Tons of space for a large group, and multiple picnic tables/cooking areas for meal prep. The fire pit is large and a great spot for nighttime hangouts. A flushing toilet and running water for washing hands and dishes is super nice, along with the convenience of a dumpster to avoid dragging trash home. River access was very easy and provides the main attraction for extracurricular activities. The beach is big enough for large groups. The group site does not feel secluded or particularly private but similar to camping at most public campgrounds. Cell coverage (T-Mobile) in the area was decent!

I unfortunately had to cancel my trip due to a family medical emergency and am SO disappointed. I’m familiar with the general area and it’s beautiful. The site pictures and descriptions assured us this was a must-see destination for a family camping adventure! And even though I cancelled very last minute, the host very graciously issued a generous partial refund, very much appreciated! If you have littles who love to play in nature this is a perfect spot! I can’t wait to rebook!
