Valley Camping by the Goats
I spent six days on the farm in late September, and it was excellent. Such a beautiful, special place. I loved being neighbor to the goat men, and having my morning coffee in their company. I highly recommend the farm tour; it was awesome to have Grace show me around and tell me the farm’s stories. So good!! Also the soap. I really really loved the goat soap. :)

We love this farm and the goats and people who live there. The goats are hilarious, the greenhouse dome filled with exotic fruit is inspiring. Invest in the farm tour as well, it is well worth it if you love plants and farms like we do. Wonderful as usual! Thank you so much!

We had two lovely nights. The farm has an incredible tropical greenhouse as well as humorous, friendly goats. We explored the farm, went on walks and relaxed at our campsite. It's only about 20 minutes to Port Townsend. We walked through the historic district and Fort Worden, then came back to our campsite to chill.
This spot is really unique. It's just off the highway but feels like it's miles into the country. Bonus that it only has one spot so we had the farm to ourselves. We'll definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful time at the Farm, the Goats were hilarious, the geodesic greenhouse is packed with exotic and rare fruit, accomodations were great. The farm tour was well worth it, thank you for a very fun trip!

Parked our van right into the camp site! I si t a water station to wash hands was lovely! Enjoyed having a map of the farm so we could explore and feeding the goats bamboo leaves!

Staying at Grace's beautiful farm was a great experience. We loved exploring the property and sleeping right next to the goats. It is also really close to Port Townsend, which now holds the title of our favorite small town. Would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location for fishing the Quimper Peninsula! Easy to find, everything I needed for a comfortable stopover; a quiet and partly shaded area to park my van, clean portapotty close by with a handwash station, table and chairs to enjoy a view of the goats.
Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here! It is nestled in a very picturesque valley and we loved wandering the farm and seeing the goats. The bathroom was very clean. There is lots of good space for pitching your tent! Lots of great communication and easy to find.

My 8 and 11 yo old absolutely loved getting to feed bamboo leaves to the goats.
The farm is a very natural / hollistic homey type place-
Grace very much lived up to her name- graceful, and kind.

Grace isgreat communicator and accommodating. Had a change of plans did not sleep the night there but enjoyed seeing the farm and getting some beautiful vegetables from the farm. It’s an amazing location as a launchpad to Port Townsend and surrounding Olympic Peninsula.

Just a wonderful visit. The space was perfectly set up for campers with thoughtful touches. The land is beautiful and so are the people - thank you Grace and Ben! Our daughter especially loved the goats and tropical greenhouse on our farm tour. Close to Chimacum Farm stand and market and Finn River. We cannot wait to come back!

yes, as others have commented, the noise from the road can be a little disturbing at first, but eventually it becomes white noise.

Great spot down by the goats! Felt plenty private and we only saw one person during our time there. We got in before dark and took a self guided tour of the farm. Was really nice.
Road was a bit noisy, but it’s hard to get away from people entirely when you’re this close to Seattle.

We turned into the easy-to-find property and good signage directed us where to go. Grace had left a veggie welcome for us on the table-so sweet! We appreciate their passion to restore the land & farm in a sustainable way.
Geodome was super cool! Hard to believe it’s all grown within 7 years. From the citrus to a coffee plant - everything is so happy growing there! Baby goats…enough said! They welcome you to wander the property and observe all they have going on. BEAUTIFUL garden and greenhouse. I had fun identifying some vegetables with my plant app. Learned a few things and just loved the entire Chimacum area.
We enjoyed the small hometown feel of the Chimacum farmer’s market on Sunday (Which Kodama had a booth at). Nursery/ store next door too. Don’t miss FinnRiver cidery nearby. An experience in itself. Could’ve spent hours there.
Campsite- yes we camped by two male goats, but smell wasn’t ever noticed. They’re sort of entertaining! The area is large with a fire pit and nice patio table w4 chairs. We had a 16’ trailer and room to spare. There’s a porta potty about 40 steps away…just right. It was clean and had hand sanitizer. The north side has a row of bamboo to provide privacy and wind break. But our weather was perfect! Theres a faucet if water is needed for dishes, etc. We brought our own lanterns. There’s some street noise but we sleep with white noise anyway. Didn’t take away from our wonderful experience at all. We would highly recommend this hip camp!

Really enjoyed camping on Grace’s farm! It was a really nice vibe being close to the goat pen. Smell wasn’t an issue at all. Agree with other comments that you will hear road noise but it wasn’t disruptive. Would definitely stay again!

Kodama Farm saved me last minute (as in, I requested to book maybe 4hrs ahead of time) from a 4am start in Seattle>Port Angeles ending in being smoked out to the point I had to call off the backpacking trip. 6/5 stars, 11/10 recommend, if you’re on the fence— book now!! Kodama Farm is gorgeous & the campsite itself is idyllic. The site is down next to one of the goat pens, semi surrounded by small trees/plants so you have some naturally given privacy (example- one side has a trained apple tree border & there is a bamboo border around one side of the goat pen— so fun to walk through, it feels like a secret garden path!) There’s two wooden benches, a fire pit, a patio table/set of chairs, and the most adorable wooden lay-back lounge chairs!
The farm itself is amazing too. Their solar powered tropical greenhouse is beyond anything I imagined! Successful, sustainably grown citrus is rad to see here in WA. Kodama also has veggie row crops, and even heading into winter they are so well cared for and thriving! The layout is so practical and very nice on the eyes as a bonus. Bug (an aggressively affectionate kitty), River (farm pup), Cecil and Iroh (male goats next to the campsite) were the icing on the cake (+ the chickens, ducks, and lady goats too of course). All of the folks I met were so welcoming and kind, even though it’s a working farm and you’re there during working hours. I hope all of you at Kodama have a great end of season & i hope to stay next year! Thanks so much!

The site itself is very nice with a table and chairs and a firepit on a large brick pad. Cleanest porta-john I've ever seen a short ways away. Yes, you can smell the nearby adjacent couple of goats but it's not overwhelming. And, as noted in the description, there is road noise from Hwy 19, so that wasn't a surprise. What was unexpected was how much of it and the fact that it was continuous through the night. Might be that I couldn't really tune it out and was hearing it in the middle of the night too. Otherwise, it's all good for a site on a farm (as clearly described up front) rather than tucked away in the forest.

It was awesome! There was a little bit of road noise because of the proximity to the highway, but the farm is absolutely gorgeous and the goats were so cute and the site was very well equipped. We absolutely loved doing the farm tour!

This camp spot feels safe and protected. As a solo camper I appreciate that the farmhouse is within eyeshot of the campsite. The goats are fun. I do wish there was water on site just for washing up, so pack your own for now.

Great place to camp. Very Clean bathroom is available. My kids loved the goats although they are very smelly when they get close to the fence but fortunately at night the wind help with the smell.

Sweet spot to camp with friendly hosts. Campsite was awesome for our camper van, and kiddo loved the goats! Lots to do in easy driving distance.
