Camp in a private grove of trees overlooking acres of pastures with grazing sheep, miniature cattle, ponies, and horses. Blackberries are ripe from the middle of July through September. You are welcome to pick as many as you like during your visit.

The Navy OLF is nearby. It is recommended you check the flight schedule for dates and times the jets will be flying. Depending on the direction they happen to be flying that night, it can get quite loud. In those instances, ear protection is recommended. About a third of summer weekdays the OLF is used. The jets do not fly on weekends and holidays. Having said all of this, most campers enjoy the airshow, as it is a unique opportunity.
The camp site is approximately 6 acres located in a quiet secluded forest area near highway 525. A fire pit is provided on non-burn ban days. A flat grassy area is big enough to enjoy your recreation activity of choice. Bring your binoculars and check out all the different kinds of birds. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood.
The mostly flat gravel road can accommodate any size RV.

Deer and occasional coyotes roam the property, but rest assured, they are apprehensive of us and pose no threat.
We derive great pleasure from spending time outdoors, so you may frequently observe us engaged in fieldwork, construction, or simply relaxing in our stargazing hammock circle. We are always available to provide you with space or invite you to join us. We derive immense satisfaction from meeting new individuals and have numerous recommendations for Whidbey Island, including the delectable blueberry stand in Freeland and the Mutiny Bay Blues, a venue that we can either recommend or provide directions to.
We eagerly anticipate your visit. Fern Gully is conveniently located just a two-minute drive from the charming Greenbank Pantry. Where you can indulge in delectable sandwiches and quench your thirst with refreshing Topo Chico or a bottle of wine. For a scenic excursion, venture to South Whidbey State Park, a six-minute drive away. Where you can embark on exhilarating hiking trails along the breathtaking coastline. Nothing fancy, but the site is relatively level, the showers are hot, it’s quiet, and the price is cheaper than anything equivalent in town. (Seriously, the showers!) clean, friendly and responsive hosts, safe, close to ALL the things. We spent so much time hiking, going to the beach, shopping, this was the perfect place to rest and recharge in between. My only complaint is that the road on the way is quite narrow due to the bike lane, but that’s the main road. It’s actually very easy to maneuver once you’re at the fairgrounds themselves. Will stay again!

Great base camp when visiting Whidbey Island. Site is secure and the amenities perfect. Easy back in RV spot. Would come again.

Nice, clean and simple RV camp spot. I was thinking it would have a feel of being in an industrial park, but surprisingly it felt like we were in the country. Perfectly situated to hide the industrial structures. Bonus to have 4 nice individual bathrooms, clean and fully stocked? each with a full shower. We will definitely be back, maybe rent some bikes and explore those trails. It was just a quick little overnight stay for us, in town to visit family, but a great spot! Thanks Jeff and crew!!!

The view was way better than expected- one of the most amazing sunsets over the bay we've ever seen! The site is tidy, quiet, and attractive. Only one of the water hook ups was available, which wasn't a problem for us, but if you only had a short hose, be sure to park near the working one.

We enjoyed our stop over at RV@Olympic. It was truly very clean in all the buildings and the dog park was usually free for our little dogs as well. We really appreciated being fairly close to the clubhouse to use the restroom & showers (new construction with a/c). Friendly staff and a comfortable spot to stay.

Nice camp and the host was very nice and helpful. We messed up our reservation and got in very late and they found a spot for us overnight until our site was open. Great area for the kids to play and close to the national park.

This is a commercial RV park that books partially through Hipcamp. That said, the park is fairly new, clean and well maintained. The showers are private clean and spacious. There is a robot store (not sure what the correct term is) for snacks and other necessities. The spaces are fairly close together with no physical boundaries but it was perfect for our purposes as a stop coming to and from the ferry to Victoria Isand. We would certainly stay there again.
