Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire. The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet. There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road. There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. We have a 1/2 acre property on the Cowlitz River in the middle of Cooks Ferry Park in Castle Rock WA. We bought the property to relax in a beautiful setting close to home. We only live 15 minutes away. The property is made up of dredge spoils from when Mt. Saint Helens blew and is inside of a park where people can go to fish and enjoy the river. There are only 8 lots privately owned and we are the first lot that you come to. There is plenty of room for an RV. Guests can also tent camp or stay in our shack that has a sleeper sofa. There are snacks, a sign in book, an axe, briquets, a fire extinguisher, and other items the shack. There is a picnic table, fire pit, BBQ, and wood stove. There is a porta potty on the property. We value your privacy. We do have cameras on the property that are on when no one is there. Once a Hipcamper arrives at the property, they are turned off. We also keep our travel trailer there to enjoy when we can. We will never be there camping when you are there. In the summer, we sometimes kayak. We put in upriver and get out at the property. If it is booked at that time, we will always check first to see if it is okay for us to get out there. If you continue going past our property, there are some nice rock beaches with pretty views. People fish there and wade in the water in the summer. Castle Rock is a cute little town with some nice shops, restaurants and bars. I recommend checking it out! We are not picky about check in/check out time. It would only matter if someone else was checking in the day you are checking out. Please ask if you expect to arrive earlier or want to check out later. If your plans change, please cancel through Hipcamp to get a refund.

(This is a leave no trace site. You must take all of your garbage with you!) Just 1.5 hours from Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 3 minutes from Rainbow Falls State Park and 4 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 56 acres of mixed biomes including multi-generational forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn onto Labri road (white sign) and you're on the property after going through a gate. Meander down the road past a red barn and several buildings on your right. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left (look for a blue and white ribbon) you will come up to a tree line where you can park (another blue and white ribbon) and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. The most ideal spot is right after you park near the blue and white ribbon if you walk North you'll see a site marked with an orange and white ribbon. This site has easy access to the creek but is still on a hill. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We have two RV sites with no hook up (boondocking) but bathroom and shower access. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. One acre wooded lot a quarter mile from the Willapa bay and 1.25 miles to drive on beach access. “Bleat Retreat”- (Site 1) has full hook ups and a hammock stand. “Goachella”- (Site 2) is a back down area with a woody view. There is a communal firepit as well as a solo stove for use by either site. There is a flat grassy space for outdoor games and near all the major attractions without being in a busy area. The property also has WiFi mesh with fiber speeds. Come stay with the family! These sites are for fully contained units and do not have access to a shower or toilet. Owners may be onsite at times, and keep a camper at site of their own. Site #1 “The Bleat Retreat” will accommodate a large trailer up to 40’ and 50amps. Site #2 “Goachella” has a sloped back down and will accommodate a trailer up to 25’, a camper van, or a roof top tent set up. Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R& as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups and in order to keep camp as a single site, largeer groups are given preference. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest, and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp you will find a rustic kitchen, two 6' picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is a resource area near the house with an electrical outlet and a Flexzilla water hose, so bring containers. We have really nice firewood bundles as well as fresh eggs for sale and lawn games, hammocks, etc., available for rent. While the campsite, play field, and driveway loops are mowed, most of the grounds are wild, so bring your tromping shoes. Birdsong comes early here, and the night is filled with the sounds of crickets. No city lights, so the stargazing is wonderful. The goats are gentle, curious, and deep body scratch lovers. The chickens and ducks are not hands-on but some, especially the ducks, will eat out of your hands. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum--bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out and keep the lid on the compost. While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Carlisle Lake offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground, and is just a five-minute drive from camp. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet-in-the-middle location. Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all day trips, just an hour or two from here. We are Judy and Summer and Chula, mother and daughter and dog, and we are pleased you are considering a stay with us. We camped in our RV at the Lavender Farm and had the best time! It’s perfectly located, just 30 minutes from Portland and close to a plethora of hikes, and the wide open areas surrounding the farm gave us plenty of space to walk our dogs! The bathrooms were clean, and the paved lot gave us ample room for our RV. We would absolutely recommend a stay here!

We stayed at Site 3 at Jackie and Ron’s. The hosts are more than accommodating. We loved the location and clean bathrooms at a well maintained RV park. There was also WiFi for those that need it, and fire rings if one would like a fire. The campers are quiet and respectful. We will definitely stay here for future clam digging trips.

This campsite is rather large and is perfect for an RV. There is gravel under the grass. Lots of sun but no shade. This site can also get quite windy in the afternoon. This site is on the river and has 110 electricity and water. You have to back in or out.

The level, paved rv site was great! We enjoyed walking the trails to the peaceful creek and around the property. The wifi is not strong but it is a great place to relax and unwind. David was kind and fun to talk with and shared some of his delicious apples with us. We plan on returning in the spring to see a much higher creek and for some more peace and quiet and amazing views of stars without any light pollution.

Our family had such a great time on the river. Even though we got some rain everyday we put our paddle boards in the water from the dock and played. The river is super peaceful and you get to see and hear lots of birds. We lucked out and had the whole place to ourselves even. Really nice to have the provided Adirondack chairs for around the campfire and watching the river too. Hosts were always very quick to respond and helpful. Road and property clean, well maintained and so was the port-o-potty on site. We even visited their horses to say hello for change of scene one afternoon. Mostly though we relaxed in the camp area and enjoyed the river. Will return for sure.

Beautiful place to stay while we explored Rainbow Falls state park. We had site 1 which is flat, paved and has full hookups. The grounds are surrounded by trees and two lush trails, just gorgeous, very well maintained. Peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Quiet, clean, and a great view of the stars. Saw a few cats, deer, and many horses on the drive-in. I watched a beautiful sunset and the harvest moon! Very little light pollution, so the stars were very visible. The stay was so peaceful and quiet. There was hose and a 50amp to 30amp adapter waiting for me when I arrived, such a nice touch. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lavender field.

Once again the Lavender farm was even more than we could have hoped for. Stayed in site 3 again and it was very convenient and easy to back into. Water and electric very accessible. We were able to see host Everett for a short visit and he was as personable and charming as ever. Bends over backwards to make sure everything on his place is as close to perfect as possible. Will spend many more days there next year on our return visit to the northwest💜

We had a lovely stay on Karin's property! The RV spot sat right on the river with plenty of privacy, but still close to the bathroom/shower and kitchen area. Everyone was very friendly and happy to suggest things to do and see and the property had everything we needed! We loved swimming off of the dock, paddleboarding and watching the wildlife around the property. Very relaxing spot and would definitely come back to stay again.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to camp with dogs. We had six dogs among three people and had such a wonderful time on this property! The dogs were safe and entertained and had plenty of space to run and explore and play. We were able to go and enjoy the visiting goats and the ducks and the chickens. Sarah and her partner were super wonderful and welcoming, and we had a great time renting some of the games they had available.
