Private, serene just off SR 2... 3 cabins and 2 RV's...these cabins are called Glamping cabins...that's glorified camping 🏕️ all surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and located along the north side of the Southfork Skykomish River. Most sites offer views of the river, with some looking through the trees and others enjoying wide-open vistas.
Porta potties, communal kitchen and fire pits. 🔥Dish and hand washing stations and The RV's have indoor bathrooms with running water 💦 no showers. 🚿 all cabins are BYO Bedding and they all have a queen size bed. Best for 2 people but some units have room for one or two more depending on if you bring sleeping mats. ( we can provide blow up mattress or pad and bedding/sleeping bags for extra fee)
All units are about 100 ft apart with nice privacy. The Toy Hauler is close to the Chalet Cabin... and that unit is only available if The Chalet guests want more room or the nice bathroom . 🏕️

A few guests have commented on possibly encountering a cobweb or a critter 🍁🏕️we live in nature along with these critters... yes we have squirrels we also have a cat that takes care of the the smaller critters 😅🎃

Only the Cedar RV the Naughty Pine Chalet and Toy Hauler have heat. Das Treehaus and A-Frame are not insulated but are still cozy 🍁
Located near a variety of outdoor activities, the property is just 1 mile from the town of Index and a 5-minute walk to the Mt. Index Sandbar Tavern 🍺, which is dog- and kid-friendly. It's also very close to the trailhead for Lake Serene and bridal Val Falls.
Hoping for a good ski season this year we are about a half hour from Stevens Pass ⛷️

This property is a Native American homestead.
We are located in Marblemount, WA along the Cascade river. Every site we have you can hear the river and walk to in less that 5 minutes. There is an amazing rocky beach along the river with the view of mountains all around.
We are located 4 minutes from the town of Marblemount were there is 2 gas stations with some food and drink items, propane and a small hardware section year round. Marblemount has 3 restaurants open in the summer. The town also a post office.
We are 15 minutes from the North Cascades National Park and an entrance to the Pacific Crest Trail.
We offer fire wood ($5.00 a bundle), propane fire pits ($15.00 a night, please request ahead via messaging to Heather ) and in season vegetables (price varies depending). You can pay cash or Venmo on site.
Please be aware that we have a Firework show for the 4th of July.
We really appreciate your interest in our small homestead.

There's also a large garden bed available. Mowing and light weeding would be needed. Electric and water available. No sewage available. Just a couple of minutes from the i5. Chom's RV Campground staff have been working on an extensive remodel, so bare with us as we are new here too! (Update:work has paused on buildings) Camping is unaffected as there are still plenty of woods to explore here. The initial appearance of the old laundry(to be restored in near future), might send confusion. The bathrooms are completely ready to use and we have hot showers!
Also, we just finished making an amazing nature walk along the river, where you can find blackberries, huckleberries, salmon berries, and even apples, (depending on the time of year). There are birds to watch, among many other types of wildlife. I will be adding more pictures of more campsites soon!

Gold Basin 2015 Closure: The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest has closed this campground for the 2015 season pending a geological study. All other campgrounds along the Mtn. Loop Highway are unaffected. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back for updates for the 2016 season.
