Boundary Bridge Retreat
Gorgeous VERY secluded area
A forest fire kicked us out of Robin’s land but the property was gorgeous. It’s deep out in the woods in full seclusion. It’s right on the bank of a huge river and the sound of it makes the experience so serene. We will be back after the forest fire loosens up :)

Boundary Bridge Retreat
Very good experience — so much room for 2 and a dog! Really nice private part of the river with the ability to take plenty of walks up and down the rocks. You’ll want to make sure you consolidate your stuff before you head to the site so as to not be walking the .2 back and forth from your car. Robin was a helpful host!

Boundary Bridge Retreat
Great stay. Would recommend.
Robin met us in Darrington to show us to the site. He was very welcoming and nice. The beach was large, right on the river, and beautiful. Would happily stay here again. Oh. And the stars on a clear night were stunning.

Loved Robin's place! We had about a whole river bank to select our spot from and it was completely private, with beautiful views of snow capped peaks and the rushing river. Be ready for about a .25 mile walk from where you park to carry your things.

Boundary Bridge Retreat
Amazing
Immaculate campsite on a beautiful river. Robin was wonderful and so graciously met us in a nearby town to take us to the spot. Felt very private and safe :)

Boundary Bridge Retreat
Beautiful River
First off, let me start by saying the land and sites are breathtaking. Being right on the river was more than I could have imagined and wish I could have stayed longer! That said, there were some things that I feel the listing should be more transparent about. Such as, there is a decent hike down to the sites so PACK LIGHT! There were parts of the trail that weren't very well kept so it was tough to squeeze through with all the gear at times. Also, a couple people from our group fell in the water while trying to cross the log bridge so bring an extra change of clothes :P. We had also hoped the site was going to be to ourselves and would have the ability to utilize the cook shack but there were 3 other parties staying on the sites and the cook shack was directly in one of those camps. All the parties were really nice and welcoming but just unexpected. Would still absolutely stay here again but now have a better idea of what to anticipate.

Boundary Bridge Retreat
4th of July weekend getaway
Overall we had such a great weekend and the view/beach camping set up was perfect! I will say the pictures and description was a little misleading as we figured we would have access to the shed for cooking/cover however the hosts family was staying there so I would definitely ask prior if there is anyone already at that site. The other sites were great- right on a sandy beach overlooking the creek, it was absolutely beautiful, and not too close to your neighbor but I don’t see more than 3 groups fitting comfortably so might want to ask about that as well. Be prepared to hike in quite a bit, so PACK LIGHT, we were not aware and had way too many items to be hiking back and forth from the car (maybe 1/4 mile) but that is our fault. Again, it was an awesome weekend and Robin was very courteous, he even said if it wasn’t for COVID he usually invited people to his camp while he played guitar/banjo. :)

Boundary Bridge Retreat
Absolutely stunning
Most amazing camping experience till date. Robin is a super nice person. He waited for us in Darrington( nearest town with signal ) and took us to the site about half an hour from the town to ensure we find the place. The site is miles deep into a beautiful forest with a view of snowcapped mountains and a sound of gushing suiattle river. We parked our cars, did a small hike down to the river (had to also cross a small creek on the way with water upto knees, which was fun!) where the host gave us the entire river beach and let us choose our spot :). This camping site has everything we were looking for - peace, stunning views, seclusion. Definitely going to come back :)

Boundary Bridge Retreat
The Boundary Bridge camping spot is nestled away in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest next to the Suiattle River. Aside from the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the sound of the river, one of my favorite things about this camping spot were the funky little trinkets that can be found all over the place. This added so much charm and character, which you don’t really find at other camp grounds. Another great thing about this spot was that there was a little cooking shack which was great for taking cover when the rain hit hard. The river is just a stone’s throw away which was awesome since we ran out of water but brought our handy water filters. Not only was it perfect for aiding in making coffee and food but it was beautiful too! Would also be perfect for a dip when the weather is warm. Overall, a great time was had at Boundary Bridge camp ground! I would also highly recommend checking out the little brewery (River Time Brewing) that is in Darrington - great beer!
