Whether you're chasing waterfalls, hitting the trails, or just relaxing under the stars, this is the perfect rustic home base for hikers, skiers, and weekend wanderers.

Please arrive @ daylight âď¸Use the Rivershack as your basecamp to the Stevens Pass area. 22 miles from the Ski Area - so much to do and see. One block away from the river. One hour to Leavenworth Bavarian Village.
Park your vehicle behind our gate in the gravel driveway. Access to power, internet, firepit ring, pic-nic table in a treed setting.
Fenced on 3 sides, we allow well mannered pets as long as they are on leash cleaned up after. Paved road, usually plowed about a quarter mile off Highway 2, near the River and Baring Store. Driveway is not ploughed - road usually is.
You can hear the train in the distance (we are farther away from the train than most other sites nearby.)
Bring your own water and remove your potty waste and trash. Bring your own firewood.
Fun things nearby: Sultan Bakery, Wallace Falls, Index, Barclay Creek, Eagle Falls, Skykomish, Iron Goat Trail, Leavenworth and more! Skiing, hiking trails, fishing!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! We do not have water or potty. You need to bring your own water, remove your potty waste and trash. Dogs may never be left on property unattended. No illegal drugs of any kind. No parties - not a place to entertain. GREAT place to relax and chill!
We have plans to finish the roof on our outdoor room, make an additional parking space, and will consider more people and 2 vehicles case by case- please inquire.
FOOD: Baring Store is very close by and will re-open in the fall 2024, Rico's Pizza delivers to Baring around 4pm if they have an extra driver. , we love The Sand Bar for a glass of wine or beer - pet friendly and can sit outside. Sky River Coffee, Espresso Chalet, Sky Deli and pizza, and a few others. Best to bring your groceries with you up the mountain. Gas in Gold Bar and Skykomish. Note: in heavy snow you may need to bring and use a snow shovel to be able to open the gate.
