Learn more about this land: We are a 501c3 Farm Sanctuary! We care for 70+ farm animals. You can follow us @onalaskafarmsanctuary on Facebook or Instagram. The camping area is nowhere near the animals or the rescue. But it does help support them! Our 45 acre parcel is "no frills camping" 15 minutes from Interstate 5. We are one hour from Mt Rainer and one hour and fifteen minutes from Mt Saint Helens. The camping area is an old christmas tree farm. We maintain two spots for camping. We have one porta-potty shared between campsites. Each campsite has one picnic table, fire-ring and access to a porta-potty. The area is quiet and secluded. Black-tailed Columbian deer are regular visitors, while the barn owls will serenade you in the evening. You will be able to see ALL the stars! The road is suitable for small RVs, campervans, truck camping, small school buses, and cars (as long as the cars have some ground clearance). Not suitable for Class A RVs. It is an old logging road made of compacted rock. Cell service is OK. Upload/download speeds might be slow.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We look forward to hosting you!

This will be an odd review because I have not been to the site yet. I made a reservation for earlier in September but then had difficulty getting my van back from an up fitter. I could not make my previously paid for reservation, but Barb has been absolutely terrific!! I stayed in touch with her and let her know what my troubles were and she has been an angel. I will be getting there within the next three days, Lord willing, and I am certain beyond any doubt that my stay there will be extra extraordinary. These are class ass people. We decided to stay here spontaneously on our way home, in order to extend our camping trip. The site was super private and peaceful. The price was great too. Yes, the porta potty could use more frequent servicing, as other reviews have mentioned, but it wasn’t overflowing or anything. We were disappointed not to get a chance to tour the sanctuary farm, we never got info from the host on that, but we did get a surprise fence line visit from some neighboring cows! The fresh blackberries we were able to pick for breakfast were yummy too. Spotty reception for our t-mobile users and no reception for our Verizon users.

The campsite was amazing! There were two sites nearby but it still felt very quiet and private. The whole land is very large and my dog had a blast playing within the fenced dog yard. The river trail was also fun to hike. A little cold to swim but my dog had no complaints wading. We also bought amazing honey from their local bee farm. The only things we had complaints about was not about what they could control: our neighbors had their dogs off-leash and one of their dogs pooped near our site, and the gunshots that could be heard pretty close by spooked our dog. But overall highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time camping here this summer but first time in the blue site. We really loved the site. It is very spacious and surrounded by trees, as all the sites are. The property is lovely, as are the hosts! We will be back again next summer!
