Kicked out later in the day to hike Sauk Mountain with my fiancée. When we finished the hike we stopped to get some burgers at a fantastic place before setting up camp. It was a very nice clearing mowed out with a cute fire pit.

Jared was an excellent host. The area was private and secluded, with everything we needed for a great time. The fire pit was well-maintained. It's conveniently located near the national park entrance.

We loved camping under the stars on Jared’s property! It was a perfect spot for a meteor shower watch party. The detailed directions made the campsite easy to find. We were able to rent a propane fire pit for the evening since real campfires are currently banned. The Portapotty is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen!

Incredible time camping here with a group of 8! Beautiful views of the mountains, and a short drive to Baker Lake. Dogs barked a bit on our second night but just for a few minutes, would bring earplugs just in case. 100% would stay again.

Jared's place was great! Quiet, plenty of space, and far enough off the highway where it doesn't seem too noisy. Nice, flat grass area to set uo camp, Jared gave clear instructions on how to get there, and comparable to pricing for crowded public campgrounds nearby. 10/10

This site was so beautiful and peaceful! The goat roamed around and grazed for a bit. The dogs barking in the distance made it a bit difficult to get to sleep but we were pretty tired from all the hiking that day so it wasn’t too bad. Overall I would definitely recommend!!

A very peaceful little spot to camp for the night. I’d highly recommend this to vanlifers as the ground is super level. I camp in my 4Runner and it was great for that too! Felt super safe.

I loved this spot and we had a great time! The host checked in with us when we arrived to make sure we were comfy. Our spot was in direct sun all day, it didn't bother us, especially since we were out adventuring most of the time, but a sun shade might be a good thing to have! The bathroom situation was clean. I'd definitely stay here again.

This was one of our favorite sites. The boys loved having a whole field to run around in and throw the frisbee. Plus, the view is incredible both morning and night. The only downside is hearing dogs bark most of the night but that’s all part of staying on a farm- they are working animals!

A wonderful stay with a gracious host! The views were beautiful, the property was peaceful and private, and the porta-potty was spotless. We had a fantastic time and truly appreciated the hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is fine- the fire pit is nice & good Mountain View. Theres zero privacy and zero shade which shouldn’t come as a surprise if you looked at photos. Although the sites are distanced from each other around the meadow. Port a potty was maintained adequately. The owner mentions dogs on neighboring property and o did hear them occasionally but it was not a big deal at all, and I’m very sensitive to noise.

Site 2 - Private Mt View RV
We had our new trailer with us and this site was perfect. The pasture was blooming, neighboring horses grazed the fence line every morning and evening, and the night sky was so clear. The other campers were on the far side of the pasture so it still felt very private. Great location for day trips exploring North Cascades National Park.

We loved it! Very secluded spot with a great east-facing view of the mountain and sunrise. Night sky views were spectacular. Campsite was clean and easy to access. Follow the host’s directions to the farm, because Apple Maps may put you in a neighboring farm’s driveway and on the wrong side of the fence.
Also, the overall location is a nice midway point between Concrete’s restaurants/stores and Rockport’s fishing spots or further on to North Cascades NP.

Stayed here during early September. Directions were easy. Great open space good for combination of tents or trailers. We didn't have to share the space so we had it all to ourselves. POrta potty was clean and easily accessible. Only downside are the dogs. Most nights they were fine with sporadic barking, but one night something was setting them off till late (11pm). Would definitely recommend and book again!

Great location and views. Only 30 miles to North Cascades NP. One other camp site on the property across the field so it was pretty private. No crowds or hustle was super relaxing making for a nice quiet weekend.

The kids loved the open field which was perfect for playing Frisbee and trackball and stargazing. The bathroom was clean and smelled fresh and the area was secluded and beautiful. Jared provided thorough instructions and additional information to make the stay more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
We were camping with a teenager. When we drove up the road he started complaining that he didn't want to camp in another sketchy person's front yard. Then we pulled into the pasture and he said it was the most awesome camp site ever.
From the adults: the site was everything advertised. It was easy to find, pristine, and had an incredible view. Honey Bucket on site was regularly serviced. Fire pit was large enough to prevent stray flames. Burn ban at the time so we could not use it. Great view of the night sky too!

Full sun exposure at Site 1

Site 2 - Private Sauk Mountain View Pasture
The campsite is very nice, however, it was fully exposed to the sun. The temperatures during my stay was in the 80s, making it very hard to hang around the site while the sun was out. There were a ton of bugs, which I know is not the fault of the owner, but just be aware if you're squeamish like myself. Every step I took on the grass resulted in a handful of grasshoppers jumping up erratically. There were also wasp-like insects that were attracted to my car (white) so I felt trapped inside my car the entire time. The porta potty was very full and stinky (according the the cleaning/maintenance schedule posted, the last time it was maintained was on 7/1 and I checked in 7/13-7/15) . The hand sanitizer dispenser inside the porta potty was completely empty as well, making me dread bathroom time. I couldn't wait to check out, unfortunately. Other than the porta potty (there's nothing that can be done about the insects), the location itself was nice. There was a warning that you may hear the neighboring property owner's dogs barking, but it sounded pretty far away and did not prevent me from sleeping at all. If you book this place in the Summer, just know that it can get very hot (especially in Site 1, which gets full sun exposure until sundown). It would be nice if there was a car tent you can park under, which my previous hipcamp site provided because they knew the site was fully exposed to the sun.

This is such a lovely, private spot - it’s beautiful and secluded and the stars on a clear night are magnificent. The ground is flat and great for tents, and the porta-potty is well maintained. We did hear the dogs occasionally at night but it wasn’t disruptive, and if you’re concerned about barking, ear plugs would more than do the job. We’ll definitely be back again soon - a perfect base camp for all kinds of adventures in the North Cascades and Mt. Baker Wilderness.
