This is a lovely spot with a host that goes above and beyond. We had two sitting areas and a firepit to use. The cushions and pillows were such a nice touch and the tables were clean and ready to enjoy. She greeted us with a very generous gift bag and an offer to use their adapter to go from 50 to 40 amps. The water view is beautiful. We would happily recommend to friends.

The Back Porch RV Campsite is such a gem! The views are amazing, it’s super spacious, and best of all — no crowded campsites. If you like having room to breathe (and no neighbors right on top of you), this is the spot. The house is nearby, but honestly, we had total privacy and were left to just enjoy the space. The firepit setup was awesome, and the cute little gift bag was such a sweet surprise. Kate was absolutely delightful — so kind and welcoming! Plus, they even had a 30 amp adapter ready, which was super handy. 10/10 recommend!

Kate's place was fantastic! The property is on a hill with a stunning view of the Salish Sea looking across to Vancouver Island. Kate provides a fire pit, and a lovely gazebo both equipped with comfortable outdoor chairs w/cushions and pillows. There is also a picnic table with umbrella. The whole site is clean, neat and so charming. While the house is close to the site, we did not feel crowded. There is much more room here than at any campground we've been to and Kate was the perfect hostess. She greeted us on arrival (with a gift bag!!!), checked on us once to make sure we had all we needed and was immediately available when we had a question, otherwise she left us alone. Kate's place is secluded, yet close enough to Pt Angeles and the Olympic Nat'l Park for easy access. We highly recommend the Back Porch and will stay again next time we come to Port Angeles.

I needed a quick spot close to the Blackball Ferry that runs from Port Angeles to Victoria. I wasn’t arriving until after 7pm Sunday night and had to be at the ferry 15mins away at 7:20am on Monday. I needed close. I needed easy to find. I need clean and safe. I needed no issues for after hour arrivals. This place ticked ALL those boxes! I will return when needing to take the ferry again for more fun adventures on Vancouver Island. BUT I will also be back to explore the area. I’ve been exploring the OP for years and have my fave spots but they were too far for my needs on this trip. But they are perfectly located for exploring great nearby spots.

The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. 1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, and Tents! The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome! Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested. Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line. Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.
