excepted. It’s a well cared for area, plenty of privacy and a HUGE amount of space. Walk to the river was on a cute shady trail, slightly confusing to find the first time but apparent once you are there. Space to spread out on the river. There is some neighborhood type noise during the day and people enjoying the area on quads (this was not an issue but noting if you are bothered by noises around). We loved it and will come back again. Camp area was wonderfully maintained including dry firewood and fire pit. Hosts were kind and introduced themselves to make sure we didn’t need anything but otherwise gave us privacy to enjoy family time.

Very quiet area, with a nice walk to a beach on Skagit River. Didn’t think I’d put our unit under the large metal shed as there was no chance of rain. But my wife pointed out that it would shade the trailer nicely - which came in very handy in the 94 degree heat wave while we were there. My dog loved playing/swimming in the river and chasing her ball down the acre long mowed, grassy lot.

I loved having a full acre all to myself. 30 amp hookup worked perfectly. They have an optional shaded area you can park under which we used because it was hot during our stay. Kids had fun using the hand pumped well water. Less than 10 minute walk from the river. Took a dip in the water but it was quite cold as it is glacier runoff. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location. Perfect for a family with a pup to run and play. Hosts were super considerate and attentive- there was a brief power outage and Heidi came to check on us to make sure we were ok and kept us informed. The Skagit river was beautiful and we spent the day on Lake Shannon. Great trip and would definitely book again!

I have to admit I’m reluctant to write this review because selfishly I want the place to myself. That being said I can’t think of a downfall of this beautiful property. Unless you don’t like beautiful views a whole spot to yourself a short hike to a wonderful river. Not to mention a quick drive to town to get the kiddos some ice cream. All in all a wonderful 4 days and we can’t wait to come back.

If you seek privacy…..this is the spot for you!
We love to get a way from the hustle and bustle of life. This was a beautiful, well kept and pristine property! It would be perfect for a large group of friends/family or reunion. They have five nice flat spaces with hookups. We took advantage of the well on the property when we were running low on water.
The hosts are very helpful and attentive. They do not stay on the property, but they are just across the street if you need them. I love the fact that they gave us full privacy! Some owners can be very intrusive, so this was much appreciated!!! We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful, peaceful spot. My husband said he’d go back - it was his favorite trip to date! I have to agree! The river was a bit of a walk, but well worth it! There was no one ever on that part of the river or beach! The riverbank is nice and sandy. The water is not ice cold like further up in the mountains.

This camp site was fantastic! Clean camp space, large canopy to get out of the sun/rain, and incredible views. The short walk to the river is easy and the beach/section of the river is truly stunning! Gorgeous mountain views, green/turquoise water, small rock pools, and sand! R&H were the most fantastic hosts and we cant wait to go back!

Sight was nice and private with all the room in the world. We chose to post up under the carport for the shade and kept dry with the rain that came through the following day. Nice base camp to hit Northern Cascades and spend a day at Diablo Lake. Maps were provided for the surrounding area with River access and multiple beaches. Would absolutely stay again!

This is a great spot near the natl park and Rockport state park. There’s a pick your own berry farm nearby as well. Fantastic area for camping in general.
The site is easy to find. It’s wide open and clean. And it’s walkable to their river access. They’ve built a massive carport for shade. They left us firewood for the fire pit too.

We have now camped at Bakerview getaway twice and loved it! It’s an open grass field with beautiful views. It’s perfect for our two kids and dogs. They added a really nice power set up for multiple hook ups. The site is a quick walk to the river with a sandy area to hang out and play. We will definitely go back!
